Christopher Bergeron, of 1540 Broadway, was arrested on a warrant charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise at 11:23 p.m. Sunday.

Fabian Lopez Yoc, of 26 Beacon Hill Ave., was arrested on warrant charges of OUI liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop/yield and negligent operation of a motor vehicle at 1:40 a.m. Monday.

Victor Romero, 39, of 375 Boston St., was arrested and charged with trespassing, violation of the open container law, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at 3:40 p.m. Sunday.

Alarm company called about 500 Chestnut St. on Saturday at 11:14 a.m. Officer reports the building appears to be secure.

Accidental burglar alarm reported at 71 Stillman Road on Sunday at 8:59 a.m.

Security company reported an accidental burglar alarm on Sunday at 2:32 p.m. at 59 Mansfield Road.

Faulty fire detector reported at 8 Todd Lane on Sunday at 4:39 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.


Well-being check requested at 905 Main St. on Friday at 9:17 a.m. following an alarm. Office reports alarm was an accident.

Whole Foods Market at 100 Market reported a shoplifting incident on Friday at 10:55 a.m. Caller said party tried to steal hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise. Officers took report.

Caller from Pillings Pond Road reports vehicles are exceeding the speed limit on Friday at 3:20 p.m. and requested extra patrols.

Wires down reported at Thomas Road and Bancroft Street on Friday at 3:28 p.m. Officer reports Verizon notified.

Report of a vehicle parked on the sidewalk at 890 Summer St. on Friday at 8:33 p.m. Resident is concerned about possible accident. Resident called back to say vehicle has left. Officer canceled.   

Unwanted party reported at 465 Main St. on Saturday at 12:45 a.m. Caller said her boyfriend is at the house and refuses to leave.

Officer wanted at the Paper Store at 105 Market St. on Saturday at 2:59 p.m. about a customer taking pictures of women. Report taken.

Disabled auto reported on Moulton Drive, just off Route 1 on Saturday at 8:17 p.m. Officer reports no vehicle found.

Caller reported a manhole cover off on Summer Avenue on Sunday at 8:57 a.m. Officer put cones out and contacted the Department of Public Works.

Report of vehicle constantly parked facing the wrong direction on Sylvan Terrace on Sunday at 5:53 p.m. Request for extra patrols. Officer notified.

Medical Aid

Request for a well-being check at 607 Salem St. on Saturday at 12:23 a.m.

Request for an ambulance at 5 Townsend Road on Saturday at 3:03 a.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

The Yard House at 340 Market St. requested medical aid on Saturday at 1:28 p.m.

Caller from the Sagamore Spring Golf Club at 1287 Main St. requested an ambulance for a person with a rapid heart beat on Saturday at 3:01 p.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Caller reported a person choking at 3 Alexandra Road on Saturday at 3:37 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department. Patient refused treatment.

Caller from 8 Huntingdon Road reported an elderly man with low blood sugar needs an ambulance on Sunday at 1:25 p.m. Patient refused assistance.

Medical aid requested at 370 Main St. on Sunday at 8:02 p.m. for an 83-year-old man who has fallen and suffered cuts to his head. Patient taken to Winchester Hospital.

Atlantic Ambulance contacted from 1414 Main St. for an 89-year-old woman who is not feeling well on Sunday at 12:16 p.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 1:10 p.m. Friday at Gregory and Lindsey streets.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 5:18 p.m. Friday at Gregory Street and Catherine Lane. A caller reported he came outside to find front end damage to his parked car. A note was on the car that read “someone hit your car,” but there was no further information.

A motor vehicle hit and run crash was reported at 6:28 p.m. Friday at Norman and Beacon streets; at 10:47 a.m. Saturday on Pleasant Street.


A caller reported a stolen trash barrel at 7:49 a.m. Friday on Commercial Street.

A report of a man taking pictures of kids at 6:22 p.m. Friday on Broughton Road. A caller reported there was an older man in a Jeep taking pictures of children. When approached by an adult, the man reportedly drove away. Other witnesses said they thought he was taking pictures of the property and that he didn’t have any interaction with kids. Police reported the last incident they had with the man was nights ago — he had a tripod set up and was flamboyant, drawing attention to himself, wearing a sombrero and playing guitar. That time, the man wasn’t in a vehicle, but was on foot.

A caller reported a man in a green pickup truck was cursing at the drive-through window at 12:34 p.m. Saturday on Pleasant Street. A caller reported the man appeared to be upset that the bank was closed. The caller requested police respond, expressing concern that the man may do something.

Suspicious activity was reported at 10:47 p.m. Saturday at Cradleskid Lane and Beacon Street. A caller reported two people were inside a boat with flashlights and that they ducked when a car came by. She reported hearing a zipper being zipped. The owner told police nothing appeared to be missing.


A report of vandalism at 8:58 a.m. Sunday on Fort Sewall Lane. Vandalism to the restrooms at the park was reported.



Joseph M. Ladish, 40, of 286 Newbury St., Apt. 25, was arrested on a warrant on Friday at 5:25 p.m. and charged with three counts of passing a counterfeit bill.

Derek L. Smith, 48, of 63 Andover St., was arrested on Friday at 10:20 p.m. and charged with trespassing.

Melissa DeJesus, 40, of 15 Northern Ave., Lynn, was arrested on a warrant from Chelsea District Court on Lindauer Street following a traffic stop on Saturday 5:14 p.m. and charged with operating an uninsured and unregistered motor and failure to pay fines.


Denise M. Caldwell, 53, of 824 Roosevelt Trail, Apt. 169, Windam, Maine, was summoned on Saturday at 7:01 a.m. at 33 St. Anns Ave. and charged with larceny.

