LYNN — All this week, Americans have been treated to retrospectives of the day 50 years ago when man first walked on the moon.
Lynn Auditorium is showing the film on Sunday, July 21, the date Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon.
The acclaimed documentary film “Apollo 11: First Steps” will be shown on the big screen at Lynn Auditorium. Tickets, $5, will be available at the box office.
Timed to the 50th anniversary of NASA’s celebrated Apollo 11 mission, the film showcases the real-life moments of humankind’s first steps on the moon. “First Steps” features footage and interviews with Armstrong, Aldrin and Michael Collins, and the Mission Control team about the historic “one giant leap for mankind” lunar landing.
