Arrests 

Elijah Barton, 24, of 21 Alice Ave., was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, marked lanes violation and drug possession with intent to distribute at 5:49 p.m. Wednesday. 

Michael Graham, 36, of 21A South St., was arrested on warrant charges of breaking and entering for a misdemeanor and receiving stolen property at 6:29 a.m. Thursday. 

Ruben Holguin, 32, of 102 Grove St., was arrested and charged with nighttime breaking and entering for a felony at 1:51 a.m. Thursday. 

Damien Reid, 34, of 501 Washington St., was arrested and charged with interfering with a police officer at 12:33 a.m. Thursday. 

Fremio Santana, of 65 Mt. Pleasant St., was arrested on warrant charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop/yield and failure to wear a seat belt at 6:01 p.m. Wednesday. 

Nicholas Torres, 21, of 209 Tinkham St., Apt. 1, New Bedford, was arrested and charged with assault and battery in the presence of a police officer and resisting arrest at 4:41 p.m. Wednesday. 

Joseph Weiner, 24, of 209 Tinkham St., New Bedford, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and violation of the city knife ordinance at 4:44 p.m. Wednesday.

Arrest

Paul Robert Nilson, 28, of  96 Chestnut St., Apt. 1, Everett, was arrested on an out-of-town warrant following a traffic stop on Salem Street on Wednesday at 9:37 a.m.     

Alarms 

Accidental burglar alarm sounded at PTC Therapeutics at 6 Kimball Lane on Wednesday at 8:31 a.m. 

A 911 call was received from 17 Grayland Road on Wednesday at 2:02 p.m. Officer reports all is OK.

False burglar alarm sounded at 6 Stagecoach Lane on Wednesday at 2:05 p.m. Officer confirmed it was an accident. 

Caller reported a fire alarm at 292 Salem St. on Wednesday at 4:40 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Security company canceled the burglar alarm at 3 Pyburn Road on Wednesday at 6:39 p.m. 

Canceled burglar alarm at Windsor Estates, 527 Salem St. on Thursday at 7:22 a.m.

Complaints

Debris in roadway reported at Salem Street and Hidden Valley Road on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. Officer reports services rendered.

Caller reported being locked out of a motor vehicle at 10 Kimball Lane on Wednesday at 1:21 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Suspicious person reported at 232 Salem St. on Wednesday at 1:35 p.m. No details provided.

Caller reported a truck is stuck on Shady Hook Lane on Wednesday at 1:49 p.m. Officer reports vehicle made it out of the street.

A report of larceny on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at 4 Bellevue Island. Officer investigated. No details provided.

Disabled auto reported on Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. at Route 128 North at Exit 43. Call referred to the Massachusetts State Police.

Report of a motor vehicle parked on the wrong side of Highland Avenue on Wednesday at 5:48 p.m. Officer issued a ticket. 

Caller reported two all-terrain vehicles and a dirt bike are racing around the Townsend Road neighborhood on Wednesday at 6:17 p.m. Officer checked the area and was unable to locate the vehicles. 

Report of a suspicious white van with Massachusetts license plate no. 8MP761 on Wednesday at 6:36 p.m. Officer reports the operator was looking for Boston Clear Water.

Medical Aid

Ambulance request at 930 Salem St. on Wednesday at 12:53 p.m. Lynnfield Fire Department reported patient refused assistance.

Ambulance requested for 16 Pinecrest Ave. on Wednesday at 1:28 p.m. Patient taken to the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington. 

Request for an ambulance at Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. on Wednesday at 2:57 p.m. Patient taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. 

Ambulance requested at 26 Lockwood Road on Wednesday at 3:28 p.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital in Lynn. 

Caller requested a well-being check for a woman walking in the tunnel at 462 South Broadway and 771 Salem St. on Wednesday at 4 p.m. Officer checked and could not find anyone. 

Medical aid requested at 500 Ross Drive on Wednesday at 6:48 p.m. Lynnfield Fire Department reports patient taken to Union Hospital in Lynn. 

Lahey Health Center at 1350 market St. requested an ambulance on Wednesday at 7:24 p.m. Patient taken to the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington. 

Well-being check requested for a woman motorist who may need help at 449 Summer and 11 Walnut streets on Wednesday at 8:45 p.m. Officer reports the woman was lost and sent on her way.

MARBLEHEAD

Arrest

Wesley Carter, 30, of 26 Boston St., Salem, was arrested on a non-Marblehead warrant at 2:17 p.m. on Wednesday.

Complaints

A caller reported an oversized truck in the area of Washington Street at 8:41 a.m. on Wednesday. At 8:47 a.m., the MBTA called and said they had two buses stuck. By 8:50 a.m., the buses were no longer stuck.

At 10 a.m. on Wednesday, a caller reported that a hawk was standing on a sidewalk near Calumet Lane and West Shore Drive. They were advised that animal control does not handle wildlife. At 10:10 a.m., multiple calls came in of residents who were concerned for the bird standing there. One caller stated people were getting out of their cars to take photos and were jamming up traffic. By 10:25 a.m., the hawk was off the road.

A caller reported at 10:33 a.m. on Wednesday that they saw a person drive up to a barrel at Smith Street, near the railroad, and dump a large black trash bag into it.

