A car vs. a scooter motor vehicle crash was reported at 8:41 p.m. Friday on Goldthwait Road. A caller reported the victim was a 9-year-old. One person was taken to Salem Hospital.
Complaints
A caller reported a black Cadillac at the lights in front of her with a male driver smoking a joint at 6:21 p.m. Friday at Smith and Pleasant streets. She said he was swerving back and forth.
A report of noisy neighbors at 10:05 a.m. Saturday on Gerry Street. A caller reported her neighbors often entertain and are often out of the porch, which sometimes wakes her up in the middle of the night. One time, her daughter asked the neighbors if they would quiet down and was told off with an expletive. The caller said they are reluctant to call the police station because last time they did, they could hear a police officer say “go easy on them” as they were walking around the house to speak with the residents. The caller was told to call each time there was an incident.
Theft
A report of motor vehicle theft at 5:12 p.m. Saturday on Washington Street. A caller reported her friend was using her car without permission and refused to return it. Police reported the car was returned without incident.
