LYNN

Arrests 

G’Andre Brown, of 36 Roosevelt St., Revere, was arrested on a warrant charge of Class B drug distribution at 12:13 p.m. Thursday. 

Bridget Christopher was arrested on a warrant charge of false fire alarm at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday. 

Sterling Melo, 28, of 7 Holland Ave., was arrested and charged with three counts of trafficking more than 10 grams of fentanyl, and three counts of Class A drug distribution at 6:23 a.m. Thursday. 

Billy Ortega, 26, of 312 Union St., was arrested on a warrant charge of 12:04 p.m. Thursday. 

Michael Sbraccia, 49, of 223 Central St., Saugus, was arrested and charged with possession of a burglarious instrument, common & notorious thief, attempt to commit crime and trespassing at 5:09 a.m. Thursday. 

Anna Todd-Herrick, 33, was arrested on warrant charges of two counts of shoplifting by asportation and miscellaneous municipal ordinance violation at 10:58 a.m. Thursday. 

David Torres was arrested on warrant charges of shoplifting by asportation and daytime breaking and entering for a felony at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 2:59 p.m. Wednesday at 2 Empire St.; at 3:04 p.m. Wednesday at 832 Lynnfield St.; at 8:04 p.m. Wednesday at 60 Western Ave.; at 12:36 p.m. Thursday at Washington Street and Western Avenue. 

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 8:58 p.m. Wednesday at Liberty and Washington streets; at 7:46 a.m. Thursday at 581 Lynnfield St.

Alarms

Accidental burglar alarm sounded by the homeowner at 6 Windsor Road on Tuesday at 7:52 a.m.

Lynnfield High School at 275 Essex St. reported an accidental burglar alarm on Tuesday at 8 p.m. Officer reports building is secure.

Accidental fire alarm was reported at King’s Entertainment at 510 Market St. on Thursday at 1:34 a.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department. 

Security company reported burglar alarm sounded at the Lynnfield Middle School at 505 Main St. on Thursday at 2:40 a.m. Officer reports the school is secure.

A 911 hangup call was received from Lahey Health Center at 1350 Market St. on Thursday at 11:04 a.m. Officer confirmed it was an accident. 

Report of a 911 hangup call at 2 Ryan Road on Thursday at 12:05 p.m. Officer was unable to locate the exact location of the call. 

Complaints 

Wires down reported at Oakridge Terrace on Wednesday at 9:58 a.m. Officer reports Verizon was contacted. 

Whole Foods Market store manager reported possible road rage incident on Wednesday at 2:01 p.m. in the parking lot. Report taken, no details provided. 

Report of public drinking reported on Wednesday at 7:26 p.m. by the Whole Foods Market manager. Officer reported a call was made for an ambulance for a woman with a head injury. Officer reports she refused medical attention and officer waited on scene for husband to arrive and take custody.

A 911 call from 5 Elliot Road for an ambulance to take a woman with an infection to the hospital on Wednesday at 7:26 p.m. Patient taken to Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. 

Parking violation reported on Thursday at 10 a.m. on Heritage Lane. Officer reports construction crew working on Main Street has a trailer parked on Heritage Lane making it difficult to get around. Officer requested orange cones placed at the trailer and the Department of Public Works was notified.

Medical 

Ambulance requested on Wednesday at 10:47 a.m. at 506 Salem St. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.

Sagamore Spring Golf Club at 1287 Main St. requested an ambulance on Wednesday at 1:28 p.m. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.

Caller from 704 Essex Village requested an ambulance on Thursday at 9:39 a.m. Patient taken to Beverly Hospital.  

Well-being check requested at 462 South Broadway and 771 Salem St. on Thursday at 10:21 a.m. Officer reports the call was unfounded.     

MARBLEHEAD

Accidents

A caller reported at 12:59 p.m. on Wednesday that a male driving a truck at Pleasant and Anderson streets clipped his side mirror. He stated he had no injuries but his vehicle window shattered and there was glass everywhere.

A caller reported a minor motor vehicle crash on Linden Street at 6:57 p.m. on Wednesday.

Complaints

A caller reported at 8:53 a.m. on Wednesday that her 14-year-old son was being “oppositional.” She stated he refused to go to camp and was just lying in bed.

A caller reported at 7:37 p.m. on Wednesday that three cars on Ocean Avenue have flat tires from “something lethal” that was sticking out and broken. Responding officers reported a cap broke and became jagged.