A caller reported she was almost hit by a vehicle while crossing the road at Lafayette and Humphrey streets at 6:12 p.m. on Wednesday. When she confronted the driver, she stated he told her “it was all her fault.”

A caller reported at 6:21 p.m. on Wednesday that three kids were riding around on bikes in her Hammond Place backyard and they destroyed her fence. At 6:33 p.m., the mother of one of the kids called and stated the woman started chasing after the kids in her car and accused them of knocking over her fence when it was already on the ground. Responding officers spoke with both parties.

A caller reported at 10:09 p.m. on Wednesday that a “completely naked” male party sunk a skiff and was attempting to get out of another skiff. They stated they believed the male was drunk. Responding officers took the male into protective custody.

PEABODY 

Summons 

Rafael Romero, 20, of 275 Chatham St., Apt. 2L, Lynn, was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at the Big Y Plaza at Russell and 637 Lowell streets on Wednesday at 5:46 p.m. for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and for an uncovered/unsecured load. On call tow truck could not handle the vehicle. Operator was allowed to leave the car parked on Lowell Street.

John Kennedy, 31, of 32 Chestnut St., Apt. 1, was summoned for malicious destruction of property over $1,200 on Thursday at 12:14 p.m. following a report of vandalism. Officers checked the property and said a door is broken. They checked the interior and reported no one was inside. The Criminal Investigation Unit was requested for photos.

Accidents

Minor motor vehicle crash reported at 480 Lowell St. on Thursday at 11:03 a.m. 

Report of a minor motor vehicle crash on Thursday at 11:13 a.m. at 465 Lowell St. at 2 Norwich Road. Officer reports parties will get a private tow, no injuries. 

Animal Control 

Stray cat reported trapped at 12 Castle Circle on Thursday at 12:33 p.m. and its injured partner ran away. On callback, the reporting party said the two cats are secure, and the injured cat has received treatment.

Report from the resident of 6 Mansfield St. who said her neighbor’s dog is always loose on Thursday at 12:39 p.m.  No answer on callback. Animal control officer left message requesting more information.

Caller reports youths on bicycles riding into cars on Sewall Street on Wednesday at 5:29 p.m.  Officer checked the area.

Walk-in reported vandalism at 10 Moulton Road on Wednesday at 6:44 p.m. Officer to document.

Caller reports an aggressive group of youths on bicycles at 12 Margaret Road on Wednesday at 8:05 p.m. Officer reports he spoke to the reporting party and two of the youths.

Neighborhood dispute at 15 Paleologos St. on Wednesday at 9:15 p.m. Neighbor called to report a backhoe being operated in the yard. Officer reports the machine was shut off for the night.

Report of a minor motor vehicle crash on Wednesday at 7:03 p.m. at 243 Washington St. at 1 Allens Lane. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

Caller reported being followed by a coyote at Margin Street and Westview Circle on Thursday at 12:59 a.m. Officers checked the area but the animal was gone upon arrival.

An employee of the Salem Country Club reported a vehicle has been in the parking lot for several days on Thursday at 7:53 a.m. Officer reports the vehicle is on private property and the club will handle the matter themselves.

Rowley Police Department requested a well-being check on Jamie Stanley, 33, of 266 Newbury St., Apt. 42 on Thursday at 8:35 a.m. Officer reached the woman, she is fine and will call the Rowley police. 

Peabody Fire Department requested assistance at 5 Keys Drive to help with a lockout from a black Honda with a toddler inside the vehicle on Thursday at 8:46 p.m. Officer reports firefighters on scene and left.

Motorist reported he was behind a truck that was heading downtown and appeared that a load of pipes in the rear of the vehicle had shifted and may fall out on Thursday at 10:29 a.m. at 136 Lowell and 2 King streets. The information was given to all units. Officer stopped the vehicle on Main Street and spoke with the driver who said he has an alarm system that would notify him if the load shifted. Officer said the load appeared secure.

Noel Carrasquillo Diaz Junior, 25, of 232 Seaver St., Dorchester, was arrested and charged with larceny over $1,200, receiving stolen property over $1,200, unlawful possession of a theft detection device deactivator or remover, and organized retail crime. 

Rashayna Shantel Seney, 26, of 60 Bridle Path Circle, Apt. 706, Randolph, was arrested and charged with larceny over $1,200, receiving stolen property over $1,200, organized retail crime, and unlawful possession of a theft detection device deactivator or remover. 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at the Fox Hill Bridge at 10 p.m. Wednesday. 

Complaints

A caller reported having issues with his neighbor driving over his front lawn and breaking his solar lights and fence at 8 Bailey Ave. at 12:14 p.m. Wednesday. 

A report of suspicious activity around the dumpster on 1160 Broadway at 12:09 a.m. Thursday. 

Theft

A report of shoplifting from DSW at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday. 

SWAMPSCOTT

Arrests

Meghan Salamida, 20, was arrested and charged with assault, assault with a dangerous weapon, and destruction of property at 2:32 a.m. on Wednesday.

Nicole Ramsden, 25, was arrested and charged with a marked lanes violation, failure to stop or yield, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and operating under the influence of liquor at 1:38 a.m. on Thursday.
