Edward Carpenter, 53, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering for a misdemeanor at 8:13 p.m. Monday.

Gary Freeman, 23, of 9 Shepard St., was arrested and charged with armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, failure to stop for police, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle and speeding at 3:14 a.m. Tuesday.

Jonathan Simon, 26, of 100 Willow St., was arrested on warrant charges of two counts of disorderly conduct at 8:21 p.m. Monday.

Yohan Tomas-Nolasco, of 18 Ingalls St., was arrested on warrant charges of three counts of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of OUI liquor, possession of liquor by a person under 21 and leaving the scene of property damage at 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Ambulance requested at Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St., Apt. 116 on Monday at 12:53 p.m. Patient taken to Winchester Hospital.

Hit and run crash reported at Whole Foods Market at 100 Market St. on Monday at 6:20 p.m.  


Fire alarm reported on Monday at  12:35 p.m. at Center Market at 588 Main St. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Accidental burglar alarm on Monday at 3:08 p.m. at 21 Bluejay Road. Call canceled by the alarm company.

Aronson Alarm Co. reported burglar alarm sounded at 3 Sparhawk Drive on Monday at 6:06 p.m. Officer reports all appears to secure.


Party came into the station on Monday at 11 a.m. to report possible illegal activity on Williams Road.

Caller reported a woman was walking her dog on the tennis courts, boats were launched into Suntaug Lake on Oak Street, and a man was hitting golf balls into the lake on Monday at 12:06 p.m. Officer took report.

Case of fraud reported on Monday at 12:30 p.m. at 11 Homestead Road.

Lynnfield Fire Department reported a leaking gas can at 2 Sparhawk Drive on Monday at 1:03 p.m. Fire Department removed the can.

Property check requested on Monday at 5:16 p.m. at the Summer Street School at 262 Summer St. Parents were advised not to park in the fire lane. Officer checked person sitting in the grass in front of the school who said his vehicle had broken down and he was waiting for AAA.

Caller reported operator of a vehicle with Massachusetts license plate no. 4WD375 is driving erratically on Walnut Street on Monday at 6:20 p.m. Officers checked the area and vehicle was gone.

Employee of the The Paper Store at 105 Market St. reported a 40-year-old woman with blond hair appears to be intoxicated and is with a 10-year-old child on Monday at 8:04 p.m. Call canceled.

Property check requested at the Huckleberry Hill School at 5 Knoll Road on Monday at 8:48 p.m.

Well-being check requested at 15 Olde Towne Road on Monday at 3:18 p.m.



A caller reported a minor motor vehicle crash on Lafayette Street at 7:59 a.m. on Monday; on Water Street at 2:14 p.m. on Monday.

A caller reported she side-swiped a vehicle on Maple Street at 8:38 a.m. on Monday. She stated she left a note on the car and wanted the police department to be aware.


A caller reported a student left the Bell School, on Baldwin Road, at 8:52 a.m. on Monday. They stated the kid was wearing Batman pajama pants and no shoes. Two faculty members left to find the student at 9:01 a.m. and located the kid at 9:04 a.m., with a police escort back to the school; at 11:17 a.m. on Monday, a faculty member from the school called back and said the same student left the school again. At 11:20 a.m., faculty members surrounded the student who managed to climb a fence into a pumping station. Responding officers called National Grid to get them on scene and cut the lock with bolt cutters. By 11:40 a.m., faculty had the student.

A caller reported she was watching a house on Thompson Road for her cousin who is away. She stated she got to the house at 4:11 p.m. on Monday to find all the china missing from the dining room. Responding officers arrived and took down a report.

A caller reported he found a threatening note in his backpack on Prince Street at 8:41 p.m. on Monday.

A caller reported a possible drunk driver on Smith Street at 1:05 a.m. on Tuesday. First responders arrived and found the driver passed out and they transported him to North Shore Medical Center.



