Sean Bell, 39, of 16 Murphy Avenue, was arrested and charged with violating an abuse prevention order and Class A drug possession at 10:01 p.m. on Saturday.

Daniel Buckley Jr., 45, of 22 Nicholson St., was arrested and charged with Class A drug possession at 7:36 p.m. on Saturday.

Juan Lopez Niz, 23, of 191 Washington St., was arrested and charged with operating under the influence, leaving the scene of property damage and reckless operation of a motor vehicle at 8:16 p.m. on Saturday.

Donald Murphy, 57, was arrested and charged with an open container violation at 3:35 p.m. on Saturday. 

Ledvin Niz-Lopez, 20, of 358 Eastern Avenue, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation at 4:39 a.m. on Saturday. 



A report of a hit and run motor vehicle crash at 312 Union St. at 12:10 a.m. on Saturday; a report of a motor vehicle crash with injury at Chestnut Street and Western Avenue at 2:51 p.m. on Saturday; a report of a motor vehicle crash with injury at Chestnut and Jefferson streets at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday; a report of a hit and run accident at Boston Street and Winnepurkit Avenue at 11:12 a.m. on Sunday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 62 Lowell St. at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday; at Centre Street and Market Square at 3:52 p.m. on Saturday; at Market Basket at 3:18 p.m. on Saturday; at New Ocean and Ocean streets at 7:28 p.m. on Saturday.



A report of an assault on Central Avenue at 1:20 a.m. on Saturday; a fight reported at Euphoria Nightclub, 130 Union St., at 1:53 p.m. on Sunday.



A report of larceny at 112 Broad St. at 5:31 p.m. on Saturday; a larceny reported at 22 Warren St. at 8:19 p.m. on Saturday.



A fire alarm received from 36 Elizabeth St. at 10:18 a.m. on Saturday; at 870 Western Ave. at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday.




Jeffrey Emil Evangelista, 53, of 35 Lawndale Road, Stoneham, was arrested following a report of a suspicious man at MarketStreet on Friday at 2:31 p.m. and charged with three counts of secret sexual surveillance.  



Report of a motor vehicle crash with injuries on Saturday at 11:28 a.m. at 767 Walnut St. and 6 Gianna Drive. Lynnfield Fire Department reports patient refused medical assistance. 

Minor motor vehicle crash reported on Main Street on Saturday at 3:17 p.m. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange. 

Report of a minor motor vehicle crash on Sunday at 6:07 p.m. at 9 Longbow Circle. Officer reports no injuries.



Three 911 hangup calls were received from Kelly Jeep Chrysler Plymouth at 353 North Broadway on Saturday at 9:11 a.m. Officer reports the calls were accidental by a contractor.



Caller reported youths operating dirt bike at 3 Cortland and 9 Apple Hill lanes on Friday at 2:55 p.m. Officer spoke with several teens on private property and reminded them about safety.

Motor vehicle fire reported on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. at Loui’s Pizza at 470 South Broadway. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department. 

Suspicious person reported at 10 Kings Road on Sunday at 8:59 p.m. Caller said someone was on their property and wanted it checked out. Officer reports all is clear.

Caller reported a suspicious white, four-door sedan at 22 Grey Lane on Monday at 12:46 a.m. Caller said he does not know the vehicle and his dogs barked when it pulled up. Officer reports the man was visiting a home in the neighborhood.


Medical Aid

Ambulance requested on Green Street on Saturday at 12:29  p.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital.

Well-being check requested from Middleton Police Department about an unattended child left in the Market Basket parking lot on Saturday at 6:36 p.m. Police said plates belong to a Lynnfield resident. Officer went to the address but the car had not returned and the resident was unaware of the situation. He provided his ex-wife’s telephone number who sometimes drives that vehicle. Officer said report was unfounded.





A report of a motor vehicle accident at Atlantic Avenue and Rockaway Avenue at 2:56 p.m. Sunday. 



A caller reported a rental motor vehicle in a private lot with beer cans, liquor bottles, and glasses all around it at 9:17 a.m. Sunday. 

A caller reported he saw what he thought was a five-foot shark off of Devereux Beach outside the swimming buoys at 10:13 a.m. Sunday. 

