Arrests

Corey O’Leary, 37, of 68 South St., was arrested on warrant charges of three counts of Class C drug possession, disorderly conduct, assault and battery, motor vehicle use without authority, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and arrestee furnishing false ID information at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Jessica Rossetti, of 5 High Rock St., was arrested on warrant charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and attempt to commit crime at 8:54 a.m. Wednesday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 1:48 p.m. Tuesday at Market Basket at 40 Federal St.; at 9:52 p.m. Tuesday on Hood Street.

LYNNFIELD

Summons

Edwin Maldonado, 41, of  202 Essex St., Lynn, was summoned after a motor vehicle stop at 360 Walnut St. and 1 Country Club Drive on Wednesday at 7:33 a.m. for operating a truck on an excluded way and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Alarms

False burglar alarm sounded on Tuesday at 8:58 a.m. at Post Office Square. Officer reports building is open for business.

Accidental fire alarm sounded at the Center Village Apartments on Main Street on Tuesday at 11:56 a.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Report of a burglar alarm on Tuesday at 1:48 p.m. at 2 Barnsley Road. Officer reports door was open, checked the interior and everything appeared in order, door secured.

A 911 hangup call was received from Lynnfield Middle School at 505 Main St. on Tuesday at 4:02 p.m. Officer checked school and found nothing.

Canceled burglar alarm received from Aronson Alarm Co. for 9 Driftwood Lane on Tuesday at 5:43 p.m.

Complaints

Officer removed a ladder from Route 128 South on Tuesday at 11:08 a.m. The Massachusetts State Police was notified.

Resident of 5 Willowby Way came into the station on Tuesday at 12:59 p.m. to report their unlocked vehicle was broken into overnight.

Medical

Medical rescue requested from 10 Kimball Lane on Tuesday at 8:06 a.m. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.

The Boston Sports Club at 425 Walnut St. requested an ambulance on Tuesday at 5:37 p.m.

Request for assistance at 686 Main St. on Tuesday at 10:31 a.m. for a broken oil burner and smoke in the house. Fire Department took the patient to Winchester Hospital.          

MARBLEHEAD

Accidents

Multiple callers reported a motor vehicle crash at Lafayette and Birch streets at 11:53 a.m. on Tuesday. Two people were transported to North Shore Medical Center.

Complaints

A caller reported a truck parked in the handicapped spot in front of Dunkin’ Donuts, Pleasant Street, at 8:04 a.m. on Tuesday. Responding officers found the driver of the truck was handicapped, he just didn’t have his placard.

A caller from Marblehead High School, on Humphrey Street, reported that a student’s car was vandalized at 1:32 p.m. on Tuesday.

A nail salon employee, on Pleasant Street, called to report at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday that he and his staff have been receiving suspicious/harassing phone calls the last few days.

A caller reported at 6:49 p.m. on Tuesday that she witnessed two male parties on her porch covering up her security camera. She stated she didn’t know who they were. Responding officers believed the two men were solicitors.

A caller reported an older male hitchhiking on Pleasant Street at 6:55 p.m. on Tuesday.

PEABODY

Arrest

Peter L. Croke, 57, of 108 Newbury St., Apt. 1409, Danvers, was arrested at Kappy’s Liquors at 175 Andover St. on Monday at 4:50 p.m. following a be on the lookout call from the Danvers Police Department for a silver Mitsubishi driven by a man in his 40s who appeared to be intoxicated and left the Kappy’s parking lot headed toward Route 114 in Peabody. He was charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle and operating under the influence of alcohol. Vehicle towed by Mallia’s Towing.

Summons

Thanh Nga Thi Pham, 55, of 1 Whitney Drive, was summoned on Monday at 11:17 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop at 2 Berry and 31 Warren streets for operating an uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle.

Accidents

Minor motor vehicle crash reported at JC Penney at 210 Andover St. at the Northshore Mall on Monday at 6:28 p.m. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange, no injuries or tows.

