NASHUA, N.H. — A Peabody man faces charges for the alleged sexual assault of a woman working as an in-home caregiver for one of his relatives in New Hampshire.
Bruno Meoli, 71, was arrested by the Nashua, N.H., Police Department’s Uniformed Field Operations Bureau this week for attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault, and three counts of simple assault, according to police.
The arrest was the result of a report on May 10 from the worker who said she was sexually assaulted by Meoli.
He was released on a promise to return to Hillsborough County Superior Court on Thursday, Aug. 22.
