Arrests

Vanessa Dasilva, 25, of 24 Annabel St., Dorchester, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at 11:54 p.m. on Thursday.

Joseph McMeo, 43, of 95 Hammond St., Boston, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, trespassing, and resisting arrest at 7:01 p.m. on Thursday.

Kevin Mendez, 20, of 29 Rock Ave., was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of property damage at 1:12 a.m. on Friday.

A report of vandalism to a motor vehicle at 81 Broad St. at 11:28 p.m. on Thursday; at 107 Timson St. at 12:02 a.m. on Friday.

Alarms 

A 911 hangup call was received from 19 Fairview Ave. on Wednesday at 2:18 p.m. Officer reports it was an accident by a child playing with the telephone. 

Abandoned 911 call from 5 Cortland Lane on Wednesday at 8:48 p.m. Officer spoke with residents and all was OK.

Security company called in burglar alarm for Sagamore Spring Golf Club at 1287 Main St. on Thursday at 4:45 a.m. Officer reports the alarm was accidental alarm. All is OK.

Security company called in a burglar alarm at the Lynnfield Middle School at 505 Main St. on Thursday at 6:51 a.m. Officer dispatched, investigated and all is OK.

Burglar alarm canceled by the security company for 1 Spearfields Lane on Thursday at 10:18 a.m.

Accidental burglar alarm reported at 12 Fernway on Thursday at 3:09 p.m. officer reports house is secure.

False burglar alarm at Lynnfield High School at 275 Essex St. on Thursday at 11:03 p.m. 

Complaints

Caller reported a suspicious person is sitting on the lawn at 10 Trickett Road on Wednesday at 9:10 a.m. Officer reports the person is a contractor.

Suspicious person reported spraying something on the lawn at Wildwood Drive and Lantern Lane on Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. Officers checked the area and unable to locate anyone.

Report of a gas odor in the home at 41 Locksley Road on Wednesday at 1:24 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department. 

Resident of 19 Olde Towne Road reported solicitor going to door to door on Wednesday at 1:26 p.m. Officer spoke with party from pest control company who said he has a state peddlers permit, he was referred to Town Hall for a local permit. 

A 911 call reported a disabled auto at 782 Salem St. at 505 Broadway impeding traffic on Route 129 near Donovan’s Liquors on Wednesday at 6:03 p.m. Officers dispatched who helped motorist move vehicle into safe location and advised to call AAA. 

Wakefield Police Department reported they had a Lynnfield resident’s wallet on Wednesday at 6:13 p.m. Officer was dispatched to resident’s house to inform him. Resident was aware.

Resident of 19 Locust St. reported domestic incident on Wednesday at 7:17 p.m. Officer reports party was removed from the home under own will. 

Wires down reported by a 911 call about a large tree that fell and struck power wires in the Lynnfield Common area on Wednesday at 9:38 p.m. Officer dispatched and Reading Municipal Light and the Department of Public Works contacted and dispatched. 

Received call for fireworks from residents near Lara Lane on Wednesday at 9:57 p.m. Officer located party and shut down the fireworks for the night.

Party called 911 for suspicious person in the yard at 13 Canterbury Road on Wednesday at 11:27 p.m. Officers were dispatched, located the party and sent him on his way.

MarketStreet security reported a suspicious vehicle in parking lot behind Gaslight at 100 Market St. on Thursday at 12:18 a.m. Officers could not locate vehicle.       

A 911 call from motorist who said he struck a cone in the Route 1 underpass and it’s in the middle of the road causing a hazard on Thursday at 3:09 a.m. Officer could not locate the cone. 

Medical Aid 

Ambulance requested at Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St., Apt. 104 on Wednesday at 2:49 p.m. Patient taken to Salem Hospital.

Medical aid requested at 6 Grey Lane on Wednesday at 6:26 p.m. Resident called 911 for lift assist possible medical aid for elderly person who fell after recent hip surgery. Rescue dispatched but patient refused the ambulance. 

Ambulance requested at 6 Grey Lane on Thursday at 9:48 a.m. Patient taken to Melrose/Wakefield Hospital.

Accidents

A caller reported a minor motor vehicle crash at Ocean and Atlantic avenues at 1:19 p.m. on Thursday.

Complaints

A caller reported a drunk male was banging on her Barnard Street door and then laid down on the sidewalk at 12 a.m. on Thursday. Responding officers transported the male to his parents’ house.

A caller reported a loud party on Bayview Road at 12:43 a.m. on Thursday. Responding officers advised them to quiet it down.

A caller reported “loud Latin music” being played by a group in front of the pavilion on Ocean Avenue at 1:41 p.m. on Thursday. Responding officers reported the music was at a reasonable volume. 

A caller reported a male in his 20s was unconscious on the beach at Doliber Cove at 3:34 p.m. on Thursday. They stated they carried him up to Beacon and Norman streets. First responders transported the male to North Shore Medical Center.

