False burglar alarm reported on Sunday at 6:40 p.m. at 24 Daventry Court.

Motion detector at the Huckleberry Hill School at 5 Knoll Road was triggered on Monday at 12:35 a.m. Officer reports door open, checked the school and found multiple classrooms unlocked. All appear to be in order.

Complaints

Abandoned auto reported on Friday at 4:38 p.m. at 13 Canterbury Road. Officer reports person checked out OK.

Call from an elevator at Lynnfield High School at 275 Essex St. on Friday at 6:48 p.m. Officer checked elevators and they are unoccupied and in working order.

Manager at Simply Storage at 102 South Broadway reports the gate to the property is broken and will not lock on Saturday at 11:43 a.m. and requested extra patrols. At 12:40 a.m., a property check was requested.

Caller reported a suspicious man is soliciting on Moran Road on Saturday at 12:32 p.m. He is wearing a white T-shirt, khakis and a hat. Officers located the man and advised him to stop soliciting without a permit.

Officer wanted at Verizon Wireless at 669 Market St. on Saturday at 4:05 p.m. Caller from the store said they were having an issue with a customer. Customer sent on their way.

Suspicious black SUV reported at Exxon at 8 South Broadway on Sunday at 12:30 a.m. Officer reports it was a limousine that left.

Caller reported vehicle parked in the wrong direction on Locust Street and causing a traffic hazard on Sunday at 2:26 p.m. Officer spoke with neighbor and vehicle will be moved.

Property check of Lynnfield High School at 275 Essex St. on Monday at 1:09 a.m. Officer reports all appears to be in order.

Medical Aid

Ambulance requested on Friday at 1:36 p.m. from a motorist on Route 128 South near Exit 41 suffering from tightness in the chest. Officer reports patient taken to the hospital.

Caller from Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. on Friday at 2:03 complaining of chest pain. Officer reports the patient was taken to the hospital.

Caller from 44 Grove St. reports a 19-year-old is having a seizure on Saturday at 12:44 a.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Ambulance requested on Saturday at 3:52 a.m. from 5 Country Club Drive. Caller said wife fell and is dizzy. Officer reports patient taken to the hospital.

Ambulance requested on Sunday at 3:38 a.m. from 781 Summer St. for a 44-year-old man with a racing heart. Patient taken to the hospital.

Request for an ambulance at Lynnfield High School at 275 Essex St. on Sunday at 1 p.m. Patient taken to Boston Children’s Hospital.

Ambulance request at Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. on Sunday at 4:34 p.m. for an elderly woman who struck her head. Patient taken to the hospital.

Summons

Freddie G. Grace, 33, of 8 Pyburn Road, Lynnfield, was summoned on Thursday at 7:10 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop at Peterson’s Automotive at 114 Newbury St. for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Vehicle towed by Gaeta’s.

Mark Murphy, 21, of 17 Bowen Road, was summoned on Thursday at 10:54 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop at 58R Pulaski St. for operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle, and attaching plates.

Nondas Lagonakis, 82, of 30 Fairview Road, Salem, was summoned for shoplifting and possession of an anti-theft device on Friday at 2:32 p.m. at the Burlington Coat Factory at 310 Andover St. after an employee reported there is someone in the fitting room trying to steal watches. He is described as a white or Hispanic male in his 80s and wearing a black trench coat and black pants.

Motor vehicle crash on Thursday at 4:09 p.m. at 63 Lynnfield St. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange, no injuries or tows.

Report of a motor vehicle crash with a man on a bicycle at Pound Lane and Pulaski Street on Friday at 7:31 a.m. Officer reports patient taken to Salem Hospital.

Animal Control

Chelsea Jewish Charitable Foundation at 240 Lynnfield St. reported two loose huskies running around on Friday at 7:58 a.m. Animal control officer reports pets were gone upon arrival of police.

Animal control officer assisted a woman who was bringing an injured rabbit to the Borash Veterinary Clinic at 79 Prospect St. on Friday at 8:05 a.m.

Loose pit bull reported on Friday at 9:02 a.m. at 1 Blaney Ave. Animal control officer reports the pet lives at 1 Blaney and appears to have chewed through the fence.

Certified letter was sent to Daniel Valdez, of 120 Foster St., Apt. 6 on Friday at 11:03 a.m. for the failure to claim, or make arrangements for his two adult dogs and their two puppies.

Complaints

Peabody Fire Department reports receiving a call from security at the Lahey Medical Center at 1 Essex Center Drive on Thursday at 4:08 p.m. about a man arguing with a woman and hitting the mirror on a car.

Officer reports a man in a blue jacket and tan pants running toward Nordstroms. Suspect was released and officer will follow up.

Tenant from 261 Lowell St. reports the landlord changed the locks to her apartment on Thursday at 4:15 p.m. Officer spoke with tenant and landlord and she is going to get her turtle and leave. Landlord reports a no trespassing notice was given to tenant. Officer was called back at 8:52 p.m. by the landlord who said the tenant is now back.  

Motor vehicle stop at the Big Y Plaza at 637 Lowell St. on Thursday at 8:33 p.m. Officer issued a citation to the operator for having an open container of alcohol.

