LYNN — A 43-year-old man was arrested after $300,000 worth of fentanyl and cocaine was allegedly seized from his Howard Street home on Friday afternoon.
Carlos Pena-Diaz, of 8 Howard St., was charged with trafficking 200-plus grams each of a Class A and B drug.
The arrest was made after officers from the Lynn Police Drug Task Force were conducting surveillance in the area and saw Pena-Diaz engaged in what they believed to be a drug transaction, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
Police later executed a search warrant at his home and seized two kilos of what appeared to be fentanyl possibly mixed with heroin, a kilo of cocaine and drug paraphernalia, Kmiec said.
