Arrests

Devron Banks, 29, of 245 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, N.J., was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation at 10:27 a.m. Tuesday.

Dawan Johnson was arrested on warrant charges of assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and threat to commit crime at 12:28 a.m. Tuesday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 2:43 p.m. Monday at 1 Ocean Terrace.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3:48 p.m. Monday at 825 Boston St.; at 5:33 a.m. Tuesday at 579 Western Ave.; at 9:08 a.m. Tuesday at 37 Friend St.

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 4:16 p.m. Monday at Broadway and Warwick Street; at 7:41 p.m. Monday at 3 Lynnfield St.; at 11:32 a.m. Tuesday at Newhall and Sagamore streets.

Assault

A report of an assault and battery at 5:42 p.m. Monday on Union Street.

Breaking and Entering

A report of a breaking and entering at 10:26 a.m. Tuesday at 161 Marianna St.

A report of a larceny at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday at 178 Essex St.

A report of motor vehicle vandalism at 1:10 a.m. Tuesday at 60 Lovers Leap Ave.

LYNNFIELD

Arrest

Philip E. Castinetti, 62, of 20 Birchwood Road, was arrested on an out-of-town warrant on Monday at 9:36 a.m. at 945 Summer St. and 1 Timberhill Lane.

Alarm

Burglar alarm sounded at Mobil Station at 596 Salem St. on Monday at 10:23 p.m. Officer reports the building appears secure.

Complaints

Lynnfield Fire Department reported oil in the road at 1498 Main St. on Monday at 12:41 p.m.

Officer requested at California Pizza Kitchen at 1150 Market St. on Monday at 9:51 p.m. for a belligerent customer. Officer stood by while the patron called for a ride and left the area.

Medical Aid

Well-being check requested for a resident of 7 Todd Lane on Monday at 1:15 p.m. Officer reports patient was taken to Beverly Hospital.

Request for an ambulance on Monday at 1:34 p.m. at 200 King Rail Drive, Apt. 209. Patient taken to Salem Hospital.

Ambulance needed at 1 Suntaug St. on Monday at 4:05 p.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital in Lynn.

The 99 Restaurant at 317 Salem St. requested an ambulance on Monday at 4:36 p.m. Officer reported patient was taken to Melrose Wakefield Hospital.   

MARBLEHEAD

Accidents

A report of a hit and run motor vehicle accident involving a parked car on Roundhouse Road at 8:53 a.m. on Monday.

A report of a minor motor vehicle crash at Tedesco and West streets at 6:55 p.m. on Monday.

Complaints

A walk-in reported a neighbor dispute at 9:53 a.m. on Monday and was looking for some advice.

An off-duty officer reported an erratic operator on Tedesco Street at 10:15 a.m. on Monday. They stated the driver was traveling over the double yellow lines and tailgating. Responding officers stated the car was gone on arrival.

A caller reported at 2:18 p.m. on Monday that traffic during the pick up and drop off times at Maple and Tedesco streets is “terrible.” She stated she witnessed a “mother just stop and make a u-turn to get into the school line.”

A caller reported a white pick up truck behind her revving the engine and pulling up close to her bumper at Tedesco and Maple streets at 4:31 p.m. on Monday.

A caller reported a male walking through his Lafayette Street property carrying a bag at 11:27 p.m. on Monday. He approached the male who stated he was looking for 230 Lafayette St., which does not exist. Responding officers were unable to locate the described male.

A caller reported at 7:12 a.m. on Tuesday that they were concerned about a resident based on his car windows being open for several days on Lime Street. Officers made a call to the resident and left a message.

PEABODY

Arrests

Ellen A. Middleton, 53, of 286 Newbury St., Apt. 86, was arrested on a warrant at the Mobile Estates on Route 1 at Sunday a 6:08 p.m.

Luciano Esteves Machado, 38, of 34 Keys Drive, Apt. 5, was arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop at 1 Summit St. and Christina Drive on Sunday at 2:05 p.m.

