The package was opened and it was about three kilograms, equivalent to 3,000 grams, of suspected cocaine, said Kmiec. It was a joint investigation, said Kmiec, with Lynn Police, state police, the Drug Enforcement Agency, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, and postal inspectors.
Suspicious package in Lynn leads to arrest of Worcester man
LYNN -- A suspicious package addressed to a Lynn home led to the arrest of a Worcester man for trafficking 3,000 grams of cocaine.
Juan Colon, 39, of 95 Chandler St., Worcester, was charged with trafficking more than 200 grams of a class B drug at 2:06 p.m. on Thursday. The arrest was made after a suspicious package, addressed to 171 Washington St., was intercepted by the post office, said Lynn Lt. Michael Kmiec.
