Anonymous caller complained of barking dogs at 32 Surrey Lane on Thursday at 11:42 a.m. Animal control officer sent a $150 ticket and copy of the barking law to Linda Panniello at that address. Neither dog has been licensed, and their rabies vaccination status is unknown.
Tannery Apartments tenant at 16 Crowninshield St. reported people are allowing their dogs to use the bathroom in the condo property’s family play area on Thursday at 1:41 p.m. On callback, animal control officer said she lacks the authority to cite, because it is private property, condo bylaws are enforced by the board. Party was also directed to call the Parks Department about replacing signs in parks.
Caller left a voicemail on Thursday at 2:39 p.m. complaining about a neighbor on May Street who walks their dog off leash. No other information given. No answer on callback.

Caller did not want to pursue but said driver was continuing down Route 114 towards the Northshore Mall. Officer observed a Ford Focus on Route 114, no impeded operation.
Caller from Maple Village at 84 Aborn St., Apt. 1401 requested to speak to an officer about his grandmother who changed the locks on him and would not let him inside their apartment or allow him to retrieve his belongings on Wednesday at 5:41 p.m. Officer advised party this is a civil matter and he must go through Housing Court to resolve.
Fight in progress at Avalon at Cranebrook at 1000 Crane Brook Way on Wednesday at 9:03 p.m. Caller heard as many as four women having a loud verbal argument out of Building 1. Officers checked and all is quiet.
Caller heard breaking glass at the rear of her home at 7 Columbia Boulevard on Wednesday at 10:05 p.m. and is concerned because there’s a restraining order against her husband. Officers checked the area and there were no signs of broken glass and everything appears to be OK.
Report of a loud diesel truck idling for more than an hour and keeping the Jacobs Street neighborhood awake on Wednesday at 10:15 p.m. Reporting party called back to say now parties are yelling at each other. Officer assisted vehicle owner with backing the vehicle into his driveway.
Caller reports a tractor trailer off to the side of the road at 21 Caller St. and appears the driver is pouring an unknown substance down the storm drain on Thursday at 11:35 a.m. Officer reports truck being moved.
