A caller reported he observed the operator and passenger of a landscaping truck passing a “weed joint” back and forth while driving down Pleasant Street and Ocean Avenue at 11:33 a.m. on Wednesday.
A caller reported a huge pothole at Atlantic Avenue and Bubier Road. He stated it was a hazard and thought it may knock a tire off. Responding officers reported the pothole was in fact a hazard.
A walk-in reported at 4:49 p.m. on Wednesday that she locked her bike on a rack on Atlantic Avenue and when she returned it was gone.
A caller reported at 5:06 p.m. on Wednesday from Atlantic Avenue that her boss was talking oddly, going slow, and didn’t know what time it was. First responders arrived to the scene at 5:12 p.m. and transported him.
A caller reported at 5:25 p.m. on Wednesday that her Farrell Court neighbor is “purposely planting obnoxious smelling weed plants” to make her sick. She stated she had to get more allergy medication to account for the neighbor’s new plants. She was advised to contact the Housing Authority.
A caller reported at 8:11 p.m. on Wednesday that four bikes were riding in and out of traffic at Ocean and Atlantic avenues and she feared they were going to get hit by a car. A second caller reported at 8:27 p.m. that the group of teenagers was now playing chicken in and out of traffic. Responding officers reported nothing found.
A caller reported at 8:49 p.m. that the neighbors behind her Bennett Road house had a huge bonfire and she feared it may light the trees on fire.
A caller reported a woman slumped over on the sidewalk at Pond and Orne streets with a “sketchy” male with her at 12:18 a.m. on Thursday. Responding officers spoke with the female who claimed she was staying at Hillside at her boyfriend’s house. First responders transported her to a hospital and police units went looking for the described male party who was with her.

If spotted leaving, the operator will be cited for leaving the car unattended.
Caller reported a small, white dog running loose near Peabody Tile & Countertops at 55 Main St. on Tuesday at 9:02 p.m. Officer reports she has the dog and dropped it off at Borash Veterinary Clinic on Prospect Street. Owner from 5 Park St. called to reports his dog missing and was told to call Borash in the morning.
Animal control officer mailed a $100 citation to Kelley Guillette, 33 St. Anns Ave. on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. for Cody, a Pit Bull mix, who is unlicensed, unvaccinated, and unrestrained on July 8.
Caller from the Tannery Apartments at 50 Warren St., Apt. 318 complained on Wednesday at 9:27 a.m. that her next-door neighbor’s male cat sprays and she can smell it and wants the neighbor to have pet neutered. The animal control officer advised caller the city lacks the authority to force someone to neuter their animal. She was advised to tell the property managers, since they allow the neighbor to keep intact animals. She stated she has and they won’t do anything about it.
Animal control officer issued a warning and mailed a license application to Elvira Diaz, at 5 Silver Leaf Way, Apt. 535 on Wednesday at 11:40 a.m. She will have one week to license her 6-month-old French Bulldog, Mars.
Family dog bitten by another dog on July 4 reported on Wednesday at 12:02 p.m. at 17 Waselchuk Drive. Both dogs are up to date on vaccinations, neither resides in Peabody. The biting dog, Raina, is an 8-year-old, black, female Labrador Retriever, is from Rhode Island. Animal control officer left a voicemail for owner in North Providence requesting Raina be quarantined.

Report of an erratic operator in a dark gray Toyota Corolla headed eastbound on Main Street approaching Washington Street on Tuesday at 5:16 p.m. Officer spoke with the operator who said he was not feeling well from lack of food and his wife is en route to pick him up.
Call about as many as 10 teens walking down Warren Street toward Central Street being loud and unruly on Tuesday at 8:03 p.m. Officer checked the area and all is OK.
Disabled white minivan reported near the basketball court on Forest Street on Tuesday at 8:07 p.m. Owner called for a tow truck.
Report from 150 Main St. about parties drinking outside and possibly fighting on Tuesday at 9:44 p.m. Officer arrived and no one was fighting. Parties were not causing any problems but the property manager wants them off the property and they have been sent on their way.
Group of people in parking lot at New Life Cuts at 150 Main St. reported causing a disturbance on Wednesday at 1:05 p.m. The woman who reported the incident refused to cooperate and the parties left without incident.
An employee from Fox Pest Control came into the station on Allens Lane on Wednesday at 8:59 a.m. to register for permission to go door to door.
Caller stated that his two vehicles were illegally towed from Boston by Pinto Recycling at 147 Summit St. on Wednesday at 9:26 p.m. He tried to speak with the employees of the business and was told the vehicle had already been scrapped. Officer reports the incident happened in East Boston and the reporting party is going to Boston to file a report.
Resident of 111 Main St., Apt. 3 reports someone pried her door open when not home, and some items damaged, nothing missing on Wednesday at 9:46 a.m.
Illegal dumping reported at Cedar Pond Village at 1100 Salem St. on Wednesday at 10:51 p.m. Jerry Bourke told dispatcher he will meet officer at the guard station where the action was caught on tape. Officer reports a motor vehicle with Massachusetts license plate 8RP381 is seen dumping a mattress and a sofa. Officer made contact with the suspect and the matter has been resolved.
Group from Powers Home Remodeling came into the police station on Allens Lane to register to solicit in the city on Wednesday at 1:03 p.m. The company was given permission.
A 2003 black Dodge Durango reported on fire at Logan Express at 164 Newbury St. on Wednesday at 1:52 p.m. No one was in the vehicle. Officer closed the entrance. Massachusetts State Police took control of the scene because it is owned by the Massachusetts Port Authority.
