A report of suspicious activity at 4:28 p.m. Sunday on Cliff Street. A caller reported the door was wide open. Police reported the residence was secured and a note was left for the homeowner.
Theft
A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 5:13 p.m. Friday on Nahant Road. A caller reported he was contacted by someone claiming to be from social security who was asking for money. He was told it was a scam. No personal information or money was shared.

Jeffrey A. Grullon, 21, of 114 South Common St., Apt. 1, Lynn, was arrested on Thursday at 4:44 p.m. at 98 Lake and 0 Lindauer streets and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs, the negligent, unsafe, and reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to yield/stop.
Murilo F. Baldon, 20, of 18 King St., was arrested following a traffic stop at 115 Main and 2 Holten streets on Thursday at 8:32 p.m. and charged with the unlicensed operation of motor vehicle. Officer reports a licensed operator took possession of the vehicle.
Kevin Gueuara, 17, was summoned for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to use care in starting, stopping, and turning on Friday at 11:46 a.m.

Animal Control
Landlord from 13 Swampscott Ave. reported his first floor tenant has a dog, violating the lease on Thursday at 9:53 a.m. Animal control officer advised him that this is a civil matter, but will follow up to see if the animal was licensed and vaccinated. An order to license was sent and, as a courtesy, a license form and a copy of the leash law were included.
Lost dog reported by owner at 2 Meredith Road on Thursday at 10:28 a.m. The pet, Brady, escaped when her toddler opened the door. On callback, she confirmed the dog had been located. She was warned to license the dog by the animal control officer and a warning with a license application will be sent.
Caller from 2 Dana Road reports his lost cat, Sam, may have been spotted on Thursday at 10:50 a.m. He wants to know if the animal control officer had received any calls on it. He was advised she had not heard anything but took a detailed description, and suggested he call the microchip company to report the cat as missing. Sam has been missing since the house fire in March and owner has received calls about sightings since the fire.
Report of a pit bull off leash at the Peabody Dog Park charged two dogs on Thursday at 12:50 p.m. Animal control officer reports she had advised the pit bull owner to use the dog park, the animal is very nice.
Animal control officer reported checking on the well-being of a calf at 278 Farm Ave. on Thursday at 2:12 p.m. Officer reports the calf, and all of the other animals, were in good health and had access to food, water, and shelter. No further action required.

Homeowner of 16 Columbia Boulevard reported the screen on the side of the home towards the driveway was cut sometime in the last month on Thursday at 4:56 p.m. Officer will document, no entry into the home.
Second complaint about an old BMW without plates parked at 4 Sherman St. on Thursday at 7:01 p.m. Officer located the owner who will be moved by 8 p.m.
Report of disorderly conduct at 7-Eleven at 100 Lynn St. on Thursday at 9:57 p.m. Clerk said a man with a beard and wearing a hat threatened him after he refused to let the man use the phone. Danvers Police Department checked the operator’s home but he no longer lives there.
Intoxicated person left Stonewood Tavern at 139 Lynnfield St. and yelled at the bartender before leaving on Thursday at 10:57 p.m. Police in surrounding communities notified.
Station attendant reported two men in a dispute on Friday at 1:39 a.m. at J&H Truck Repair at 129 Newbury St. Officer reports argument was verbal only, one of the men left prior to police arrival.

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 3:46 p.m. Saturday at 25 Howard St.; at 4:42 p.m. Saturday at Marshalls at 655 Broadway. A three-car crash was reported. One male driver was taken to Beverly Hospital, but all other people involved refused treatment.
A motor vehicle crash with personal injury was reported at 4:23 p.m. Saturday at 63 Salem Turnpike. A single car crash into a pole was reported with wires down and possible entrapment. The trapped woman got out of the car, refused medical treatment on scene and reported she would go to the hospital with her son.

A report of an assault with a dangerous weapon at 3:25 p.m. Saturday at Square One Mall on Broadway. Mall Security reported a woman was hit with a baseball bat and then hit on the side by a car. The suspect took off on foot, but is reportedly known to the victim.
A report of an assault and battery at 1:44 p.m. Monday at Chestnut Woods on Chestnut Street. A caller reported an altercation occurred between a patient and a worker.
Breaking and Entering
A report of a breaking and entering at 7:22 p.m. Sunday at 5 Broadway. A caller reported she was watching someone break into her business. Police conducted a walk through with the business owner and determined there was no entry gained. There was no suspect found.
Complaints
A report of a disturbance at 12:13 p.m. Friday at 15 Kennedy Drive. A caller reported a cleaning company walked into his home, started cleaning the home without permission and was refusing to leave. Police reported the cleaning service went to the wrong home by mistake
An anonymous 911 caller reported someone was breaking into the building at 8:19 p.m. Friday at 77 Newhall Ave. The caller refused to answer any questions and hung up. Police traced the caller to a man who said he didn’t remember calling the station.
A disturbance was reported at 8:36 p.m. Friday at 68 Newhall Ave. A caller reported she and her husband were assaulted by one man and two women who walked into her residence after a verbal altercation in the parking lot.
A report of suspicious activity at 9:24 a.m. Saturday toward Cliftondale on Essex Street. A caller reported he saw a man wearing a tan coat possibly carrying an assault rifle walking toward Cliftondale Square. Police located the man who was carrying an umbrella waiting to get on an MBTA bus.
A report of harassment at 9:48 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble at 444 Broadway. A caller reported an incident at work where an unknown male customer approached him after work as he was getting into his car. The unknown man followed him in his car, leading the caller to pull over and confront him. When the caller asked why the man was following him, he asked the caller to have a drink. The two went their separate ways after the caller said he wasn’t interested.
Suspicious activity was reported at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at 24 Curtis Road. A caller reported a car in front of his home was egged and there were two dead squirrels in front of the driveway.
A report of suspicious activity at 6:56 p.m. Sunday at 110 Grill at 855 Broadway. The manager called to report the security guard who works for the Avalon Construction site was acting erratically and scaring customers.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 12:16 p.m. Friday at 16 Jackson St. A caller reported she left $700 for rent in the lockbox on her door and it went missing.
A larceny was reported at 3:29 p.m. Saturday at Bank of America at 1093 Broadway. A caller reported he suspected a bank employee was responsible for more than $32,629 that was missing from the ATM. An internal investigation resulted in the termination of the employee.
A report of a larceny at 5:06 p.m. Saturday at Square One Mall at 1201 Broadway. A caller reported her tire was stolen off of her car.
