Nabil Ben Younes, 29, of 42 Beckfort St., Beverly, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation and trespassing at 7:32 p.m. Wednesday. 

Anthony Greeley, 34, of 297 Winthrop St., Winthrop, was arrested and charged with Class A drug possession at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday. 

Jose Lopez, 48, of 52 Friend St., was arrested and charged with drug possession with intent to distribute at 11:07 a.m. Wednesday. 

Shantay Neal, 22, of 11 Hanover Circle, was arrested and charged with malicious damage to a motor vehicle, reckless endangerment to a child and witness/juror/police/court official intimidation, and assault with a dangerous weapon at 12:44 p.m. Wednesday. 

Stephanie Williams, 49, was arrested on a warrant at 8:33 a.m. Thursday. 


A report of a motor vehicle crash at 12:19 p.m. Wednesday at 889 Western Ave.; at 1:08 p.m. Wednesday at 75 Boston St.; at 4:38 p.m. Wednesday at 81 North Common St.; at 5:17 p.m. Wednesday at Munroe and Washington streets; at 8:21 p.m. Wednesday on Market Street; at 11 p.m. Wednesday on Cobbet Place; at 7:35 a.m. Thursday at Washington Street and Western Avenue; at 11:48 a.m. Thursday at 17 Chestnut Ave.

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 11:01 p.m. Wednesday at 51 Franklin St.

A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 12:34 p.m. Wednesday at 21 Joyce St.


A report of a gunshot at 11:52 p.m. Wednesday at 710 Summer St. 


A report of an overdose at 1:38 p.m. Wednesday at McCarthy Glass Co. on Western Avenue. 

A report of an opiate overdose at 12:19 a.m. Thursday on Woodman Street.

Security company canceled the burglar alarm at 9 Lantern Lane on Wednesday at 8:17 a.m.  

Alarm company reported an active burglar alarm at 4 Country Club Drive on Wednesday at 5:55 p.m. Officer reports the call was accidental.


Caller from 54 Canterbury Road reported a pickup truck on Wednesday at 7:56 a.m. has been parked in front of his house since Tuesday. Officer reports the owner is having his driveway paved and will move the vehicle. 

The Department of Public Works reported a black pickup truck is parked on the sidewalk on Knoll Road on Wednesday at 8:06 a.m. Officer reports there are no cars parked on the sidewalk.

Mulch fire reported on Wednesday at 10:26 a.m. at 815 Lowell St. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department. 

Resident from 7 Sylvan Circle reported hearing what sounds like yelling from the house next door on Wednesday at 12:41 p.m. Officer reports the home is quiet.

Caller reported his mother-in-law was scammed by a telephone thief for a large sum of money on Wednesday at 6:18 p.m. Officer sent to 50 Center Village to take report. No details provided.

Police received a call about a sleeping motorist at Route 128 and Main Street at Exit 41 on Thursday at 3:43 a.m. Officers  dispatched to investigate. They found the party and waited with her until a ride arrived for her.

Medical Aid

Police received a 911 call about a young man who passed out twice at 19 Alexandra Road on Thursday at 6:54 a.m. Caller said he has no prior medical history. Officers dispatched and patient was taken to Salem Hospital.



A report came in at 11:31 a.m. Wednesday that a fire engine “rubbed” against a parked car and left a mark on Green Street. A note was left on the car.

 At 6:31 a.m. on Thursday, a walk-in reported a hit and run motor vehicle crash on Atlantic Avenue. 


A caller reported workmen with equipment out on Washington Street at 12:09 p.m. on Wednesday. At 12:28 p.m., responding officers advised them they needed a permit to block the sidewalk. 

A caller reported at 3:07 p.m. on Wednesday that as he was trying to leave the Crosby’s lot on Washington Street a large production truck with Netflix was also trying to leave. The caller stated the driver of the truck began yelling at people and causing a scene. They continued and said the Netflix crews don’t respect the people who live in the area who are trying to go about their days. 

A caller reported at 5:19 p.m. on Wednesday that her Mugford Street driveway was blocked and she needed to gain access. She stated it is clearly a driveway and she “is tired of the people in this town and wants the motor vehicles to be towed.” 

A caller reported a branch and a wire down on Jane Road at 6:23 a.m. on Thursday. 

A caller reported at 6:28 a.m. on Thursday that construction workers started too early on Washington Street. Responding officers reported it was workers moving items inside, no construction was going on. 



Michael Derosa, 36, of 90 Aborn St., was arrested on Wednesday at 3:21 a.m. for disturbing the peace following a report of loud music. 

Randy A. Michaud, 45, of 48 Newcastle Road, was arrested on a probation warrant from Peabody District Court on Wednesday at 8:27 a.m. 


Motor vehicle crash reported at 19 Lake and 1 Belfast streets on Tuesday at 5:34 p.m. Officer reports no injuries or tows and will document the incident.

Caller reported a white Honda Accord struck a guardrail at the Marriott Hotel at 8A Centennial Drive on Tuesday at 9:10 p.m. Officer reports airbag deployment but no injuries. Mallia’s Towing en route. 


Caller reported he dropped a bumper off at Wheel Repair Specialists at 80 Newbury St. on Tuesday at 3:41 p.m. and they told him the vehicle part is not there. Party was advised the issue was a civil matter.

Trader Joe’s at 300 Andover St. reports people soliciting in front of store on Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. Officer reports parties sent on their way.

A tenant at 6 Pulaski St.  reports her landlord was yelling at her on Tuesday at 5:31 p.m. Officer reports the dispute is over property guidelines and will document. 

Report of a motorcycle operator fell off his vehicle taking a tight right turn at Bartholomew and 378 Lynnfield streets on Tuesday at 6:43 p.m. 

Strong odor of gas reported in the first floor hallway in the vicinity of 217-218 Magnolia Way on Tuesday at 8:13 p.m. Peabody Fire Department identified the source and will handle the matter.

Disturbance reported at 2 Buttonwood Lane at 48 Andover St. on Tuesday at 11:13 p.m. Caller said a man is yelling and kicking trash barrels, and pushing a woman walking westbound on Andover Street. Parties got in a dark vehicle, possibly a Honda and headed west. Officers checked the area and could not locate the couple.

Car reported in the parking lot of Maple Village at 84 Aborn St. with loud music on Wednesday at 2:37 a.m. Officer reports the man was uncooperative and went inside.

Caller from CVS Pharmacy on Lynnfield Street reports a white van with Maine license plate occupied by 18 teens and two of them were urinating in the parking lot on Wednesday at 10:19 a.m. Officer reports vehicle was sent on its way. 



A report of a motor vehicle accident at Bed Bath and Beyond on Broadway at 1:07 p.m. Wednesday; on Salem Turnpike at 2:26 p.m. Wednesday; at Target Stores on Lynn Fells Parkway at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.


A resident walked into the station to turn over some ammunition and three BB guns he found while cleaning out his father-in-law’s house at 9:28 a.m. Wednesday.

A caller reported a window shot with a BB gun at Pioneer Charter School of Science II at 97 Main St. at 1:29 p.m. Wednesday.


A report of a shoplifter at Sears at 1:29 p.m. Wednesday.
