Price Rite Marketplace presents $57,737 check to food bank

Price Rite Marketplace employees, including those from the Lynn and Revere stores, presented a check for $57,737 to representatives from The Greater Boston Food Bank from funds raised during the supermarket’s annual Check-Out Hunger fundraising campaign. 

Last November and December, Price Rite Marketplace stores in nine states collected donations at checkout, raising more than $190,000 for food banks. Shoppers contributed to The Greater Boston Food Bank at stores in Lynn, Revere,  Brockton, Chicopee, Fall River, Hyde Park, New Bedford, Pittsfield, Seekonk, Springfield, Stoughton, Swansea, West Springfield, Westfield and Worcester.
