MARBLEHEAD — Saturday Night in Marblehead coffeehouse at the Church of St. Andrew will present singer-songwriter Jim Trick July 20. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the music begins at 8.
Trick, a Marblehead resident, will deliver a blend of alternative folk, pop and spoken word. Influenced by Neil Finn, Bruce Cockburn, John Gorka and Charles Bukowski, he supports his lyrics with skillful playing of the acoustic guitar.
A frequent guest lecturer at Berklee College of Music, Trick performs regularly at such iconic venues as Club Passim, the me&thee coffeehouse, Berklee’s Cafe 939 and the New Moon Coffeehouse. As a touring member of Banding People Together, Trick travels all over the United States using music and behavioral science to help companies create collaborative strategies and improve leadership.
Admission is $15, payable at the door. Saturday Night in Marblehead is located at the Church of St. Andrew, 135 Lafayette St., near the Salem line, and is handicapped accessible.
