Arrests 

Ann Bresnahan, 58, of 100 Willow St., was arrested on a warrant charge of disorderly conduct at 10:09 p.m. Friday. 

Janzel Delacruz, 23, of 7 Holten St., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at 3:56 a.m. Saturday. 

Joseph Donato, 33, of 52 Beach St., was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise and carrying a dangerous weapon at 10:19 p.m. Saturday. 

Davia Gunderman, of 25 Bowler St., Apt. 1, was arrested on warrant charges of OUI drugs and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 6:16 a.m. Saturday.

Michael McNeil was arrested on a warrant charge of shoplifting by asportation at 3:20 p.m. Friday. 

Fermin Romero-Lopez, of 3 Kingsley Terrace, was arrested on warrant charges of OUI liquor, alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, state highway traffic violation and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 10:29 p.m. Saturday. 

Edward Soriano, 24, of 163 Lewis St., was arrested and charged with two counts of malicious wanton property defacement, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at 11:29 a.m. Saturday. 

Ramon Zapata, 29, of 2 Brightwood Terrace, was arrested and charged with Class B drug possession and violation of the city knife ordinance at 3:06 a.m. Sunday.

MARBLEHEAD 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 8:24 a.m. Friday on Front Street; at 4:43 p.m. Saturday on Ocean Avenue.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 11:22 a.m. Saturday at West Shore Drive and Pequot Road.

Complaints 

A report of a cat in a tree at 1:45 p.m. Friday on Batchelder Road. The caller was given some options about how to handle the situation, including a suggestion to call the fire department.

A report of an odd text message received at 3:33 p.m. Friday on Stonybrook Road. A woman reported receiving a text message about a woman wanting sex. She said it was a group text and two other people texted who were 12 years old. 

A report of a missing child at 5:57 p.m. Friday on Mechanic Street. A mother reported she couldn’t find her 11-year-old son. Police checked Gas House Beach. The harbormaster checked the area and later checked along the rocks by Gerry Island near Fort Sewall. The harbormaster spoke to some boaters and they reported seeing a kid swimming alone who fit the description between Gerry Island and Brown’s Island about an hour earlier. The Salem harbormaster later responded. The child was found on Surf Street. 

A report of a disturbance at 11:50 p.m. Friday on Rowland Street. A caller reported two males were arguing loudly in the street and later inside a home. She thought they were physically fighting, but couldn’t see them. She said they must be fighting because they were “shaking the whole house.” Police reported there wasn’t a disturbance.

Lightning reportedly struck a Gregory Street home at 5:43 p.m. Saturday. 

Lightning reportedly struck Abbot Hall on Washington Street at 5:47 p.m. Saturday. Police reported all clear at Abbot Hall. 

A caller reported something strange happened the other night at 6:39 p.m. Saturday on Evans Road. She had a friend install air conditioners in her home and while they were at 4th of July festivities, she noticed when she came home, the air conditioner was taken out of the window. It was unplugged and the shades were up. There was nothing missing from the home and nothing else appeared amiss, but she wanted to let police know what happened.  

Theft 

A report of a stolen bicycle valued at $400 at 6:12 p.m. Friday on Devereux Street. The bike was reportedly taken from the driveway. 

NAHANT 

Arrest 

Stanislav Priftakis, 27, of 62 Castle Road, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at 8:58 p.m. Wednesday. 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 12:02 p.m. Wednesday at Nahant Rotary on the Causeway; at 2:48 p.m. Wednesday on Castle Road; at 5:51 p.m. Thursday on Flash Road; at 6:50 p.m. Friday at Nahant Rotary on the Causeway.

Complaints 

A caller at an undisclosed location reported someone was sitting in her car making people nervous because she was staring at them at 11:25 a.m. Tuesday.

A report of suspicious activity at 3:41 p.m. Tuesday at Dunkin’ Donuts on Wilson Road. A caller reported a man was sitting in a white Mercedes staring at the girls coming from and going to the beach. 

A caller reported a woman with two aggressive dogs in the Tot Lot Playground on the Causeway scaring his children at 9:53 p.m. Tuesday. State Police cleared the lot because the park closes at dusk. The two aggressive Chihuahuas were moved along. 

