Stephania Lugin, 38, of 63 Sheridan St., was arrested on warrant charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, taking an improper turn, and charged with a default warrant at 10:24 a.m. on Friday.

Angel Sanchez, 40, of 195 Union St., was arrested on a warrant charge of open and gross lewdness and charged with being disguised to obstruct justice at 3:54 p.m. on Thursday.

Resident of 952 Salem St. reported a suspicious vehicle has been left on his property on Thursday at 8:50 a.m. Officer reports vehicle has been moved.

Caller from 78 Crescent Ave. reported a neighbor threatened him on Thursday at 9:05 a.m. Officer reports all is OK.

Report of a dog stuck on the roof at 26 Perry Ave. on Thursday at 10:50 a.m. Officer reports neighbor has the dog.

Resident from 44 Crest St. reported her neighbor’s video captured a small child riding a scooter unsupervised on Thursday at 5:49 p.m. Officer located the child’s parents and boy is older than he looks.

Phillips Road resident reports a small white vehicle driving up and down the street blowing the horn on Thursday at 11:14 p.m. Officer checked the area and could not locate the described vehicle.

Caller from 17 Smith Farm Trail reports a person in front of her home yelling on Thursday at 5:23 p.m. Officer located the party and all is OK.

Wakefield Police Department called to say a motorist reported gas grill tanks in road at 71 Main St. at 1 Bay State Road on Thursday at 6:59 p.m. Officer could not locate them.

Medical Aid

Medical aid requested at Lahey Health Center at 1350 Market St. on Thursday at 2:13 p.m. Patient taken to Beverly Hospital.



A report of a minor motor vehicle crash on Lighthouse Lane at 6:41 p.m. on Thursday.

A report of a hit and run motor vehicle crash on Mechanic Street at 10:15 p.m. on Thursday.


A caller reported an attempted phone scam at 12:02 p.m. on Thursday. She stated the scammer had promised her a loan and wanted her to go and get Google Play cards. The company was called Speedy Cash and had an area code from Kansas City.

A walk-in came into the station with a .22 long gun to be destroyed at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday.

A caller reported she returned to her Washington Street home at 12:54 p.m. on Thursday and there was a woman parked in the driveway area taking photos.

A walk-in reported at 1:39 p.m. on Thursday that he fell for a sweepstakes scam and is missing money from his account.

A caller reported she believes she has a stalker at 4:51 p.m. on Thursday.

A caller reported teenagers running through the cemetery near West Shore Drive and causing a disturbance at 9:58 p.m. on Thursday. Responding officers were unable to locate the described teenagers.



Higor Fialho Jr., 21, of 98 Hastings St., Lowell, was summoned following a motor vehicle crash at Bunghole Liquors at 79 Lowell St. on Thursday at 5:43 p.m. and charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Mary Ellen Langdon, 53, of 58 Park St., North Andover, was summoned for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. See accident report for Thursday at 6:16 p.m.


Motor vehicle crash reported at Giovanni’s House of Pizza at 525 Lowell St. on Thursday at 5:52 p.m. Officer reports no injuries.

Report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 2 Sylvan at 225 Andover St. on Thursday at 6:16 p.m. North Andover Police Department notified, but the suspect’s vehicle was not in the driveway. Victim said the suspect was a woman with blonde hair. She was able to reach the suspect vehicle’s owner, who said her daughter was driving her vehicle, but refused to provide name. Officer reported vehicle owner will be summoned for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.

Report of a motor vehicle crash with possible injury at 95 Main St. on Thursday. Officer reports all parties refused medical attention. Phil’s Towing contacted.

Motor vehicle crash reported at DXL Apparel at 242 Andover St. on Friday at 11:23 a.m. Offer reports no injuries or tows. Officer issued a ticket to one operator for failure to use care.

Animal Control

Report of a black and white husky wandering near 14 State St. on Friday at 9:49 a.m. Animal control officer reports dog was gone upon arrival and people in the area say they have not seen a loose dog.

Report of a dead rabbit in front of 11 Blaney Ave. on Friday at 10:25 a.m. The Department of Public Works contacted to pick up the animal.


The Department of Children & Families issued a be-on-the-lookout for William Decotis’ vehicle with Massachusetts license plate no. 9EB654. Officer reports he showed up at the trailer at Mobile Estates at 286 Newbury St., Apt. 63 on Thursday at 3 p.m. Officer will document.

Woman from 7200 Crane Brook Way, Apt. 7211 reported she lost her debit card and it has been used for more than $400 on Thursday at 3:24 p.m. Officer will document.

Water break reported at 586 Lowell St. Road flooded, traffic diverted eastbound down Danforth to Carpenter streets on Thursday at 3:53 p.m. The Department of Public Works contacted.

Caller from the Peabody Library at 82 Main St. reports vehicle parked in the fire lane side of the library on Thursday at 5:07 p.m. Officer issued ticket.

Caller reported a waitress at In The Game at 535 Lowell St. used his debit card on Thursday at 8:05 p.m.

Well-being check requested on Friday at 2:53 a.m. for Joseph Severino, 51, of 24 Mount Pleasant Drive, by his brother in Pennsylvania who said he has been out of touch for more than a year. Officer reports no answer at the door. Checked later and Severino is fine and he will call his brother.

People arguing reported at 4200 Crane Brook Way on Friday at 3:18 a.m. Officer reports parties went inside for the night.

A dispute was reported at iFixPhones on Friday at 10:54 a.m. between a customer and a store clerk. Officer arrived and the matter was settled and customer was given a refund.

Report from the director of the Peabody Community Life Center at 79 Central St. about two people having a verbal disagreement on Friday at 1:55 p.m. One of the suspects mentioned a gun, but lacks a license. Officer will document the threats.



A report of a motor vehicle accident at Macy’s Department Store at 8:32 a.m. Thursday.


A caller on Park Street reported he paid $300 to a Craigslist ticket agent for Red Sox tickets on April 9 and the tickets never came at 10:48 a.m. Thursday.

A report of a fight at KFC on Broadway at 4:18 p.m. Thursday. The glass on the door was broken during the altercation.

A pregnant woman walked into the police station and requested the Fire Department assist her with cutting her ring off her finger at 6:54 p.m. Thursday.
