Vincent Carrol, 61, of 607 Boylston St., Boston, was arrested on a warrant charge of operating under the influence of liquor and charged with being a fugitive from justice in court at 11:41 a.m. on Thursday.

Earl Ricker, 36, of 100 Lawrence Ave., Boston, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property worth less than $1,200 at 2:35 a.m. on Friday.

Simwenyi Robinson, 41, of 80 Sagamore St., was arrested on warrant charges of operator’s license revoked as a habitual traffic offender, a marked lanes violation, impeded operation, and charged with possession to distribute a class drug at 6:39 a.m. on Friday.

Schneider Sagesse, 28, was arrested on warrant charges of defrauding a restaurant, larceny under $1,200, receiving a stolen motor vehicle, and charged with breaking and entering for misdemeanor at 8:32 a.m. on Friday.

False burglar alarm reported on Thursday at 10:48 a.m. at 4 Stoneway. Officer spoke with resident and everything is OK.

Report of a burglar alarm on Thursday at 3:27 p.m. at 9 Magnolia Drive. Officer confirmed it was accidental.

Fire alarm reported at Gaslight at 1100 Market St. on Thursday at 6:33 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Accidental fire alarm at 140 Locksley Road on Thursday at 9:57 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.


Suspicious automobile reported at Jordan Park on Wildewood Drive on Thursday at 3:18 p.m. Officer reports unable to locate the vehicle.

Officer requested at 3 Archer Lane on Thursday at 4:42 p.m.

Caller said he is a resident of the group home and is not being treated properly. Officer reports party agreed to return to the home.

Caller reports kids are drinking behind his home at 164 Locksley Road on Thursday at 8:26 p.m. Officer checked the area and found nothing.  

Temazcal at 500 Market St. reported party refuses to leave on Thursday at 9:11 p.m. Officer reports party was taken home to Summer Street.

Property check requested at the Huckleberry Hill School on Knoll Road on Thursday at 9:39 p.m. All is OK.

Property check requested on Thursday at 10:51 p.m. at New Hall Park.   


The Peabody Police Department requested a well-being check on a resident at 495 Chestnut St. on Thursday at 10:03 a.m. Officer spoke with party everything is OK.

Ambulance requested at 704 Essex Village on Thursday at 10:25 a.m. for an elderly man with complaints of being hot, clammy and fainting. Patient taken to the hospital.



A walk-in reported a hit and run motor vehicle crash on Hawkes Street at 12:51 p.m. on Thursday.


A caller reported at 7:50 a.m. on Thursday that his next door neighbor on Marion Road has had an RV in his driveway for two or three years. He stated the RV blocks the sidewalk and sticks out into the street. Responding officers spoke with the RV owner and they agreed to move it.

A caller reported an aggressive driver on West Shore Drive at 9:23 a.m. on Thursday. She stated that on Wednesday afternoon her son was riding his bike near the Garden Center when a man honked aggressively at him.

A caller reported at 1:23 p.m. on Thursday that her mother received an attempted scam call from someone claiming to be from National Grid.

A caller reported at 1:32 p.m. on Thursday that she’s been getting harassing calls from someone trying to get her personal information and Social Security number.

A caller reported brown water in her home on Conant Road at 9:12 p.m. on Thursday.



William Decotis, 34, of 286 Newbury St., Apt. 87, was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at 126 Newbury St. at 8:48 p.m. for operating a vehicle after license suspension and receiving stolen property. The vehicle was towed by Mallia’s Towing.


Motor vehicle crash reported at 2 Mount Vernon St. and 92 Walnut St. on Wednesday at 6:08 p.m. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange and reports no injuries or tows.

Caller reports an erratic operator at 660 Lowell St. and Lake Street with Massachusetts license plate no. 2HCB61. Vehicle crashed into a parked car in front of 19 Roosevelt Ave. on Wednesday at 7:20 p.m.

Officer reports minor motor vehicle crash at 90 Central St. on Wednesday at 8:11 p.m. Parties exchanged paperwork.

Animal Control

Loose, medium-sized female dog with two collars reported inside Dan’s Autobody at 147 Summit St. on Wednesday at 4:17 p.m. Officer reports the dog is no longer at the shop.


Report of a 2017 Toyota RAV4 with Massachusetts license plate no. 3YH892 was blocking the driveway at 124 Foster St. on Wednesday at 4:21 p.m. Officer reports vehicle was moved prior to police arrival.

Nursing director at 400 Brooksby Village Drive requested an officer about a potential abuse situation on Wednesday  at 4:57 p.m. Family discovered a bruise on the involved person’s arm.

Parking complaints reported about an occupied blue vehicle parked on the grass at Symphony Park on Symphony Road on Wednesday at 5:08 p.m. Officer reports vehicle was moved without incident.

Needle on the ground reported on Ridgefield Avenue on Wednesday at 5:35 p.m. Officer removed the biohazard without incident.

Caller reports a livery vehicle blocking her driveway at 124 Foster St. on Wednesday at 5:38 p.m.  

Suspicious person reportedly rang the bell at 32 Highland St. on Wednesday at 6:58 p.m. and is standing on the front steps. Officer said the person is a roofing contractor trying to speak to the homeowner but they were not home.

Caller reports residents of the apartment building at Abbott and Aborn streets are putting carriages on the street to reserve their parking space on Wednesday at 10:27 p.m. Department of Public Works contacted to remove the carriages.

Report of a road rage incident on Route 1 North on Wednesday at 11:31 p.m. Call transferred to the Massachusetts State Police. One party got out of their car and kicked the other driver. They got back into their vehicles and stopped again on Route 114 in Danvers. Officers checked the area but the vehicles were gone upon arrival.

Loud noise reported coming from 21 Caller St., Apt. 207 on Thursday at 12:54 p.m. Officer said that the landlord was able to enter the apartment and lower the volume.
