LYNN 

Arrests 

Paul Baugh, 54, was arrested and charged with violation of the city knife ordinance at 3:33 p.m. Monday. 

Michael Jamieson, 35, of 95 Pleasant St., was arrested and charged with interfering with a police officer and disorderly conduct at 4:47 p.m. Monday. 

Jose Machado, 27, of 10 Petucket St., Haverhill, was arrested and charged with armed robbery at 6:26 p.m. Monday. 

Kevin Medrano, 29, of 40 Ward St., Salem, was arrested and charged with armed robbery, motor vehicle use without authority and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 5:49 p.m. Monday. 

Beatrice Ortiz, 34, was arrested on a warrant charge of murder at 10:59 p.m. Monday. 

Earl Ricker, 36, of 100 Lawrence Ave., Boston, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property at 10:19 p.m. Monday. 

Chris Stewart, 61, of 114 Nahant St., was arrested and charged with disguise to obstruct justice, motor vehicle operator refuses to identify self, uninsured motor vehicle/trailer, unregistered motor vehicle, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, number plate violation to conceal ID, motor vehicle lights violation, and on warrant charges of two counts of operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, two counts of unregistered motor vehicle, number plate violation to conceal, and uninsured motor vehicle at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday. 

Ramon Zapata, 29, of 2 Brightwood Terrace, was arrested and charged with Class E drug possession and on warrant charges of Class B drug distribution and miscellaneous municipal ordinance violation at 6 p.m. Monday.

Summons

Augustina Kieonna Anderson, 21, of 76 Lincoln Terrace, Bloomfield, Conn., was summoned following a motor vehicle complaint at MarketStreet on Monday at 8:32 p.m. for unlicensed and improper operation of a motor vehicle. Car was impounded. 

Alarms

Accidental burglar alarm at Lynnfield High School at 275 Essex St. on Monday at 9:35 p.m. Officer reports school is secure. 

Security company reported fire alarm at 55 Mansfield Road on Monday at 9:56 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department. 

Report of a burglar alarm sounded at Huckleberry Hill School at 5 Knoll Road on Tuesday at 4:04 a.m. Officer reports school is secure. 

Complaints 

Caller reported man and woman fighting while walking on Route 1 North at Kelly Jeep Chrysler Plymouth at 353 North Broadway on Monday at 9:42 a.m. Officer checked the area but was unable to locate the couple.

Theft reported on Monday at 3 p.m. at 375 North Broadway, Apt. 1-202. No details provided.

Report of fraud at Victoria’s Secret at 710 Market St. on Monday at 4 p.m. No details provided. 

Medical 

Ambulance requested from Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. on Monday at 8:54 a.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital in Lynn.

Lahey Health Center at 1350 Market St. requested an ambulance on Monday at 10:09 a.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Medical aid requested on Monday at 1:25 p.m. at 1215 Main St. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington. 

Request for an ambulance on Monday at 1:44 p.m. at 101 Ross Drive. Patient taken to the hospital. 

MARBLEHEAD

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash where one vehicle side-swiped another on Atlantic Avenue at 11:39 a.m. on Monday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash where a vehicle was rear-ended on Pleasant Street at 5:21 p.m. on Monday.

Complaints

A caller reported three people inside her Lincoln Avenue home refused to leave at 10:14 a.m. on Monday. Responding officers advised them it was a civil issue.

A caller reported multiple construction trucks and vehicles creating traffic issues near Beacon Street and Bradlee Road at 11:16 a.m. on Monday. Responding officer reported all vehicles were parked on the right side of the road.

A caller reported two males on bicycles who were possibly intoxicated on Washington Street at 9 p.m. on Monday. They stated one male fell off and had a hard time getting back on. Responding officers checked the area and found no one matching the description.

A caller reported a loud party on Kenneth Road at 10:04 p.m. on Monday. Responding officers reported no noise at all.

A caller reported a possible drunk person passed out in front of a Gregory Street home at 10:16 p.m. on Monday. They stated they tried to raise the person up from the ground but could not. Responding officers put the person’s bike in a garage and took him into protective custody until his brother came to pick him up.

A caller reported at 5:38 a.m. on Friday that their “noisy neighbor” has been working the leaf blower since 5 a.m. on Lafayette Street.

PEABODY 

Arrests

Daniel Hugo Viera, 28, of 6 Elmwood Circle, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop at 1 Hathaway Ave. on Saturday at 4:57 p.m. for unlicensed operation of an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle, and attaching plates.

Nicholas I. Colby, 28, of 55 Bartholomew St., was arrested on Sunday at 10:20 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop for operating under the influence, and speeding.

Accidents

Hit and run crash reported in the parking lot at Bagel World Bakery & Deli at 10 Sylvan St. on Saturday at 10:13 a.m. Suspect vehicle described as a dark Honda CRV with a Stonehill College sticker. Officer will document. 

Multiple calls about a motor vehicle crash on Saturday at 2:49 p.m. at Kappy’s Liquor at 175 Andover St. Tow trucks contacted for both vehicles. 

Report of a motor vehicle crash at the Brown School at 150 Lynn St. on Saturday at 3:33 p.m. Blue RAV 4 fled the scene, no injuries, no tows. Lynn Police Department notified the vehicle that field has a Massachusetts license plate 9CV966.

