Man from 111 Foster St., Apt. 304 reports possible assault on Wednesday at 6:53 p.m. Party said a Hispanic man has been hanging around outside drinking and harassing the residents. He is described as about 35 years old, with a thin build and may live in the building. Caller said he will notify police when he is seen again.
Officer observed a man approach several customers entering Central Street Liquors at 17 Central St. on Wednesday at 7:10 p.m. Officer spoke to the store clerk who said the man demanded $5. The man, Mr. Smith, has been banned from other establishments in the city due to his behavior. The clerk said Smith has been harassing customers for money. Officer advised the clerk to contact police if Smith is an issue. Officer spoke to Smith and dropped him off at the group home at 63 Andover St. and told staff of the incident.

Caller reported a 40- to 50-year-old Hispanic man wearing a blue shirt and baseball cap asking patrons for money in the ice cream line at Down River Ice Cream on Andover Street on Wednesday at 9:58 p.m. Officer spoke with the man and advised him he was not welcome. Officer also spoke with the caller and they will work on a keep-out order.