Motor vehicle crash involving a school bus reported on Monday at 6:41 a.m. at 95 Forest St. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange, no injuries or tows.

Hit and run crash reported at 9R Tremont St. on Monday at 8:46 a.m. Officer reports license plate number was taken which was traced to a stolen vehicle.


Homeowner from 1 Granite Court reports a neighbor is parking on his flower bed on Sunday at 3:29 p.m. Prior to police arrival, vehicle was moved.

Caller reports her neighbor at 2233 Avalon Drive is harassing her on Sunday at 6:27 p.m. Officer advised her the issue is a civil matter and she should follow up with apartment building manager.

Report of a vehicle being keyed at 5004 Heatherwood Lane on Sunday at 6:42 p.m. Officer will document.

Resident of 10 Bourbon St. reports a possible disturbance in Apt. 11 on Sunday at 6:46 p.m. Officer reports it was a parent disciplining a child and all was in order.

Loud party reported at 22 Tanners Court on Sunday at 7:57 p.m. Officer reports checking the area and all is quiet.

Report of a parked vehicle blocking the driveway at 27 Harris St. on Sunday at 8:21 p.m. Officer reports the vehicle was ticketed and Malia’s Towing contacted. Vehicle owner moved and tow was canceled.

Resident of Scott Drive who declined to give their name complained of loud music at no. 7 on Sunday at 8:28 p.m. Officer spoke with resident who agreed to lower music even though when officers arrived the music was at an acceptable level.

Caller from Salem Five Savings Bank at 19 Central St. reports a person is trapped inside the ATM vestibule on Sunday at 8:50 p.m. Officer reports the customer was released and bank notified.

Noise complaint at 111 Central St. on Sunday at 8:50 p.m. Officer reports music was turned off.

Desk clerk reports a dispute with a truck driver over money owed at J&H Truck Repair on Sunday at 8:57 p.m. Officer reports driver paid the amount due and the matter was resolved.

Resident reports an infrared light pointed at her car at 70 Lynn St., unsure of where it came from on Sunday at 10:38 p.m. Officers checked the area and reported there was nothing out of the ordinary.



Evripides N. Kodomanolis, 33, of 44 Brookvale St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with second offense of operating under the influence of liquor, two counts of possession of a Class E drug, and marked lanes violation.

Uriel Lopez-Lopez, 29, of 37 Blakeley St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Shaunai Y. Paulding, 35, of 31 Hewins St., Dorchester, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A drug and weapon law violations for carrying a knife.


A report of a motor vehicle accident at 564 Broadway at 12:44 p.m. Monday; at Petco on Broadway at 3:43 p.m. Monday; at 7 Baker St. at 4:02 p.m. Monday; at Kelly’s Roast Beef on Broadway at 6:14 a.m. Tuesday.


A man walked into the police station to report that a public post was made about him that was fictitious at 2:15 p.m. Monday.

A report of road rage on Main Street in which a man spit on a woman’s window at 3:14 p.m. Monday.

A report of an elderly man in the parking lot at Starbucks asking for money who seems confused at 3:25 p.m. Monday.  

A caller reported at 4:49 p.m. Monday that her elderly father wandered away from their Lincoln Avenue home around 10:30 a.m. He was located by police and transported to Salem Hospital.

A caller reported a woman who appeared to be scoping out cars in the first floor parking garage at Holiday Inn Express on Broadway at 2:48 a.m. Tuesday. One person was arrested on drug and weapons charges.



A report of an unwelcome guest at 330 Paradise Road at 9:03 a.m. on Monday.

A report of hazardous conditions at 11 Shelton Road at 10:12 a.m. on Monday.

A report of suspicious activity at 6 Pine Hill Road at 12:01 p.m. on Monday; at the high school, 200 Essex St., at 10:28 p.m. on Monday; at 36 Bradlee Ave. at 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday.

A report of an erratic operator at the middle school, 207 Forest Ave., at 2:53 p.m. on Monday.
