A story published in The Lynnfield Weekly News (May 2) began with the words, “Opponents of senior housing.” I would like to point out that the folks who voted against the zoning change to allow construction of the Woods of Lynnfield are not opponents of senior housing.
They are against a 66- or 56-unit village on Main Street for reasons that have already been thoroughly discussed.
I would also like to say that I am disappointed in all three of our selectmen who were in favor of this development.
