MARBLEHEAD — Quiet streets were shattered by gunfire Thursday night on Broughton Road.
At 9:33 p.m. police received a 911 about two or three shots fired. Minutes later a caller reported he and another person were shot at by four men on two mopeds who sped away.
No one was struck by the gunfire.
One of the suspects was wearing a gray Nike sweatshirt. No other details were available.
Police said they found gun casings at the scene. Investigators said it was not a random act.
