Caller reported a dead animal on the ramp from Route 128 North at Exit 43 to Walnut Street on Tuesday at 10:28 a.m. Animal control officer contacted.
Complaint
Caller from 21 Juniper Road reported a suspicious dark colored jeep on Wednesday at 12:05 a.m. Operator got out of the vehicle and went to a neighbor’s house. The reporting party believes the neighbor is not at home and he can hear their dog barking. Officer reports the area was checked and the vehicle is gone.
Medical
Well-being check requested at 23 Center Village on Tuesday at 12:17 p.m. by a security company that received a medical alarm alert. Officer checked and no one is at home.

A caller reported a student fled the Village School at 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday. By 11:47 a.m., the child returned to school.
A caller reported his son took his sister’s car for a ride from Village Street at 1:03 p.m. on Tuesday. They stated their son was under the influence. By 1:27 p.m., the son returned the car.

Arrest
Jillian J. O’Keefe, 31 of 22 Circle Hill Road, Salem, was arrested on Monday at 6:17 p.m. following a report of a suspicious vehicle on Railroad Avenue. Officer checked on the person in the parking lot from an outstanding warrant at Ipswich District Court. She is charged with operating an uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle, and a number plate violation.
Accidents
Received a report of a motor vehicle crash on Monday at 4:10 p.m. at 100 Summit St. Officer reports no injuries and no airbag deployment.
Hit and run crash reported at Walgreens at 35 Main St. on Monday at 9:21 p.m. The officer spoke with the reporting party and it is not known if there is damage to the vehicle.
Report of a past hit and run crash at 118 Foster St. on Tuesday at 6:23 a.m. Vehicle with Massachusetts license plate 782WZ2 was struck overnight. Officer will document.
Caller reports a man was struck by a white Acura at 90 Walnut and Fulton streets on Tuesday at 10:53 a.m. The vehicle fled the area. The vehicle took a right onto Howley Street. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital.
Report of a motor vehicle crash at R.C. Mason Movers at 229 Newbury St. on Tuesday at 11:42 a.m. Officer will document the crash, no injuries and no tows.
Animal Control
Animal control officer received a faxed notification on Monday at 4:46 p.m. reporting a scratch incident with a kitten on Aug. 8. Owner was advised of quarantine protocol. Paperwork served on Tuesday.
Complaints
Caller reports a suspicious man knocking on her door at 13 Pocahontas Drive on Monday at 3:46 p.m. Resident said there are two people outside her house and they turned off the electricity to the house. Officer reports the men work for Peabody Municipal Light Plant.
Report from 261 Newbury St., Apt. 79 who said her husband is intoxicated and passed out on the sofa. She wants him removed from the residence. The man was taken to Salem Hospital by Atlantic Ambulance on Monday at 5:54 p.m.
Suspicious activity reported at 27 Beacon Boulevard on Monday at 6:43 p.m. Caller said he saw two juveniles on bicycles steal another bike from the property and took off from Lexington Avenue toward Bay State Boulevard. They were described as being 10 and wearing shorts and backpacks. Officer spoke with the reporting party and identified one of the juveniles but it was not the one who tried to steal the bike from the property.
An employee of Bunghole Liquors at 79 Lowell St. is upset about a delivery driver blocking the entrance to the store on Monday at 7:40 p.m. Officer spoke with the driver who will attempt to find a better parking spot next time but said it is a large truck for the parking lot.
Resident of 30 Margin St., Apt. 2R called 911 to report her cactus had died on Monday at 8:36 p.m. She is concerned the plant may have died as a result of a gas leak but said there is no odor. Officer reports all clear.
Confused caller reported several people fighting in front of 30 Blaney Ave., Apt. B on Tuesday at 3:48 a.m. Officer reports nothing showing on Blaney or surrounding streets.
Woman from 15 Keys Drive, Apt. 12 reported yelling and banging from the above apartment, possible domestic dispute on Tuesday at 7:14 a.m. Officer reported the couple were having a verbal argument, that’s what they do.
Caller from 13 Center St. reported concern for the children in the second floor apartment on Tuesday at 7:29 a.m. The reporting party said the mother takes the father to work
daily and leaves the four children alone in the apartment. The youngest is 11 months old and the oldest is 7 years old. The officer said mom arrived on scene. The officer will file a 51a, a report of suspected abuse or neglect.