Cesar Nolasco, 33, of 86 Central St., Apt. 1, Lynn, was summoned on Sunday at 4:51 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop at Logan Express at 164 Newbury St. and charged with operating an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.

John Martin, 59, of 160 Au Bord Dulac Road, East Wakefield, N.H., was summoned on Monday at 12:57 p.m. after Hertz Corp. reported he failed to return a leased vehicle.


A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3:18 p.m. Friday at 2 Lynnfield and 287 Washington 39 St. with a possible argument on scene. Officer reports vehicles were gone upon arrival.

Caller reported a motor vehicle crash at 44 County St. and 1 Arnold Road. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

Minor motor vehicle crash reported on Friday at 4:06 p.m. on Andover Street. Officer checked the length of Andover to Sylvan streets and no sign of crash.

Hit and run crash reported at 7 Central St. on Saturday at 7:37 a.m. Officer reports rear damage to a vehicle while parked, no suspects.

Head-on motor vehicle crash was reported at the Peabody Fire Station at 601 Lowell St. on Saturday at 10:25 a.m. Officer reports road closed, no injuries, Gaeta’s Towing en route.

Motor vehicle crash with airbag deployment at Wilson Square on Saturday at 10:40 a.m. No injuries, Arrington Towing en route. Officer took owner operator to Buxton Lane.

Hit and run crash reported at 39 Catherine Drive on Saturday at 7:22 p.m. Officer reports a witness obtained the license plate of the suspect vehicle. Officer ran the plate number but was unable to find a match.

Motor vehicle crash with a head injury reported at 136 Lowell and 2 King streets on Saturday at 9 p.m. Both vehicles towed, one operator was taken to the hospital.

Report of a motor vehicle crash at 82 Lowell and 2 Perkins streets on Sunday at 1:40 p.m. Officer reports no injuries, one of the vehicles was towed by Mallia’s Towing and one operator was issued a warning for failure to yield.

Motor vehicle crash reported at Bancroft & Co. at 210 Andover St. on Sunday at 5:20 p.m. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

Report of a motor vehicle crash at 159 Lowell St. on Monday at 8 a.m. Officer reports the operator was taken to the police station and the vehicle was towed by Mallia’s Towing.

Animal Control

Black Husky reported loose on Saturday at 8:19 p.m. at 2 Pump Station Road. Animal control officer reports the animal was taken to Borash Animal Hospital.

Injured duck reported at Stonewood Tavern at 139 Lynnfield St. on Saturday at 9:17 p.m. Animal control officer located the duck behind the building and contacted the ASPCA in Boston who referred the city to Tufts Wildlife Clinic, which did not answer.

Black Boxer reported wandering in traffic on Herrick Road on Sunday at 7:20 p.m. Caller reported the dog may reside at 7 Manomet Road. Animal control officer reports the dog was reunited with its owner.

Turkeys fighting with a motor vehicle reported from 12 Page St. on Monday at 7:22 a.m. Officer reports turkeys were gone upon arrival.


Officer reported a Westford woman’s credit card was stolen at the Northshore Mall on Friday at 5:20 p.m.

Woman reported her purse was stolen at Sunoco at 144 Newbury St. on Friday at 7:03 p.m. Officer will document.

Possible intoxicated man reported walking up and down Blaney Avenue on Friday at 7:17 p.m. Officers checked the area and the Welch Elementary School and found no one.

Disturbance reported at the Charles Motel at 4 Mill St., Apt. 9 on Friday at 7:18 p.m. Officer said the report was unfounded, no fight, parties just talking.

Teen fight in progress at the rear of Peabody House on Friday at 8:55 p.m. Officers checked the area and found nothing.

Two suspicious men wearing white hoodies in a restricted area ducking in between vehicles at Audi Peabody at 252 Andover St. on Friday at 9:54 p.m. after closing time. Officer spotted the two men running through the woods and disappear.

Neighborhood dispute reported on Saturday at 261 Newbury St. at 8:36 a.m. Caller reported harassing text messages from a neighbor. Officer said the disagreement was over being loud at 2 a.m. Officer will document.

Caller reports his wallet was stolen at Andy’s Walnut Mart at 36 Walnut St. on Saturday at 9:55 a.m. Officer reports the suspect was confirmed as Adalberto Gonzalez, 42. The victim declined to press charges.

Resident and contractor dispute reported on Saturday at 12:55 p.m. Officer reports homeowner paid the contractors $100 each and they left without incident.

Woman from 4 Lowell St. Court reports someone put three nails into her car tire on Saturday at 2:54 p.m.

Dispute reported between a tow company and a motorist in the parking lot at 119 Foster St. on Saturday at 4:16 p.m. Officer reports deal was made with the tow truck operator and vehicle returned to owner.

Proctor Street resident reports loud music from a neighbor on Saturday at 10 p.m. Officer reports parties at 25 Proctor St. will lower the music.

Report from Maddy’s Car Wash at 300 Andover St. about several vehicles revving their engines and disturbing their neighbors on Saturday at 10:14 p.m.

Fight in progress reported at 2213 Crane Brook Way on Saturday at 11:15 p.m. by an anonymous caller. Officer reports the music was too loud and was turned down.

Suspicious activity reported at the Higgins Middle School on Perkins Street on Sunday at 2:53 p.m. Officer reports a person was taking bricks from the area and party was sent on her way.



Madison Haley Forsberg, 22, of 5 Wilkinson Drive, Newburyport, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Joann Corvino, 45, of 120 Vernon St. Apt. 2B, Wakefield, was arrested and charged with second offense of operating under the influence of liquor.
