Arrests

Neftali Diaz, 47, of 18 Rockaway Court, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, unlawful possession of ammo with no FID card, firearm use in felony, firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, carrying a firearm without a license, firearm violation with one prior violent violation, and carrying a loaded firearm weapon at 10:27 p.m. on Thursday.

Michael King, 28, of 1 Gavin Way, Boston, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and motor vehicle operator refusing to identify self at 5:20 p.m. on Thursday.

Rafael Soto was arrested on a warrant charge of unarmed assault to rob at 2:03 a.m. on Friday.

Charles Stankiewicz, Jr. was arrested on warrant charges of three counts of shoplifting by concealing merchandise at 10:22 a.m. on Friday.

Angelo Trinidad, 50, of 7 Willow St., was arrested and charged with an ordinance violation of open container of alcohol and trespassing at 6:11 p.m. on Thursday.

Accidents

A caller reported someone clipped their mirror and created minor damage on Pleasant Street at 9:14 a.m. on Thursday.

A report of a minor motor vehicle crash in a Pleasant Street parking lot at 10:37 a.m. on Thursday.

A call came in at 3:35 p.m. on Thursday that a car was damaged by a manhole cover on Humphrey Street.

Complaints

A caller reported hate graffiti on Old Salem Road at 7:46 a.m. on Thursday.

A caller reported a maintenance man fell from a ladder on West Shore Drive at 9:05 a.m. on Thursday and requested an ambulance. She stated she didn’t know how high he fell from but she assisted in walking him to the main lobby. First responders reported he fell a short distance and landed on a bush, sustaining a puncture wound to his neck from the bushes.

A caller reported at 9:44 a.m. on Thursday that she had an Amazon package that was stolen from her Jersey Street porch. She stated the value was around $500.

A walk-in came in with her father at 10:11 a.m. on Thursday and reported past harassment and breaking and entering.

A walk-in from North Shore Elders came in at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday and reported an anonymous neighbor filed a complaint that she hears yelling and screaming from a house on Old Salem Road and she believes there is abuse going on.

A caller reported at 11:14 a.m. on Thursday that his boat trailer was stolen. He stated the last time he saw it was at the Eastern Yacht Club 17 days ago.

A caller reported there was a seagull with a hook in its head on Lafayette Street at 1:02 p.m. on Thursday. The animal control officer located the bird and brought it to the vet.

A caller reported at 4:56 p.m. on Thursday that her 17-year-old son is getting emails from someone claiming they were able to get into his phone. They stated if the son doesn’t pay $100 they are going to release his information.

A caller reported at 5:23 p.m. on Thursday that she passed a car at Ocean Avenue and Atlantic Avenue with two males in it and she believed they were smoking pot. Responding officers were unable to locate.

A caller reported at 8:39 p.m. on Thursday that there was a woman slumped over the wheel of a car on Atlantic Avenue. He stated he tried to knock on her window to get her attention but she looked up and passed out again. Responding officers reported she was picked up by her son.

A caller reported at 12:43 a.m. on Friday that a drunk male was passed out on the sidewalk at Front Street and Mariners Lane. First responders transported him to North Shore Medical Center in Salem.

NAHANT

Deuzemir Plcides DaSilva, 43 of 141 4th St. Apt. 1, Medford, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding at a rate of speed exceeding posted limit. 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash on the Causeway at 6:41 p.m. Monday. 

Complaints

A caller reported people smoking on the beach on Nahant road at 4:51 p.m. Sunday. 

A Nahant Road resident reported hearing loud music and he thinks people might be on the rocks at 5:27 p.m. Sunday. 

A boat was reportedly playing loud music in the Bass Point area at 8:07 p.m. Sunday. 

A Lafayette Terrace resident reported something scratching on his screen door last night about 10 p.m. the night before and he believes it was a fisher cat at 12:28 p.m. Monday. 

A report of vandalism to a memorial tree at Marjoram Park at 2:09 p.m. Monday. 

A man reported kids jumping and using foul language at Tudor Wharf at 5:10 p.m. Monday. 

A firearm was turned in to the Nahant Police Department at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. 

An anonymous caller complained about marijuana growth possibly more than 13 plants on Castle Road at 9:58 a.m. Tuesday. Police report plants that are visible from the street which is a violation of the law. 

A caller reported kids on Castle Rock on Nahant road and requested officers remove tham at 2:24 p.m. Tuesday. 

A caller on Wharf Street reported two jet skis operating erratically close to the Wharf at 7:31 p.m. Tuesday. 

PEABODY 

Summons

Genesio J. Oliveira, 40, of 52 Woodrow Ave., Haverhill was summoned following a report of fraud at Skin MD Peabody at First Avenue on Thursday at $1,200.

David M. Hardiman, 52, of 3 Ledgewood Way, Apt. 11 was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at 527 Lowell and 2 Bourbon streets for the operation of a motor vehicle with a revoked license and a red light violation. 

Arrest 

Freedom Weymouth, 40, of 13 Jacobs St. was arrested on three warrants following a call from 13 Jacobs St. reporting he was at that location on Thursday at 9:23 p.m.  

Animal Control 

Caller from the Tannery Apartments at 50 Warren St., reports the dog in Apt. 601 has been whining more than usual for a few days on Friday at 2:29 p.m. and the owner has not been seen. Caller was advised the animal control officer lacks the authority to enter a home without the resident’s consent. Caller was told to contact the management company.

Complaints 

Out-of-control woman reported at Century House at 235 Andover St. on Thursday at 8:05 p.m. Officer reports she was upset because the host coughed on her food. 

Unwanted woman reported at 6 Sanborn St., Apt. 5 on Thursday at 8:48 p.m. Officer reports woman left prior to arrival of police. 

Report of a man in an orange sweatshirt walking around the parking lot at Audi Peabody on Thursday at 11:04 p.m. The security company canceled the call, saying the man had left the dealership. 

Caller from 10 Elliott Place, Apt. 1R reported her girlfriend will not leave her alone and is drunk on Friday at 12:32 a.m. Officer reports the fight was over wifi and has been resolved. 

Report of a road rage incident on Friday at 11 a.m. and two people arguing at 2 Hillside Ave. One of the parties fled the area in a dark colored Honda. Caller did not want to provide their information. Area checked by officer, parties no longer on scene.