Minor motor vehicle crash with little damage reported at 136 and 2 King streets on Saturday at 11:14 p.m. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

Animal Control 

Report of a barking dog disturbing the peace at 10 Willis Road on Sunday at 9:32 p.m. Caller said it’s an ongoing problem. The animal was quiet when the dog officer arrived, but then started barking. Officers spoke with the owner who said he will keep it quiet.  

Complaints 

Caller from 142 Shore Drive reports two teenagers trying to break into a motor vehicle on Saturday at 12:01 a.m. Reporting party cannot speak English and could not give a description of the suspects or the vehicle. Officer will document.

Danvers Police Department reports an alarm coming from the Peabody Municipal Light Plant pumping station on Sylvan Street on Saturday at 3:33 a.m. Officer found what appears to be a high voltage area with a buzzing alarm coming from it. Property belongs to Weston & Sampson in Reading. They were contacted and will send someone to check the pump.

Officers attempted to serve summons to Jacqueline Taylor at 57 Veterans Memorial Drive on Saturday at 7:06 a.m. Officer reports no answer.

Possible overdose reported at 31 Gardner St. on Saturday at 7:34 a.m. Narcan given and patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

Resident from 111 Foster St., Apt. 401 reports identity fraud on Saturday at 12:39 p.m. Salem Police Department contacted for a  follow-up. Reporting party called back to say he has worked out the matter and no longer needs assistance. 

Possible harassment reported by a resident from 28 Keys Drive on Saturday at 7:06 p.m. Reporting party said a former friend posted an unfavorable Instagram item. Officer advised that she could attempt to get a restraining order at Peabody District Court.

Unsteady, intoxicated man reported at 69 Walnut and 24 Caller streets on Saturday at 8:49 p.m. Officer reports the man was gone when police arrived. 

Loud music reported at 71 County St. on Saturday at 10:05 p.m. Officer reports music was turned down.

Report of a group of youths being loud at 2 Goldberg Road on Sunday at 12:18 a.m. Officers could not locate anyone or noise coming from the location.  All is in order at this time.

Caller from the Tannery Apartments at 16 Crowninshield St. requested an officer on Sunday at 12:22 a.m. in reference to an ongoing issue with noise coming from Apt. 104 every Saturday night. Officer spoke to the reporting party and advised him to get copies of the police reports of all the times they have been called to the address and bring them to the management company. Offer also spoke with resident of Apt. 104 and he is ending the party.

Resident of Castle Circle reported a loud party and numerous vehicles at 18 Castle Circle on Sunday at 1:32 a.m. Officer spoke to the noisy resident who agreed to end the party.

Report of loud voices causing a disturbance outside 12 Magnolia Way on Sunday at 2:28 a.m. Parties told officer they were looking for keys, and will look in the daylight.

Report from a resident of Terrace Estates that there is a party with loud noise coming from somewhere on Castle Circle on Sunday at 3:30 a.m. Officer spoke with the offending resident and advised them to take the remaining guests inside for the evening. All is in order at this time.

Loud yelling at the pool at 5 Sycamore Circle on Sunday at 3:56 a.m. Officer reports the people are inside the kitchen and not in the pool area. All is quiet at this time. Units clear.

Woman reported the rear driver’s side window of her vehicle was smashed at 72 Central St. on Sunday at 6:13 a.m. 

Disturbance reported by an anonymous caller who was upset about loud music, screaming kids, and barbecue at 3 Oak St. on Sunday at 7:08 p.m. Officer reports the parties are having a cookout, no issue.

Report of a loud party on the first floor of 3 Oak St. called in by a neighbor on Sunday at 8:50 p.m. Officer reports the music turned off.

Passing motorist reported a woman fell out of a parked motor vehicle in the TD Bank parking lot on Lowell Street on Sunday at 9:21 a.m. The reporting party said the woman appeared to be out of it and there was a male passenger who also appeared to be out of it. Officers checked the area and the vehicle was no longer in the parking lot.

Resident reports that he owes someone $500 and the person is now banging on the front door of 19 Esquire Drive on Sunday at 9:44 a.m. seeking to be paid. The officer spoke with both parties separately and they will work the matter out themselves.

Overdose reported by the Peabody Fire Department on Sunday at 3:15 p.m. at Mobile Estate at 286 Newbury St., Apt. 19. The resident was transported to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center by Atlantic Ambulance.

Anonymous caller reports loud music and kids playing on Sherman Street on Sunday at 7 p.m. Officer reports kids playing, no issue.

SAUGUS

Arrest

John Giardi, 32, of 1 Autumn View, Salem, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a theft detection shielding device, unlawful possession of a theft detection deactivator or remover, shoplifting by concealing merchandise, and disorderly conduct. 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 9 Broadway at 2:46 p.m. Monday; at 363 Walnut St. at 4:24 p.m. Monday; at Broadway and Walnut Street at 5:06 p.m. Monday; at Big Y on Broadway at 7:48 p.m. Monday; on Walnut Street at 9:38 p.m. Monday; on Walnut Street at 10:37 p.m. Monday.

Theft

A caller from Walgreens on Broadway reported a man in a bathing suit tried to steal items from the store and took off on foot at 12:02 p.m. Monday. 

A report of shoplifting from Best Buy on Broadway at 8:25 p.m. Monday. Loss prevention at the store reported a male suspect ran onto the highway. Police located him in the median of the highway and placed him under arrest. 

Loss prevention at Walmart reported detaining a female shoplifter who allegedly stole more than $169 worth of merchandise at 10:43 p.m. Monday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash with property damage less than $1,000 at Santander Bank, 495 Paradise Road, at 5:16 p.m. on Monday.