Hit and run crash reported at the Higgins Middle School at 85 Perkins St. on Tuesday at 8:41 a.m. Caller said vehicle struck the school’s metal gates and drove off.

Animal Control

Loose small dog, either a Chihuahua or a Mini Pinscher with a collar, was reported at 29 Kenwood Road at 24 Walsh Ave. on Monday at 6:02 p.m. Reporting party contacted the owners who are in the area searching, dog was last seen on Walsh Avenue.

Large black unattended dog reported at Caruso Court and Birch Street on Tuesday at 8:50 a.m. Officer reports dog has gone home.

Loose dog reported at 47 Walsh Ave. and 25 Roycroft Road on Tuesday at 9:08 p.m. Officer reports animal gone upon arrival.

Complaints

Caller from the Holiday Inn at 1 Newbury St. reports he found a small amount of a controlled substance in his Hertz rental car, a silver Ford Fusion, on Monday at 4:36 p.m. Caller notified Hertz who asked him to call police.

Road rage incident reported on Mason Street on Monday at 7:50 p.m. Caller said two people on mopeds tried to attack the operator of a gold sedan as he got out of his vehicle. Party got back inside the vehicle and fled towards Washington Street. Officer checked the area but was unable to locate parties.

Report of a loud stomping coming from a tenant at 2233 Avalon Drive on Monday at 8:58 p.m. Caller said the noise was in retaliation to a previous complaint made to management. Officers spoke with all parties who agreed to keep it down for the night. Meeting with management is scheduled for Tuesday.

Caller reports a woman hit her over the head and took his belongings at the Essex Center Drive on Monday at 5:37 p.m. She is described as wearing a red top and jeans and is running toward the Northshore Mall. Officer spoke with the reporting party who was standing next to a woman wearing a red top and jeans. He told police he did not call 911 and everything was OK.

Employee of TD Bank on Main Street reported she was threatened by a woman who lives in the area after refusing to share a cigarette with her on Monday at 5:37 p.m. Caller said she is concerned the woman will do something to her vehicle if she returns to work. Officer will document.

An unattended trailer was reported parked at the 7-Eleven on Main Street on Monday at 9:01 a.m. Officer reports owner was ticketed for leaving the vehicle for more than five minutes.

Corkscrew Liquors at 23 Central St. reports employee theft of lottery scratch tickets totaling more than $72,000 over the past year on Tuesday at 10:45 a.m. Officer documented incident and summoned the employee.

A caller reported the traffic lights at the entrance of Kmart on Main Street were out at 2:23 a.m. Monday.

A caller reported a man wearing a cast on his arm ran onto his deck and tried to steal a purse at 8:30 a.m. Monday.   

A report of stolen landscaping tools at 4 Felsmere Ave. at 9:33 a.m. Monday.

A caller reported finding a husky puppy on Lincoln Avenue at 1:09 p.m. Monday.

A report of an internet scam on Western Avenue at 3:57 p.m. Monday. A woman reported she responded to a Facebook post and sent an electronic deposit of $3,737.

A caller on Saugus Avenue reported someone rang her doorbell but she is too nervous to look outside at 11:18 p.m. Monday.

A report of loud music on Myrtle Street at 1:03 a.m. Tuesday.

A caller reported that someone tried to open an account under his name with Citi Bank at 9:46 a.m. Tuesday.

A report of a resident receiving annoying phone calls on Lynn Fells Parkway at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday.

A caller on Newhall Avenue reported her neighbor stole money from her apartment at 12:23 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of wires down on Clinton Avenue at 12:54 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of a piece of metal in the breakdown lane at Broadway and Osprey Road at 1:54 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of an elderly man on the Fox Hill Bridge who appears to be out of it at 1:27 p.m. Tuesday.

A Walnut Street resident reported a man cut through her yard at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday.

A caller on Apple Lane reported a raccoon attempted to attack her mother and a yorkie dog at 5:09 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of wires down at Harrison and Washington avenues at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday.