Accident

Motor vehicle crash reported on Sunday at 8:40 p.m. at Down River Ice Cream at 86 Andover St. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

Animal Control

Report of loud barking dogs, possibly from the Big Apple Circus at the Northshore Mall on Sunday at 10:23 p.m. Officer reports some of the circus staff were walking their dogs, but all appeared to be in order.

Complaints

Caller from 43 Main St. reports homeless activity on her property on Sunday at 3:38 p.m. Officer told the caller that the property she found is abandoned and can be disposed of.

Road rage incident reported on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. on Andover Street, eastbound just after the Route 128 ramp. Officer reports the suspect vehicle was a white sedan of unknown make, model or license plate number. Caller reported the operator made an unsafe lane change that nearly caused a collision.

Report of loud music at 3 Oak St. was reported on Sunday at 5:28 p.m. Officer reports music was turned down. Police were called to the same address a second time about the loud music at 9:34 p.m. Officer reports peace restored. Police were called back to the address again at 9:46 p.m.

Well-being check requested of a man in his 30s yelling at oncoming traffic at the Petco Superstore at 10 Sylvan St. on Sunday at 5:45 p.m. Officer reports man was gone upon arrival of police.

Caller from Centennial Drive reported a 2004 Honda Civic with Massachusetts license plate no. 8DK682 is speeding and swerving on the road on Sunday at 7:10 p.m. Officer stopped the vehicle on Rose Circle and had a conversation with the operator, Monica Lee of Groveland. She told police she is new at driving a stick shift.

Suspicious motor vehicle was reported at 147 Summit St. on Sunday at 7:42 p.m. Caller said the driver was erratic and possibly intoxicated. Vehicle was described as an older silver Toyota SUV and last seen turning around in the Summit Plaza parking lot. Caller lost sight of the vehicle after it turned onto Lynnfield Street going towards Washington Street. Officer reports locating the vehicle and all is OK.

Loud party reported at 72 Central St., Apt. 2 on Sunday at 11:56 p.m. Officer reports all was quiet upon police arrival.

Police asked to check a suspicious motor vehicle at the parking lot of Buckley Field Park on Central Street on Sunday at 12:32 a.m. The officer said the operator was kicked out of the house and was looking for a place to stay. He was sent on his way.

Dunkin’ Donuts manager at the cafe at 117 Newbury St. reported a customer who appears to be under the influence refuses to leave on Sunday at 8:21 a.m. He is wearing sweatpants, no shoes, with arm wrapped in a towel. Officer reports the man, Pat Corning, left without incident and returned to his motel next door.

Out of control guest, possibly under the influence, reported at the Plaza Hotel at 125 Newbury St. on Monday at 10:25 a.m. Officer reports Patrick Corning, 35, will be taken by ambulance to Beverly Hospital.

Officer reports a trailer slid off of a tractor and is partially blocking Oak Street at Ideal Transportation on Sunday at 1:03 p.m. Officer said the company has its own equipment en route to the scene and the trailer was moved. G/J Towing is on scene.

SAUGUS

Complaints

An employee at IHOP on Broadway reported a man tried to steal a purse at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

A report of a lost dog on Lincoln Avenue at 1:09 p.m. Monday.

A caller on Saugus Avenue reported someone rang her doorbell and she is too nervous to look outside at 11:18 p.m. Monday.

A report of loud music on Myrtle Street at 1:03 a.m. Monday.

Theft

A caller on Felsmere Avenue reported he had more than $3,000 in landscaping tools stolen from a residence at 9:33 a.m. Monday.

SWAMPSCOTT

Arrests

Porfirio Morales, 24, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding at 7:18 a.m. last Wednesday.

Justin Mokler, 35, was arrested and charged with trespassing and a violation of a city knife ordinance at 4:56 a.m. last Thursday.

Summer Revia, 32, was arrested and charged with trespassing at 4:14 a.m. last Thursday.

Complaints

A report of hazardous conditions at 4 Hawthorne Road at 7:33 a.m. on Monday.

A report of suspicious activity at 54 Redington St. at 8:06 a.m. on Monday.