A Village Street resident reported his neighbor parked in a bad place that makes it difficult to navigate out of his driveway at 11:06 p.m. Sunday. Police suggested the resident have the neighbor attempt to back out of the driveway to see how difficult it is. 

A caller reported a port-a-potty has been knocked over on Village Street at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. 

A caller reported kids frequently drinking and walking down Hillside Avenue with beer in their hands and being loud until about 2 a.m. 

A caller reported four teens on bicycles with backpacks in front of her house on Riverside Drive at 6:50 p.m. Sunday. The caller further reported that a kid was possibly in her garage. 

A caller on Farrell Court reported her neighbor’s cat has been out all day and she is concerned for the owner, who usually hears the cat cry and comes down to get it at 7:46 p.m. on Sunday. The caller said she knocked on the neighbor’s door and got no answer. 

An Ocean Avenue resident reported that her neighbor was playing loud music and she went over the house to ask to have the music turned down but the man told her to stay off the property at 10:20 p.m. on Sunday. The woman called back to say that her neighbor swore at her twice in the past and has now just given her the finger. 




A report of a motor vehicle accident at Oceanview Country Club on Willow Road at 10:28 p.m. Friday; on Winter Street at 9:03 p.m. on Saturday.



A caller reported a small light near the flagpole by the East Point lot that looks suspicious at 12:54 a.m. Friday. 

A landowner of Castle Rock stated that youths are on his property jumping into the ocean at 5:17 p.m. Friday. 

A caller reported his trash was not picked up on Wharf Street at 5:49 p.m. Friday. 

A caller reported youths riding bikes on the road weaving in and out of traffic at Nahant Road and Castle Road at 6:31 p.m. Friday. 

A caller reported a motor vehicle speeding at 60 miles per hour on Willow Road toward East Point at 6:39 p.m. Friday. 

A caller reported a dead animal on Curlew Beach on Willow Road at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. 

A caller reported two drunk men on DCR’s Long Beach at 1:05 p.m. on Saturday. Police report the men are not drunk. 

A report of a disorderly person at Tides Restaurant on Wilson Road at 3:50 p.m. Sunday. 

A report of a power outage on Christopher Drive at 9:17 p.m. Saturday; at 6 Cary St. at 9:17 p.m. Saturday; at 5 Cottage St. at 9:17 p.m. Saturday; on Winter Street at 9:17 p.m. Saturday; on maolis Road at 9:17 p.m. Saturday; at 300 Nahant Rd. at 9:17 p.m. Saturday. National Grid was notified. 




Nancy Deatmar Dossantos of 132 Park St., North Reading was arrested following a motor vehicle crash at 261 Lowell St. on Friday at 1:10 p.m.


Timothy Griffen, 57, of 10 Bowditch Ave. was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at 7-Eleven at 100 Lynn St. on Friday at 2:18 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Officer reports the vehicle was released to a licensed operator. 

Brianna Sanchez, 26, of 5 Harrison Ave., Salem was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at Spinelli’s Function Facility at 10 Newbury St. on Friday at 2:39 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding  


A motor vehicle crash was reported at TD Banknorth at 31 Cross St. on Thursday at 5:49 p.m. Officer assisted with paperwork.

Two-car crash reported at Peabody Shell at 85 Lynnfield St. on Friday at 7:04 p.m. Operator called back to say they have exchanged paperwork and have left the gas station. 


Animal Control  

A dog was reported found on Lynn Street on Thursday at 5:13 p.m. Pet does not have a microchip. Officer will document and man agreed to hold onto the dog for the time being.

Caller from Cheesecake Factory at the Northshore Mall reported a dog is locked in a motor vehicle on Thursday at 10:52 p.m. Reporting party called back to say vehicle has left the mall parking lot. 

Report of a dog left alone inside a motor vehicle for 20 minutes at Dunkin’ Donuts at 527 Lowell St. with the windows open. Officer checked the area and the vehicle had left.



Report of a customer unwilling to pay for his food at Sonic Drive-In at 55 Newbury St. on Thursday at 9:07 p.m. Officer reports the customer left and an unknown person paid for the food. 

Breaking and entering reported from a plumbing truck at Vasiles Plumbing & Heating at 2 First Ave. on Friday at 7:43 a.m. and $6,000 worth of tools were stolen.
