LYNN 

Arrests 

Angel Avelino was arrested on warrant charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, no inspection/sticker and Class B drug possession at 11:28 a.m. Monday. 

Aviel Lopez, 29, of 149 Eckler St., Boston, was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, motor vehicle operator refuses to identify self and on warrant charges of leaving the scene of property damage, OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and assault at 4:54 p.m. Sunday. 

Chadlee Moore, 49, of 900 Western Ave., was arrested and charged with speeding at 1:39 p.m. Sunday. 

Alexander Robles, 26, of 45 Chatham St., was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle and disguise to obstruct justice at 10:31 p.m. Sunday. 

Charles Stankiewicz was arrested on warrant charges of municipal by-law violation, receiving stolen property and shoplifting by concealing merchandise at 6 p.m. Sunday. 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 1:35 p.m. Sunday at 47 O’Callaghan Way; at 6:09 p.m. Sunday at 28 Perley St.; at 6:33 p.m. Sunday at Linwood Street and Parkland Avenue. 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3:48 p.m. Sunday at 1000 Western Ave.; at 4:43 p.m. Sunday at 131 Den Quarry Road; at 9:55 p.m. Sunday at 76 Grant St.; at 7:47 a.m. Monday at Bloomfield and Chatham streets; at 10:48 a.m. Monday at Boston and Kirtland streets.  

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 1:34 a.m. Monday at Fayette Street and Trinity Avenue. 

Assaults

A report of an opiate overdose at 12:05 p.m. Monday on Adams Street. 

Theft 

A report of a robbery at 11:16 p.m. Sunday at 101 Essex St. 

A report of a larceny at 2:04 a.m. Monday at 3 Kingsley Terrace; at 10:15 a.m. Monday at 8 Chase St. 

A report of motor vehicle theft at 8:55 a.m. Monday at 110 Washington St. 

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 5:32 p.m. Sunday at 70 Hanover St.; at 12:42 a.m. Monday at Huss Court and Vine Street.  

LYNNFIELD

Accidents 

Saugus Police Department reported an accident with injury at Kelly Jeep Chrysler at 353 North Broadway on Saturday at 2:01 p.m. Massachusetts State Police contacted. Patient taken to Union Hospital in Lynn.

Officer reports motor vehicle crash at Summer Street School at 262 Summer St. on Saturday at 5:08 p.m. A2 also responds to call. Fire and EMS dispatched due to airbag deployment. No injuries reported. Gaeta’s towing removed vehicle from scene.

Alarms

Security company canceled burglar alarm reported on Friday at 3:51 p.m. at 390 Salem St. 

Report of a residential burglar alarm at 515 Summer St. on Friday at 5:37 p.m. Officer reports it was accidental. 

Alarm company reported burglar alarm sounded at Lynnfield Middle School on Friday at 7:20 p.m. 

Accidental alarm reported at Loft at 300 Market St. on Saturday at 9:14 a.m. 

Burglar alarm sounded at 900 Lynnfield St., Apt. U-36 on Saturday at 6:36 a.m. Officer reports it was an accident.

Complaints 

Unwanted person who refuses to leave was reported at 24 Daventry Court on Friday at 1:08 p.m. No further details provided.

Resident of 20 Lakeview Drive reported youths in neighborhood playing ding dong ditch on Friday at 9:07 p.m. Officer located these youths and told them to stop. All clear.

Suspicious auto reported at 200 King Rail Drive on Saturday at 12:51 a.m. Officer reported the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

Resident from Locksley Road reported loud music complaint. Officer spoke with parties and peace restored on Saturday at 4:29 p.m.

Resident called for noise complaint on Melody Lane on Saturday at 7:44 p.m. Officer dispatched and peace restored. Resident called again at 10:02 p.m. for party. Officer asked partygoers to keep it down. 

Motorist reported broken down vehicle at the bottom of the Exit 43 northbound ramp on Saturday at 11:10 p.m. Officer dispatched to assist. Tow company arrived and removed car.

