Woman came to the station to complain about an unrestrained dog at 110 Lowell St. on Monday at 11:24 a.m. She said it stands on the edge of the raised yard and barks at her when she walks by. She fears it will leave the property and go after her. Woman was told dogs are not required to be restrained on their property. She was advised to avoid the area if she felt uncomfortable. She also said the owner always walks the dog off leash. She was told a citation warning would be mailed.
On Monday at 3:25 p.m. a caller reported two dogs from 14 Fairview Ave. were loose again on Friday. It’s an ongoing issue with the dog owner. Dogs are still unlicensed, despite receiving several warnings.
