LYNNFIELD

Summons

Philip W. Clermont, 27, of 239 Huntington Ave., Boston, was summoned following a motor vehicle crash at 354 South Broadway on Saturday at 8:46 p.m. for operating an uninsured motor vehicle with a revoked registration. Patient taken to Salem Hospital.

Accidents

Report of a dog struck by a vehicle on Saturday at 10:23 a.m. at 1004 Summer St. and 18 Nottingham Road. Message left for animal control officer. Dog has been taken home to 38 Doncaster Circle.

Motor vehicle crash with property damage reported on Sunday at 12:52 a.m. at 600 Lowell St. Vehicle struck a light pole and pole and wires are across the roadway. Officer reports Phil’s Towing, Reading Municipal Light and Verizon notified. Operator taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

Alarms

A 911 call from the Lynnfield Public Library at 18 Summer St. on Friday at 9:58 a.m. Officer reports all is OK at the library.

Carbon monoxide alarm sounded at 4 Ashley Court on Friday at 12:05 p.m. Officer reports alarm was accidental. Technician working on the system.

Caller reports a house or motor vehicle alarm has been sounding for several hours on Saturday at 5:45 a.m. on Bourque Road. Officer checked the area and could not locate alarm.

Contractor accidentally set off a burglar alarm on Saturday at 8:42 a.m. at 15 Ramsdell Way.

Accidental alarm reported at Huckleberry Hill School on Saturday at 3:58 p.m. Officer reports building appears secure.

False burglar alarm reported on Saturday at 5:49 p.m. at 195 Summer St. Officer spoke with employee and everything appears to be OK.

Accidental burglar alarm reported on Saturday at 8:10 p.m. at 3 Pyburn Road. Officer reports house appears to be secure.

Caller reported a house fire on Saturday at 10:21 p.m. at 858 Lynnfield St. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Burglar alarm sounded at 1219 Main St. on Sunday at 4:18 a.m. Officer reports home is secure.

Employee locking up for the night at California Pizza Kitchen at 1150 Market St. on Sunday at 4:21 a.m. accidentally sounded the door’s burglar alarm.

Animal Control

Caller from 700 Chestnut St. reported two dogs bit their dog. Officer took report on Sunday at 4:41 p.m.

Complaints

Report of a runner in the middle of the road on Friday at 9:48 a.m. on Chestnut Street. Officer checked the area but was unable to locate runner.

Officer wanted to check on a broken lock at 30 Stillman Road on Friday at 11:17 a.m.

Caller reports vehicle is blocking the driveway at 30 Stillman Road on Friday at 1:31 p.m. Officer reports parties have gone their separate ways.

Caller from 9 Center Village reported fraud on Friday at 5:50 p.m. Officers took report.

Peabody Police Department reports a loud party in the woods on Stafford Road on Saturday at 8:45 pm.

Peabody Police Department reports a bonfire in the woods at 31 Homestead Road on Saturday at 9:10 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department; a second complaint about burning came at 9:35 p.m. from Stafford Road.  

Kids having a loud street party reported on Homestead Road on Saturday at 11:03 p.m. Officer checked the area and all is quiet.

Caller reports loud group of kids outside her home at 2 Locksley Road on Sunday at 2:09 a.m. Officer checked the area and was unable to locate kids.

Disabled motor vehicle reported on Main Street on Monday at 7:39 a.m.

Medical Aid

Request for an ambulance for an elderly woman who fell and struck her head at Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. on Friday at 6:04 p.m.

Life Alert sounded at 15 Oxbow Road on Sunday at 9:27 p.m. Patient refused medical attention.

Caller reported elderly man is unresponsive at 13 Carpenter Road on Sunday at 10:52 p.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

MARBLEHEAD

Complaints

A caller reported a black Jeep parked at the corner of Bessom Street and Heritage Way in a bad spot at 1:13 p.m. on Monday.

A caller reported at 2:20 p.m. on Monday that she was approached by a male and a female attempting to solicit a vacuum cleaning service on Conant Road. She stated she began to feel uncomfortable while talking to them and declined their services. Responding officers were unable to locate the male and female.

A caller reported a wire was down, and it might be live, on West Shore Drive at 2:25 p.m. on Monday. Responding officers stated at 2:42 p.m. that someone from Electric Light was on the way.

A caller reported a man outside smoking marijuana on Washington Street at 4:43 p.m. on Monday. Responding officers could not locate the described man.

A walk-in reported at 5:45 p.m. on Monday that the barrels at Lighthouse Lane were overflowing and the seagulls were getting into the trash.

Multiple calls of a wire down at Atlantic Avenue and Cleveland Road at 6:35 p.m. on Monday. The Light Department was on the scene at 7:04 p.m.

