LYNN — Two men were arrested on drug trafficking charges following a Tuesday morning drug raid where police seized a large amount of heroin, cocaine and marijuana from their Beacon Hill Avenue apartment, state police said.
Irvine McConney Jr., 22, and Alex Poisson, 18, of 21 Beacon Hill Ave., were charged with heroin trafficking, and crack cocaine and marijuana possession with intent to distribute.
Troopers from the State Police Gang Unit, State Police Tactical Operations (STOP) Team and Attorney General’s office, along with Lynn Police detectives executed a search warrant at the apartment and seized 55 grams of heroin, 14 grams of cocaine and 183 grams of marijuana, state police said.
Suspected heroin was found inside a sneaker, which was packaged in a plastic bag, and suspected crack cocaine was found in a plastic bag on a shelf above the sneaker, along with other plastic bags cut in a manner consistent with packaging of drugs for street-level sale, state police said.
Two bags of suspected marijuana were found inside a dresser, and drug paraphernalia, including a digital scale with white powder on it, a knife, scissors and a box of plastic sandwich bags were found on another dresser, state police said.
