MARBLEHEAD

Complaints

A report of a groundhog in a trap at 8:42 a.m. Sunday on Brimblecomb Avenue. A caller reported a neighbor trapped a groundhog in a trap and didn’t believe the person should be trapping. Animal Control was notified.

A well-being check was performed at 1:06 p.m. Sunday on Front Street because a male teenager was sitting on the rocks with his head down. The caller said the teen didn’t appear distraught, but didn’t look right. Police reported the teen had an argument with his girlfriend so he was sitting on the rocks thinking.

A school employee reported there was a construction vehicle parked in a way that was making it difficult for school drop-off at 7:39 a.m. Monday on Lime Street. She said that when she asked the person to move for 10 minutes, the person was “rude” to them.

Accidents

On Friday at 9:36 a.m., a walk-in reported a hit and run crash with property damage at the Elizabeth Green Library st 18 Summer St. Officer took report.

Caller reported a motor vehicle crash with no injuries on Friday at 2:58 p.m. on Condon Circle.

Officer stood by for paperwork exchange.

Motor vehicle crash reported with injury at Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. on Friday at 4:05 p.m. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.

Report of a motor vehicle crash with injury on Saturday at 5:17 p.m. at Route 128 South at Exit 43. Patient take to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.

Complaints

Lahey Health at 1350 Market St. called to report a person refuses to leave on Friday at 5:05 p.m.                    

Caller from 50 Vokes terrace reported 12-year-old son will not listen to his mother on Friday at 5:29 p.m. Officer reports child taken to North Shore Children’s Hospital.

Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle at 79  Perry Ave. was reported on Saturday at 7:23 a.m. Officer reports nothing was stolen.

Report of loud music on Barnsley Road on Saturday at 1:48 a.m. Officer reports resident has shut down music.

Motor vehicle breaking and entering reported on Saturday at 10:04 a.m. at 86 Perry Ave. Officer took report.

Larceny reported at 296 Edgemere Road on Saturday at 11:49 a.m. Report taken, no further details provided.

Caller from 75 Perry Ave. At 10:10 a.m. reported breaking and entering of her motor vehicle overnight. A pair of binoculars were stolen. No officer required. Log entry only.

Saugus Police Department called to report one of their officers saw an erratic pedestrian crossing the median by the Route 1 turn around on Saturday at 1:45 p.m.  Officers dispatched Massachusetts State Police notified. Area checked but no pedestrian was found.

Caller reported a young child not wearing a helmet on motorbike on Grove St. on Saturday at 12:44 p.m. Officer dispatched but no one was found.

Caller from 250 Walnut St. reported their mailbox was damaged overnight on Sunday at 8:46 a.m. Officer reports mailbox was moved, not damaged, street sign was knocked down and the Department of Public Works has been notified.

Suspicious auto reported on Fairview Avenue on Sunday at 3:07 p.m. Caller said the silver Honda has been seen in the neighborhood for three days. Extra patrols requested.

Medical Aid

A 911 caller reported a woman feeling stroke-like symptoms at 1060 Main St. on Saturday at 12:36 p.m. First responders dispatched to scene. EMS evaluated patient on scene but patient refused treatment.

Lahey Health at 1350 Market St. requested an ambulance on Saturday at 3:21 p.m. Massachusetts State Police reported the accident occurred one mile prior to Walnut St. Patient taken to North Shore Children’s Hospital.

PEABODY

Summons

Niki S. Mouzithra, of 106 Lynn St., was summoned on Monday at 9:30 a.m. for operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle on a public way following a parking enforcement action at 10 Maple St. Vehicle was towed by Phil’s Towing.

Corey Lamont Griffith, 47, of 243 Broadway, Apt. G-9, Cambridge was summoned on Monday at 9:40 a.m. following a complaint from Peabody Check Cashing at 15 Main St. about a fake check. He is charged with forgery, uttering, and larceny over $1,200.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at Macy’s at the Northshore Mall on Sunday at 3:09 p.m. Officer reports parties exchanged paperwork.

Hit and run crash between a small, light bluer van and an MBTA bus was reported at Northshore Road on Sunday at 7:21 p.m. Bus is continuing on its route per request of the T and officer was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

A two-car motor vehicle crash with no injuries was reported at 2 Lynnfield and 287 Washington streets on Sunday at 10:53 p.m. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

Complaints

A report of a disturbance at the Mobile Estates at 286 Newbury St. on Sunday at 6:42 p.m. Caller said her boyfriend is being loud and causing a disturbance. He is not violent, she said, and is not directing his anger at anyone in particular, he is just out of control. Officer reports the man is drunk and an ambulance was requested for detox to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Peabody.

Margaret Conley, a 74-year-old woman from Bourbon Street, was reported missing on Monday at 8:18 a.m. She was last seen wearing a red shirt and pants, she has advanced Alzheimer’s Disease. Officers checked Dunkin’ Donuts, Speedway, CVS, pike path in Danvers, the high school, area hospitals. She was found on Meadowview Road. Officer called for an ambulance, but she refused medical attention and was taken home. Atlantic Ambulance was later called and she was taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

Arrests

Robert S. Perkins, 48, of 17 Manor Dr. Apt. C, Groveland, was arrested on warrant charges.

Joseph M. Ladish, 40, of 14 San Jose Terrace, Stoneham, was arrested on warrant charges and shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 194 Lincoln Ave. at 4:44 p.m. Friday; at 317 Lincoln Ave. at 6:23 p.m. Friday; at 227 Walnut St. at 1:43 p.m. Saturday; at 83 Main St. at 6:12 p.m. Sunday; at 180 Main St. at 7:44 p.m. Sunday; at Patty’s Auto Parts on Salem Turnpike at 9:24 p.m. Sunday.

A caller at 317 Lincoln Ave. reported a vehicle took a wrong turn and was hanging off a cliff on the property at 6:23 p.m. Friday.

A report of a tree blocking Claremont Road at 4:18 a.m. Friday.

A report of a counterfeit bill received at Saugus Center Convenience Store at 12:21 p.m.

A report of a disabled motor vehicle propped up on a box on the northbound side of Route 1 at 1:48 p.m. Friday.

A report of a man stealing lights from 173 Main St. at 3:49 p.m. Friday.

A caller reported someone was about to steal their glasses and one of their shoes at Roller World Inc. at 9:08 p.m. Friday. The caller’s grandmother apologized that her grandson called 911 over the matter.

A report of wires down at Vine and Talbot Streets at 9:43 a.m. Saturday.

A report of a black BMW speeding in the area of Viking Road at 10:41 p.m. Saturday.

A caller reported that her father was assaulted by an unknown person in a black BMW who sprayed him in the eyes with some type of substance at 12:01 a.m. Sunday.

A manager at CVS reported that two customers were acting suspicious at 5:23 p.m. Sunday. They dropped a bag of white powder and asked the cashier if she wanted it. The cashier gave it to the manager. The item was collected and will be forwarded to an evidence officer.

Theft

A report of shoplifting at Walmart on Broadway at 770 Broadway at 10:36 p.m. Friday; at Target on Lynn Fells Parkway at 5:01 p.m. Saturday.