A caller reported at 8:52 p.m. on Wednesday that someone threw a bunch of bottles in the middle of Washington Street, which made it hard for vehicles to pass. Responding officers found a few cinder blocks in the roadway and assisted in moving them to the side of the road.

A caller reported at 9:47 p.m. on Wednesday that someone stole her phone number and tried to change her carrier to a new company which forced her account to be suspended. She was advised Verizon will investigate once they get a police report.

A caller reported a problem with a male customer on State Street who they thought was on drugs or drunk at 10:02 p.m. on Wednesday. Responding officers reported he refused medical treatment and safely returned home in an Uber.

An officer reported at 12:41 a.m. on Thursday that he came across a drunk male on Front Street. His father was contacted and he came to pick him up.

PEABODY 

Summons

Mario Merida, 41, of 14 Elmwood Ave., Apt. 3, Lynn, was summoned following a motor vehicle crash at 33 Centennial Drive at 7 Summit St. on Wednesday at 4:53 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without a license and failure to stop or yield.

Mark Stephen Moran Jr., 30, of 14 Great Woods Terrace, Lynn, was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at Paddy Kelley’s at 154 Washington for operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle with a suspended license. All Star Tow contacted to tow the vehicle. 

Accidents

Report of a two-car crash at Petco Pet Superstore on Andover Street on Wednesday at 4:10 p.m. Officer reports no injuries, and operators exchanged information before police arrived.

Caller reported a two-car crash without injuries at 33 Centennial Drive at 7 Summit St. on Wednesday at 4:53 p.m. All Star Towing towed the vehicles. See arrest above of Mario Merida.

Motor vehicle crash between a Toyota Camry and Toyota Corolla at Wilson Square on Wednesday at 8:05 p.m. 

Report of a minor motor vehicle crash reported at 7-Eleven at 100 Lynn St. on Thursday at 8:16 a.m. Both vehicles towed by Todisco Towing.  

Animal Control 

Caller from Caller Street reported a neighbor’s dogs bark constantly on Thursday at 11:33 a.m. Animal control officer advised caller dogs are allowed to bark as long as they stop in a few seconds. Complaint sent with a copy of the leash law to Juderka Lendof, 5 Caller St. 

Lost 10-year-old Maine Coon mix cat was reported on Thursday at 1:13 p.m. at Mobile Estates at 286 Newbury St. Cat is not microchipped but is wearing a flea collar. 

Complaints 

Report of four youths causing a disturbance in the Northshore Mall food court on Wednesday at 4:43 p.m. Officer reports parties were sent on their way. 

A 911 call was received from Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in Danvers about an out-of-control man in the parking lot. Call was transferred to the Danvers Police Department. 

Employee at Stop & Shop Supermarket at 19 Howley St. reported a man at a gas pump is acting strange and banging on his car on Wednesday at 8:43 p.m. Man was taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. Atlantic Ambulance called back to say the man was being taken to Salem Hospital.

Caller from 5 Waldingfield Lane reported someone banging at his back door on Wednesday at 9:15 p.m. and will not identify himself. Officer reports the person knocking is the landlord.

Caller from 142 Washington St., Apt. 2 reports two homeless men sleeping on his back porch on Thursday at 7:19 a.m. Officer reports they were given permission to sleep on the second floor deck by the third floor unit. They have gone back into the third floor apartment. 

The Peabody Fire Department reported a man yelling at motor vehicles at 101 Lowell St. on Thursday at 9:05 a.m. Officer spoke with the man who declined assistance and was sent on his way. 

Resident from Pinewood Road reports a woman screaming at the dog daycare house nearby on Thursday at 9:06 a.m. Officer reports a new employee was screaming at a few dogs who were attacking another dog.

Neighbor reports a construction crew is pumping water into the trailer park at 274 Newbury St. on Thursday at 9:09 a.m. Officer reports the call was unfounded. The water was being pumped from the fire hydrant.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at Stop & Shop on Main Street at 1:46 p.m. Wednesday; on Founders Way at 10:21 p.m. Wednesday.

Complaints

A caller reported three people trying to cross the highway on Broadway at 8:23 a.m. Wednesday. 

A caller reported two youths taking items from his shed at Saugus Mobile Home Park at 4:53 p.m. Wednesday.

A report of a large raccoon either injured or dead in the roadway on Lynn Fells Parkway at 9:47 p.m. Wednesday.

Arrest

John Walthall, 20, was arrested and charged with failure to wear a seatbelt, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating under the influence of liquor, and possession of alcohol from an open container at 4:24 a.m. on Wednesday.
