A caller reported that a U-Haul truck was on Humphrey Street and Glendale Road when it clipped a fire hydrant and popped his tire at 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday.

A caller reported a white Mercedes sedan with an older male in it, who appeared to be monitoring speed with a radar gun at Pond and Lime streets at 8:42 a.m. on Tuesday. They stated they felt it was suspicious. Responding officers reported the man was in fact hired by a company to conduct speed radar for a study.
A walk-in reported, at 2:54 p.m. on Tuesday, that there is a large shrub at Humphrey Street and Palmer Road that makes it difficult to make a turn on Humphrey Street.
A caller reported a car needed to be towed from Pleasant Street for the movie production. They said to bring it to the police station and Netflix would pay for the costs.
A caller reported at 4:34 p.m. on Tuesday that the Marblehead driving school has used her Batchelder Road driveway as a “turn around” for years. She stated she is concerned about the wearing of her driveway.
A caller reported a male walking down Blueberry Road and Peach Highlands shirtless, swearing and causing a disturbance at 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday.

Shawn C. Spaneas, 26, of 50 Warren St., Apt. 510, was arrested following a raid on Tuesday at 4:50 a.m. and charged with possession of a firearm in a felony, carrying a firearm without a license, two counts of improper storage of a firearm without a permit, possession of fireworks, and possession to distribute Class B drug.

Report of a dog locked in a motor vehicle with Massachusetts license plate 73KN60 with windows cracked, but the dog is panting and foaming at the mouth on Tuesday at 10:35 a.m. Animal control officer is on scene and will take the dog from the car. Pet taken to Borash Animal Hospital. Officer left a message on the phone on the dog’s collar.

An officer was requested at 40 Lynn St. to preserve the peace while defendant in a restraining order gathers belongings after plaintiff granted permission on Monday at 6:13 p.m. Defendant gathered two gym bags of clothing. He also took his laptop, a thumbdrive and a box of golf balls. Officer reports items gathered without incident.
Summons delivered to a resident of 54 Northend St. on Monday at 6:57 p.m.
Maple Street neighbors called on Monday at 7:16 p.m. about the well-being of an elderly neighbor who owns three dogs and they have not been seen for a while, nor has her trash been taken to the curb. Officer spoke with the neighbor and all is well with her and pets.
Report of a suspicious white man with gray hair, coral shirt who is repeatedly approaching children near 2 Spring Pond Road and 272 Lynn St. on Monday at 8:39 p.m. Officer checked two motor vehicles in the area that were parked near the water treatment plant. Officer spoke with a group of kids at the school who said that had seen the man in a floral shirt by the bridge. Officer checked all areas and the party was gone.
Officer was flagged down by someone concerned about people living in a tent behind the William A. Welch Sr. Elementary School on Swampscott Street on Monday at 9:53 p.m. Officer checked the area and spoke with the party who said she will leave and make other arrangements.
Resident at 11R North Central St. reports she found a bike in her yard a few days ago and does not know who it belongs to so she put it on the street and it is gone on Monday at 10:18 p.m. She later received a telephone call from her babysitter saying a drunk man showed up at the residence and is demanding his bike back. Caller requested an officer to check on their babysitter and her child. Officer spoke with sitter and checked the area but the man was gone.
Report from 26 Johnson Ave. of a suspicious man wearing an orange T-shirt and jeans walking with a flashlight looking down people’s driveways toward Maple Street on Monday at 9:42 p.m. Officer spoke with the man who said he was looking for his lost cat.
Resident of 7200 Crane Brook Way reports a dispute in the parking lot between a man and a woman in the parking lot. The couple went into the apartment building. Caller did not leave her name on Monday at 10:39 p.m. Officer checked and all is in order.
Caller reported a BMW illegally parked in a handicapped space at Shaw’s Supermarket on Andover Street on Tuesday at 9:37 a.m. The reporting party called back and said the operator had an HP placard and forgot to put it up.