A Pearl Road caller at 12:48 p.m. Wednesday reported the lattice on her front porch was damaged while she was away and opossums were getting in.

A caller reported his neighbor had kayaks leaning on his fence at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday on Willow Road. Police reported it was a civil matter

A report of suspicious activity at 8:37 p.m. Wednesday at DCR entrance lot/Long Beach on the Causeway. An officer reported the call was about a man giving away money. Police reported the man was conducting a social experiment. 

Suspicious activity was reported at 5:49 p.m. Thursday on Spring Road. A caller reported a car drove onto her property. She confronted the driver and he fled. 

A caller reported kids were jumping off of Castle Rock at 6:04 p.m. Thursday on Nahant Road. Police reported the kids were removed from the rocks. 

Theft 

A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 9:36 p.m. Wednesday at Nahant Police Department on Nahant Road. A caller reported an email scam; at 11:59 a.m. Friday on Greystone Road. A caller reported she left an iPad in her car for a short time and returned to find it gone. 

PEABODY 

Arrests 

Deandre Joseph, 21, of 10 Kahler Ave., Apt. 2, Milton, was arrested and charged with two counts of disguise to obstruct justice, disturbing the peace, motor vehicle breaking and entering for a misdemeanor, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and number plate violation to conceal ID at 9:53 p.m. Thursday. 

Katya Lemus, 36, of 57 Fairview Ave., Malden, was arrested on a warrant at 5:49 p.m. Wednesday. 

Summons 

Austin N. Addonizio, 23, of 18 Intervale Ave., was summoned for leaving the scene, OUI liquor and Class B drug possession at 1:38 a.m. Thursday. 

Adilson Desousa, 57, of 55 Fulton St., Apt. 1F, was summoned for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop/yield at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday. 

Albert M. Garbarino, 55, of 15 Lynde St., Salem, was summoned for two counts of unregistered motor vehicle and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday. 

David George Stankiewicz, 38, of 6 Bartholomew Terrace, was summoned for Class A drug possession at 6:14 p.m. Thursday. 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday at Sprint Spectrum at 232 Andover St.; at 6:58 a.m. Friday at Northeast Nursery at 234 Newbury St. 

A two-car crash was reported at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday at 2 Sheldon Road and 20 Margin St. Adilson Desousa was cited. 

A report of a car into a tree at 1:38 a.m. Thursday at 614 Lowell St. A man was found behind a Lowell Street home severely injured and was taken to Salem Hospital. Austin N. Addonizio, 23, was summoned for OUI liquor and leaving the scene. 

Breaking and Entering 

A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 3:17 p.m. Wednesday at 4 Essex Lane. A bottle of perfume was taken from the unlocked car.

A motor vehicle breaking and entering was reported at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday at 3133 Avalon Drive. About $600 worth of tools were taken from a truck.

A motor vehicle breaking and entering was reported at 7:48 p.m. Wednesday at 7 Keys Drive. A caller reported $20 was missing from the glove box. 

A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 9:53 p.m. Thursday at 68 Gardner St. A caller reported an unknown man was inside his car. The man, Deandre Joseph, was arrested. 

Complaints 

A report of suspicious activity at 9:08 p.m. Wednesday at 22 Buford Road. A caller reported video footage showed a suspicious man, possibly armed, came to her door earlier that night. Police reviewed the footage and reported there was no gun. 

Suspicious activity was reported at 11:20 a.m. Thursday at 65 Glen Drive and 157 Russell St. A man with a toolbelt but no tools was reportedly going from door to door. The man was told he needed to check in with the police station and stopped for the day. 

A report of suspicious activity was reported at 4:24 p.m. Thursday at 40 Gardner St. A caller reported three teenagers were drinking inside the car. 

Suspicious activity was reported at 8:34 p.m. Thursday at 10 Harris St. A caller reported an elderly man claiming to be a police officer approached his family about the party they were having and told him the music was too loud. Police reported the issue was resolved. 

A report of suspicious activity at 12:57 a.m. Friday at 18 Keys Drive. A caller reported two cars with the trunks open. Police reported everything was in order and the trunks were secured.
