Issa Y. Shahin, 50, of 19 Redberry Lane, was summoned on Friday at 12:10 a.m. following a motor vehicle crash into a brick wall and the yard at 2 Otter Pond Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and a marked lanes violation. Gaeta’s Towing notified.


Caller reported a motor vehicle crash with a minor injury on Route 128 South at Exit 43 on Thursday at 8:26 a.m. Incident booked by the Massachusetts State Police. The Lynnfield Fire Department reported the patient refused an ambulance.

Motor vehicle crash reported with injury at Route 128 at Exit 41 on Friday at 7:39 a.m. Call referred to the Massachusetts State Police and Wakefield Police Department.

Report of a motor vehicle crash at 380 Salem St. on Friday at 9:10 a.m. Officer rook report.


Accidental alarm reported at 6 Stagecoach Lane on Thursday at 12:34 p.m.

Security company canceled a burglar alarm at 9 Mohawk Lane on Thursday at 3:06 p.m.

Caller reported fire alarm has sounded at 2 Bryant St. on Thursday at 3:15 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.      

Problem with a fire alarm reported at 33 Beechwood Road on Thursday at 8:03 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.               

Fire alarm reported on Friday at 12:18 a.m. at 6 Doncaster Road. Call referred to the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Report of a fire alarm at 50 Locksley Road on Friday at 1:18 a.m. Call referred to the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Animal Control

Report of a dog left in a motor vehicle at Lahey Health at 1350 Market St. on Thursday at 2:31 p.m. Dispatch reports the animal control officer has been notified.


Report from Haywood Farm Lane about a suspicious man with a clipboard walking round on Thursday at 12:29 p.m. Officer checked the area but was unable to locate.

Suspicious person reported at the Center Golf Club at 165 Summer St. on Thursday at 4:18 p.m. Officer reports the call was unfounded.

Summons served in hand to a family member at 687 Main St. on Thursday at 7:33 p.m.

Report of a strange person passing in front of his home at 57 Lynnbrook Road on Thursday at 9:49 p.m. Officer reports person go upon arrival.

Medical Aid

Ambulance requested at Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. on Thursday at 1:18 p.m. Officer reports patient taken to Winchester Hospital.

Caller from United Parcel Service on Kimball Lane reported a person has cut the tips of their fingers off on Friday at 9:04 a.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Property Check

Property check at the Huckleberry Hill School at 5 Knoll Road on Thursday at 9 p.m.



A caller reported their car was struck while it was parked on Pleasant Street at 9:19 a.m. on Thursday.


A caller reported at 9:02 a.m. on Thursday that she was almost hit in the crosswalk near CVS Pharmacy at Commercial Street and Atlantic Avenue. She stated the male driver had to swerve around her and there are no speed limit signs in the area. She stated she “didn’t feel like getting a broken leg.”

A caller, from a bank on Pleasant Street, called to report someone yelling and causing a disturbance at 4:29 p.m. on Thursday. They stated the person refused to leave but when responding officers arrived the person was gone on arrival.

A caller reported at 2:57 a.m. on Friday that she heard what she believed was a gunshot. She stated she thought it was a shotgun, as she used to work at a gun store. Responding officers found nothing in the area.



Frank Reynaldo Mejia Jr., 24, of 4 Sanborn St., Apt. 1, was arrested on Thursday at 1:49 p.m. following a traffic stop at 161 Main St. and 2 Eagan Place for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.


Marie Brianna Cosgro, 22, of 42 Washington St., was summoned on Wednesday at 6:07 p.m. following a report from a manager at Macy’s at the Northshore Mall that the store clerk admitted to theft. She is charged with larceny under $1,200 and has been banned from the mall for one year.

Lucy Boro Teodoro, 41, no address given, was summoned on Thursday at 11:33 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop at 222 Newbury Motors for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Four Star Towing has towed the vehicle. Taxi has been called.

Alexander Oliveira, 21, no address given, was summoned on Thursday at 1:01 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop at the North Shore Bank at 32 Main St. for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.

Edison Pereira, 53, no address given, was summoned on Thursday at 1:01 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop at the North Shore Bank at 32 Main St. for allowing a driver with a revoked license to operate a motor vehicle.

Kadeem Ramone Dalley, 25, no address given, was summoned on Thursday at 1:44 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop at the Sports Collectibles at 14 Peabody Square for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and not having the registration.


A report of a motorcycle crash with injury on Wednesday at 7:58 p.m. at the Century House Restaurant at 235 Andover St. Mallia’s Towing en route. One party taken to Salem Hospital.

Hit and run crash reported on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. at Workout World at 216 Newbury St. Officer reports he will return to examine cameras because management was not on site to access equipment.

Animal Control

Resident reports she found a large German Shepherd mix dog that she is keeping in her backyard at 15 Paleologos on Wednesday at 4:13 p.m. The pet has a collar but not contact information. Caller said she will take the animal to a vet to see if has a chip, it did and dog is being returned to the owner.


Woman reported her ear buds were stolen on Wednesday at 4:26 p.m. at Alliance Health at Rosewood at 22 Johnson St. Officer will document.

Resident of 27 North Central St. reported her neighbor put dog feces in her mailbox on Wednesday at 7:17 p.m. Officer spoke with the reporting party who said she did not know who did it. There was a letter in the mailbox that asked her to stop allowing her dog to defecate in the yard.

Resident of 19 Samoset Road reports her neighbor recently died and he sees a suspicious man walking around the property on Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. and left in a gray General Motors pickup. Officer spoke with the reporting party and no further information is available.

Caller reports three men drinking in the gazebo at 10 Crowninshield St. on Wednesday at 5:24 p.m. Officer spoke with the parties who admitted they had smoked pot at the location which the officer could smell. Officer checked them for additional pot and they were advised smoking marijuana in public is an arrestable offense.

Ginger’s Closet at 110 Lynn St. reports a parked red pickup taking two spaces in front of the shop and a man sitting on her stoop on Wednesday at 8:02 p.m. Officer spoke with the party who said he is waiting to pick up his children.

Disturbance reported at 10 Holten St. on Thursday at 10:30 p.m. Officer reports it was a small gathering for a party and they agreed to take it inside for the night.

Suspicious motor vehicle in front of a home on Connors Road on Wednesday at 11:25 p.m. Officer reports the vehicle was legally parked.

Loud party with three or four men reported on Wednesday at 11:30 p.m. at Pierpont Park. Officer reports parties were sent on their way.

Tree down at 26 Augustus and 2 James streets on Thursday at 6:36 a.m. The Department of Public Works dropped off cones and the Tree Department has been contacted.

Unwanted guest reported at Walgreens at 229 Andover St. on Thursday at 10:16 a.m. Store reports a motor vehicle with New Hampshire plate no. 4074075 has been parked in the lot for 24 hours. Employee thinks someone may be living in the car. Officer spoke with the man and was told to move on, he works at Market Basket and was napping.

Man dressed in all black was reported exposing himself on the bike path on Thursday at 12:17 p.m. Officer could not locate anyone.
