Accidents
A report of a car into a tree at 8:58 p.m. Friday on Stonybrook Road. Police reported the driver struck a tree that was already damaged from the storm. The car was stopped on Beacon Street.
Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 11:11 a.m. Friday on Gerald Road. A caller reported someone came to the house the previous day and left a flyer for a missing cat. He said it was the second time someone had come to the door randomly. Before, there had reportedly been a man looking through the windows and he had it on video. None of his neighbors recognized the man.
A report of a man taking photos at 12:37 p.m. Friday on Stramski Way. A caller reported there was a man hanging around and taking photos of them. He was later reportedly sitting in a chair by the garden with a baby stroller. Police reported there was nothing nefarious going on. The man was taking photos of his grandchildren and the other kids simply happened to be in the background.
A report of a dead turkey at 12:57 p.m. Friday on West Shore Drive. A caller reported that in the Waterside Cemetery near his property there was a dead turkey. He thought the turkey died during the recent microburst storm and was complaining that the decay smelled terrible. He was concerned that it was a health hazard to the children in the neighborhood who play outside and wanted it removed. He was told to contact DPW to have the animal removed.
A caller reported the fort was open and kids were playing inside at 5:24 p.m. Friday on Fort Sewall Lane. The caller was concerned that there wasn’t a person around who was responsible for the children. The gate was secured.
A caller reported hearing two small explosions coming from his neighbor’s house at 10:15 p.m. Friday on Evans Road Extension.
A report of suspicious activity at 1:53 a.m. Saturday on Tidewinds Terrace. A caller reported a car with a car door open. Police reported the car was resecured.
Suspicious activity was reported at 6:28 a.m. Saturday on Turner Road. A caller reported she noticed the door to the school was wide open while she passed by it on her walk. She thought she saw an older man walking around the property. She doesn’t think he went inside the school. Police reported everything appeared to be in order and no one was found inside the school or in the area. Work appeared to be going on inside the school and the door was held open by a piece of rope.
A caller reported an elderly man on a scooter in the middle of the road at 10:40 a.m. Saturday at Elm and Creesy streets. She was afraid he was going to get hit.
A caller reported at 2:45 p.m. Saturday on Chestnut Street that sometime in the past week, his truck was broken into and a change purse was taken.
Suspicious activity was reported at 3:11 p.m. Saturday on Sewall Street. An off-duty officer reported there was someone snooping around the property. Police reported the lower basement door of the property was open, which was later secured.
Theft
A report of a stolen bike at 9:34 p.m. Friday on Village Street. A man reported his daughter’s bike was stolen from the docks; at 12:34 a.m. Saturday on Front Street. A caller reported his bike was stolen from the Landing.
A caller reported at 7:45 a.m. Saturday on Martin Street that he suspected his rain guard was stolen from his car when it was in the driveway getting its windshield replaced. He suspected an employee stole it.

Shawn R. Blanchette, 41, of 49 Fulton St., Apt. 1, was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a family/household member and strangulation or suffocation at 3:25 p.m. Thursday.
Lucas Intrieri, 29, of 16 County St., was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 10:12 p.m. Thursday.
Robert Rapino, 18, of 19 Maple St., Lynnfield, was arrested and charged with carrying a firearm without a license and possession of a large capacity feeding device at 10:58 a.m. Friday.

Markhenry Mbahmi Kamga, 34, of 17 Abbott St., Apt. 2, Bradford, was summoned for operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 9:36 p.m. Thursday.

A disturbance was reported at 9:07 p.m. Thursday at Maddy’s Car Wash at 300 Andover St. A caller reported cars in the lot were causing a disturbance. Police advised the youths to stop.
A caller reported a dog was barking for the past hour at 2:16 a.m. Friday at Neves and Son Landscaping at 201 Lowell St. Police reported it appeared two dogs were barking and howling in the yard, but they weren’t getting an answer at the two doors. The information was forwarded to the animal control officer for further follow-up.
Suspicious activity was reported at 11:50 a.m. Friday at 21 Ravenwood Road. A caller reported seeing an unkempt man who was not known in the area.
A Manor Drive caller reported excessive barking from a dog on Elizabeth Lane at 12:20 p.m. Friday. Police reported a notice of complaint and a copy of the barking ordinance was sent to the homeowner at 26 Elizabeth Lane.
A report of an intoxicated person at 12:21 p.m. Friday at 100 Main St. A passing motorist reported a possible overdose in the street, but police reported the person was intoxicated and had not overdosed. He was taken to Salem Hospital.
A dog in distress in a car was reported at 2:20 p.m. Friday at Metro PCS at 75 Main St. Police reported the car wasn’t found.