Resident from 14 Roycroft Road reports his neighbor’s double pane window was broken 10 minutes ago by a rock on Thursday at 10:35 p.m. The victim appears to be intoxicated and agitated. Officer will document. No suspects at this time. The homeowner was notified. Criminal Investigation Department responded for photos.

Vehicle towed for trespassing at Tannery Gardens at 111 Foster St. on Thursday at 11:53 p.m. by Four-Star Towing.

Caller reports an intoxicated person walking down Route 128 South near Centennial Drive on Friday at 5 a.m. Massachusetts State Police notified.

Report of a suspicious man making guests uncomfortable in the restaurant of the Marriott Hotel at 8A Centennial Drive on Friday at 7:30 a.m. Officer reports the man may be suffering from a mental health issue and was taken to Salem Hospital.

Sargent checking on a work crew blocking a lane at 50 Warren St. on Friday at 8:19 a.m. Officer spoke to the crew and they agreed to clear the area.

Sargent will be checking the municipal parking lot on Pierpont Street after receiving complaints from City Hall on Friday at 8:45 a.m. Several vehicles towed by Arrington.

Caller reported his baby’s mother sold his vehicle on Friday at 9:01 a.m. while he was incarcerated. Officer will document the incident.

Report that the former owner of 3 Anthony Road is walking around the property on Friday at 9:40 a.m. Man left prior to police arrival.

Report of a past breaking and entering at 25 Wilson Terrace on Friday at 10:08 p.m. The officer checked the property and everything appears in order. Officer said a red and black electric scooter valued between $500 and $1,000 was stolen within the last two days. The resident will contact Peabody Housing Authority and have the back door repaired.

Customer requesting help accessing her storage bin at Public Storage at 240 Newbury St. on Friday at 11:09 p.m. She is having a hard time with the employee. Officer supplied the customer with the phone number of the district manager.

Caller reported an unidentified man who lives on Perley Avenue made threats to her on Friday at 12:39 p.m. The reporting party was upset that the resident told her not to have her dog defecate on his property.

Delivery driver was attempting to deliver appliances at 1001 Foxwood Circle on Friday at 1:20 p.m. and the homeowner became aggressive. Officer reports all in order, miscommunication between delivery and owner on who would set up the appliances.

Report of a road rage incident on Friday at 2:21 p.m. at Plum Tomatoes at 145 Summit St. Caller reports a man got out of his vehicle and was yelling at another car. The vehicle continued on to County Street and then on to Lynn Street toward Lynn. Officer has one vehicle stopped by Larson’s Garage. The officer spoke with the operator who said he had an issue with the other vehicle and that he did give him the finger. No further action at this time.

Caller reports a large box truck was traveling down Crane Avenue and took down a large branch that is laying in the roadway on Friday at 3:04 p.m. Officer reports the Department of Public Works is en route.

Arrests

Jessica M. Smith, 41, of 115 Fremont St., Everett, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise and warrant charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

Sean A. Maltais, 43, of 608 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for operating under the influence, failure to stop or yield, and warrant charges.

David C. Calo, 41, of 27 Hillcrest Road, Dracut, was arrested on warrant charges.

Jose A. Chinchilla, 49, of 72 Collins St., first floor, Lynn, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, assault and battery, and resisting arrest.

Evripides N. Kodomanolis, 33, of 44 Brookvale St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with second offense of operating under the influence of liquor, possession of a Class E drug (steroids), possession of a Class E drug (prednisone), and a marked lanes violation.

A caller on Walnut Street reported he owns a landscaping company and the neighbor at a job they are working at has been giving the workers trouble at 1:31 p.m. Thursday.

A caller on Walden Avenue reported a suspicious vehicle with an inspection sticker that is four to five years old at 5:16 p.m. Thursday. Police report the vehicle is legally parked in a driveway and no crime has been committed.

A caller reported three men riding shopping carts near the intersection of School and Central streets at 7:19 p.m. Thursday.

A report of a water main break at 8 Innis St. at 8:47 p.m. Thursday.

A caller reported a large boulder in the right hand lane of Route 1 near Prince Restaurant at 7:05 a.m. Friday.

A report of wires down on Adams Avenue at 11:55 p.m. Friday.

A caller reported an unknown man was once again observed on cameras trying to gain access to her business office on Broadway at 2:33 p.m. Friday.

A report of a man yelling at himself on a porch on Sweetwater Street at 8:44 p.m. Friday.

A Pinehurst Avenue resident reported a man walking in and out of her yard at 11:01 a.m. Saturday. One person was arrested on warrant charges.

A report of a neighbor dispute over a fence at 125 Fairmount Ave. at 2:05 p.m. Saturday.

A Milano Drive resident reported a suspicious motor vehicle with someone sitting in it parked across from her house at 10:04 p.m. Saturday. Police report the occupant was waiting to visit a friend.

A 911 call from Square One Mall security reported a group of cars burning tires and doing doughnuts in the parking lot at 11:03 p.m. Saturday.

A report of a fight at Route 1 Grillhouse at 12:29 a.m. Sunday. One person reportedly threatened people with a knife. One person was arrested.

A caller reported a motor vehicle on the northbound side of Route 1 driving south near Kowloon Restaurant at 5:08 a.m. Sunday.

A caller reported a car parked in the lot on Winter Street occupied with a group of youths with loud music on at 11:23 p.m. Sunday.
