A caller reported a skunk with a yogurt cup on its head on Village Street at 8:25 a.m. on Monday. The animal control officer responded and took it off.
A caller reported at 12:38 p.m. on Monday that it looks like a bird was trapped inside an abandoned house on Green Street. Animal Control responded and reported the back door of the home was kicked in and open, which is how the bird got in. They cracked a window so the bird could escape.
A caller reported at 12:42 p.m. on Monday there were three cars parked in the wrong direction on Homestead Road. She stated safety concerns and noted how “parents forget that the street is still a two-way street.” She stated she wanted officers to be aware this happens every day during the school year.
A caller reported at 8:07 p.m. on Monday that her son was out of control. When officers responded to their Broughton Road home, the mother stated it was a disagreement over the use of his Playstation on a school night.
A caller reported a man sleeping in a vehicle on Pleasant Street at 10:41 p.m. on Monday. Responding officers reported the man left the area prior to arrival but when they located him, he stated he fell asleep after drinking milk.

A caller on Nahant Road near Forty Steps Beach reported a “homeless-looking” individual who walked off the beach and is looking into parked motor vehicles at 9:11 a.m. Tuesday.
A caller reported she found some bones on Tudor Beach that she believes to be a child’s tibia and fibula at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday. Police brought the bones back to the station for identification. They were identified as bones from a seagull.
A caller from Tom’s Taxi reported one of his drivers was involved in an altercation with a suspect who appeared drunk and attempted to get in his taxi at 11:52 p.m. Friday. The suspect allegedly became belligerent when he was told there was already a passenger.
A caller reported he ran his boat up onto the rocks near Forty Steps Beach at 12:31 a.m. Saturday. At 6:13 a.m. Saturday, police report they located the boat off of Spouting Horn Road and it is taking on water and might not make it until the return of the owner. The harbormaster was called.
Theft
A caller on Nahant Road reported a safe was stolen the night before at 10:38 a.m. Wednesday.

Arrest
John M. Galvin, 28, of 37 Parrott St., Lynn, was arrested on Sunday at 8:08 p.m. following a report of a disturbance at 14 Jacobs St. Apt. 1 and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, threat to commit a crime, and malicious destruction of property in excess of $1,200.
Summons
Clayton Rodrigues, 28, was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at Bridge and Andover streets on Sunday at 9:50 p.m. for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a red light violation. Officer reports vehicle was picked up on scene by the registered owner.
Christian Lopez Merida, 21, of 63 Laurel St., Lynn, was summoned on Sunday at 10:02 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop on Endicott Street for operating a motor vehicle after suspension.
James Joseph Owen Jr., 47, of 59 Rockland Ave., Malden, was summoned on Monday at 8:36 a.m. following a report of a past possible check fraud at Building Supplies Outlet Inc. at 20 Webster St. and charged with larceny by check over $1,200, uttering, and forged check.

Resident of 3 Oak St. is upset that a group of 5- to 8-year-olds are outside playing and screaming on Sunday at 9:07 p.m. Officer located the children, they appeared OK and officer asked them to keep it down for the night.
Resident of 9 Batchelder Ave. reports he punctured the gas line while digging on Monday at 10:44 p.m. Gas company notified. Capt. Bonaiuto said a National Grid employee on Spring Street notified the utility company about the break. Peabody Fire Department arrived and shut off the gas main and electricity to the house.
