The Lynn Woods Summer Cross Country Series continued Wednesday evening, with 220 runners competing across three races.
In the 1.59-mile long kids race, Swampscott’s Andrew Paster took first place with a time of 12:58. Thomas Cogliano — also of Swampscott — finished in second place (13:17), while Lynn’s Iyari Ericson finished in third place (13:23). Katana O’Keefe of Saugus (13:48) and Hannah Desilets of Lynn (13:49) rounded out the top five.
In the short race from Hillside to Steel Tower, Revere’s Victor Pelatere earned first place honors with a time of 14:07. A trio of Revere residents followed Pelatere, with Christian Madrid placing second (14:17), Fabio Tran placing third (14:31) and James Carpinelli (15:11) placing fourth. Medford’s Joe O’Leary finished in fifth place with a time of 15:24.
In the 4.6-mile race down Undercliff Trail, Ailton Pedro of Everett finished in first place (30:53). Lynn’s Matt Viega followed in second place (30:59), while Lynn’s Mike Fitzgerald placed third (32:13). Adam Cook and Charlie DeMayo — both of Melrose — finished tied for fourth with a time of 32:34, while Woburn’s Chris Smith finished in sixth place with a time of 33:09.
The Lynn Woods Summer Cross Country Series will continue every Wednesday evening through September 25.