A caller reported from Atlantic Avenue at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday that she couldn’t find her car and she asked dispatch why they towed her car. She was advised no cars were towed at that time. Responding officers reported her too impaired to drive and they transported her home.

A caller reported at 10:14 p.m. on Thursday that she went out with a friend to Gerry Island to watch the fireworks and they became stranded. The harbormaster picked them up at 10:43 p.m. and brought them home.

PEABODY 

Arrests 

Francisco Quinonez, 37, of 19 Eutaw St., Apt. 1, East Boston, was arrested on Monday at 5:29 p.m. for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to signal following a traffic stop at 20 Newbury and 200 Lake streets.

Nicole Armstrong, 27, homeless, was arrested on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at East End Veterans Memorial Park at 45 Walnut St. following a report of a woman screaming that she wants to die. She faces charges of disorderly conduct, possession of class C and E drugs, and resisting arrest. She was taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center and released and brought to the police station.

Summons

Fabiana DaSilva, 30, was summoned following a motor vehicle stop on Wallis Street on Monday 4:30 p.m. for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 

Fabio Ferreira, 33, of 56 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Leominster, was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at 2 Holten and 115 Main streets on Tuesday at 2:21 p.m. for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. The vehicle was towed by Mallia’s Towing.

Accidents

Motor vehicle crash into a wall reported at 56 Washington and 5 Aborn streets on Monday at 4:24 p.m. Officer will document no injuries and vehicle towed by Mallia’s Towing. 

Report of a motor vehicle crash on Monday at 5:40 p.m. at 37 Walnut and 20 Wallis streets. Officer reports no injuries, both vehicles towed by Mallia’s Towing.

Motor vehicle crash reported at 7-Eleven on Lowell Street on Monday at 9:01 p.m. Officer reports incident was minor and parties exchanged paperwork.

Caller reports she struck a street sign at 63 Central and 2 Tremont streets on Tuesday at 12:12 p.m. Officer reports the Department of Public Works was notified for sign replacement. 

Hit and run crash reported on Tuesday at 12:23 p.m. from Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates at 2 Essex St. 

Animal Control

Woman walked into the police station on Allens Lane with a stray golden Retriever named Maggie on Monday at 3:55 p.m. The dog’s owner was located.

Caller reports barking dog on a front porch on Union Street on Tuesday at 7:15 a.m. Animal control officer reported the owner contacted her boyfriend who forgot to let the dogs in. He will be leaving work and at the location in an hour. 

Aviv Estates at Woodbridge at 240 Lynnfield St. reports dog locked in a car on Tuesday at 9:14 a.m. Officer spoke to the reporting party. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.

Staff of Northeast Veterinary Hospital at 29 Lowell St. reports a stray, brown male PitBull was brought to their office on Tuesday at 10:44 a.m. Animal taken to Borash Veterinary Clinic.

Caller reported she saw a parakeet-type bird in her yard at 30 Livingston Drive on Tuesday at 1:57 p.m. Animal control officer said there was no answer on callback. Message was left requesting status of bird.

Complaints

Caller reports a very fat man in all black is soliciting for money in the vicinity of Dunkin’ Donuts at 3 Central St. on Monday at 4:09 p.m. Reporting party said they did not wish to give the person money as he did not appear hungry. Officer reports the man was gone upon arrival. 

Clerk at Extended Stay America at 200 Jubilee Drive reported an unwanted guest on Monday at 5:14 p.m. Employee called back to say she believes the person left. Officer reports the subject’s vehicle is gone from the property.

Caller from Overlook Trail reported loud music from a green Honda Civic car at Jeol USA parking lot at 10 Dearborn Road on Monday at 8:55 p.m. Officers located a green BMW and all is quiet at this time.

Report of a pedestrian who jumped on his car and damaged the sunroof at Peabody Bread at 168 Main St. on Tuesday at 11:43 a.m. Officer checking for suspects and reports finding the pedestrians involved. The suspect suffers from mental illness and guardian will have him evaluated. Officer will document the damage.

An unwanted person was reported at the Mentor Network at 9 Centennial Drive on Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. Officer stated there were no threats. The man was taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center by Atlantic Ambulance to be evaluated.

Caller from Murray Masonry & More at 100R Lynn St. reported a vehicle was vandalized on Tuesday at 10:48 a.m. They have a picture of a suspect vehicle next to the damaged vehicle, and a landlord will be able to supply surveillance video.

Reports of several cars illegally parked under no parking signs at Lynnfield Street and Casco Road, and one is blocking a driveway on Tuesday at 11:06 a.m. Officer reports one vehicle left upon his arrival, no other significant issues. 

Caller from 4 Aborn St. reports her parents and a neighbor are having a dispute about their fence on Tuesday at 1:39 p.m. The officer spoke with all parties involved and they were told to stay away from each other.

Barbara from North Shore Elder Service was told by a neighbor that money may have been taken from the residence on Eastman Park on Tuesday at 3:01 p.m. The resident is in the hospital. The officer stated that there was no one home.