Medical Aid

Uber driver reported customer passed out in the car on Saturday at Lynnfield Middle School at 505 Main St. on Saturday at 1:56 a.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Ambulance requested on Friday at 10:20 a.m. at 1102 Essex Village. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.

Medical rescue call received from King Rail Reserve Golf Course at 600 Heather Drive on Friday at 10:46 a.m. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.

Sagamore Spring Golf Club at 1287 Main St. requested an ambulance on Friday at 11:40 a.m. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.

Medical alarm company requested at 203 Ross Drive on Friday at 9:30 p.m. for a person with an ankle cut with serious bleeding. Lynnfield Fire Department took the patient to Union Hospital in Lynn. 

Medical aid request for an elderly female not feeling well on Saturday at 5:56 a.m. at 405 Ross Drive. Patient taken to the hospital.

Non-emergency transportation requested at Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St., Apt. 213 on Saturday at 9:39 a.m. and at 11:55 a.m. at Apt. 104. Patient taken to Melrose/Wakefield Hospital.

MARBLEHEAD 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 5:50 p.m. Sunday on Hawkes Street; at 7:15 p.m. Sunday on Village Street.

A new driver reportedly went through the fence at 8:44 p.m. Sunday on Clifton Avenue. Police reported the fence was possibly owned by the temple. 

Complaints 

A report of a man harassing kayakers at 5:29 p.m. Sunday on Ocean Avenue.

PEABODY 

Arrests 

William J. Vasbinder, 38, of 15 Folly Pond Road, Beverly, was arrested on Sunday at 7:06 p.m. following a report of a man smashing lights with a crowbar at the Northshore Mall. He was charged with malicious destruction of property, attaching plates, operating a motor vehicle after revocation, possession of a Class A substance and larceny over $1,200. 

Joao Oliveira-Junior, 25, of 6 Berry St., was arrested following a motor vehicle stop at Central Street and Munroe Court on Monday at 1:12 a.m. He is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, failure to use care in starting, stopping, speeding. Car released to wife and friend after showing valid ID.

Accidents 

Motor vehicle crash into a building with injuries reported at Gregory’s Lounge at 50 Walnut St. on Sunday at 11:08 p.m. Phil’s Towing en route. Peabody Fire Department assessed the building and determined the housing inspector was not needed. 

Report of a motor vehicle crash with airbag deployment at 65 Russell St. on Monday at 8:12 a.m. Officer reports no injuries and Gaeta’s Tow en route.

Animal Control 

Neighbor’s loud barking dog reported on Sunday at 6:43 p.m. by the resident of 8 Briarwood Ave., Apt. 5. Animal control officer reports the dog was brought inside.

Complaints 

Report of an unwanted party might be trying to gain entry to 286 Newbury St., No. 48 from resident of No. 49 on Sunday at 3:03 p.m. Officer spoke to the owner and all parties have the OK to be there. 

Report of an unwanted customer at Sunrise Pizza at 134 Newbury St. on Sunday at 5 p.m. Officer reports party left prior to police arrival. 

NFI Group Home at 136 Washington St. reported money was stolen on Sunday at 5:22 p.m. Officer reports issue was resolved more than a week ago by staff. 

Disturbance reported at 3 Gwinnett Road on Sunday at 6:18 p.m. Officer checked and did not believe the music was too loud. 

A 911 caller from 1100 Crane Brook Way reported fireworks on Sunday at 9:07 p.m. Officer told the reporting party the fireworks are part of the city’s annual show.

Loud music complaint at Veterans Memorial Drive on Sunday at 10:22 p.m. Officer reports music was lowered prior to police arrival.

Plaza Motel at 125 Newbury St. reported a dispute between the parties in Rooms 40 and 32 on Monday at 10:37 a.m. The dispute was over property taken from one of the rooms after a copy of the hotel key was made. Officer reports all parties have left and will document.