Accident

A report of a hit and run accident at Castle Road and Highland Avenue at 3:10 p.m. Saturday.

Complaints

A report of a motor vehicle with an out-of-state license plate parked outside a home on Emerald Road at 10:31 a.m. Thursday.

A report of downed wires on Kennedy Court at 12:05 p.m. Thursday.

A caller on Castle Road reported a drone flying above his house and possibly taking photos in the area at 12:59 p.m. Thursday. The caller felt the police should be advised of anyone flying drones over Nahant.

A resident walked into the station to report a landscape truck parked haphazardly in the area of Wharf Street and Christopher Drive at 9:38 a.m. Friday.

A report of two dogs loose on Prospect Street with no handlers at 5:45 p.m. Friday.

A report of a brown dog running down Maple Avenue at 3:20 p.m. Saturday.

A report of a loose dog on Wilson Road at 10:37 a.m. Sunday.

Arrests

Ingryd G. Dossantos, 28, of 95 Main St., Apt. 2 was arrested following a traffic stop on Monday at 2:37 p.m. at 30 Andover St. at 1 Hilltop Drive for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and obstructed window. Phil’s Towing en route.

Diego Dossantos, 28, of 95 Main St., Apt. 2, was arrested following a traffic stop on Monday at 2:37 p.m. at 30 Andover St. at 1 Hilltop Drive and was summoned for allowing an unlicensed operator to drive a vehicle.

Summons

Rosa Pineda Milton Osmaro, 32, of 19 Hooper St., Chelsea, was summoned on Sunday at 5:57 p.m. for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Jenny E. Alvarado, 31, of 19 Hooper St., Chelsea, was summoned on Sunday at 5:57 p.m. for allowing an unlicensed operator to drive her vehicle.

Accidents

Rollover motor vehicle crash reported on Sunday at 3:43 p.m. at 98 Forest St. and 17 Centennial Drive. Officer reports no injuries and Phil’s Towing removed both vehicles.

Motor vehicle crash reported on Monday at 6:55 a.m. at 2 First Ave. at 245 Lynnfield St. Officer reports no injuries and both vehicles towed by Phil’s Towing.

Motor vehicle crash reported on Monday at 3:19 p.m. at 305 Lowell St. Officer reports passenger of motor vehicle No. 2 was taken to Salem Hospital by Atlantic Ambulance, operator of that vehicle refused treatment. Motor vehicles 2 and 3 towed by Phil’s Towing.

Complaints

Caller from 3 Ayer St. requested to speak to a police officer on Sunday at 2:45 p.m. regarding ongoing issues with loud music from the neighbor. Officer reports all quiet at this time, unit will monitor the area.

Resident of 38 Keys Drive reported a neighbor disposed of a small bag with white powder on Sunday at 3:09 p.m. and wants an officer to dispose of it properly. Officer took the item and will submit it to be destroyed.

Caller from 46 Walnut St. requests assistance with an unknown neighbor in the building playing loud music on Sunday at 7:38 p.m. Officer reports music was shut off.

Clerk at McDonald’s Restaurant at 133 Main St. reports a homeless man wearing a black hat, black jacket, and carrying a cane refused to leave the restaurant on Sunday at 8:26 p.m. Officers reported the man was told not to come back to McDonald’s.

Clerk from CVS Pharmacy at 85 Lynnfield St. called police to say a customer left their wallet at the store on Sunday at 1014 p.m. The Beverly Police Department was notified to contact the owner.

A 911 caller reported an unknown person had driven to her home at 24 Nickerson Road in a vehicle of unknown make, model, or color on Sunday at 11:03 p.m. Upon arrival, the person rang the doorbell and sped off. Report taken.

Disabled motor vehicle reported in front of Speedway at 545 Lowell St. on Sunday at 4:48 p.m. Officer assisted in pushing vehicle into the parking lot.

Disabled motor vehicle reported on Monday at 12:03 a.m. at YMCA at 259 Lynnfield St. Officer reports the vehicle had ran out of gas. Gaeta’s Tow responded with gas for the vehicle.

Resident of Avalon at Cranebrook at 1000 Crane Brook Way reports moving trucks blocking handicapped parking spaces on Monday at 11:58 p.m. Police advised her to also contact management. Officer arrived and reported management handled the issue.

North Shore Elder Services requested a well-being check on Salvatore Aiello at 3 Margaret Road because he did not answer the door for nurse on Monday at 12:04 p.m. Sargent arrived and made contact with Sal and agency contacted.

Report of a car parked in two spaces at 300 Andover St. on Monday at 2:20 p.m. Officer checked the area and vehicle was gone upon arrival.

Peabody Fire Department reports a large sinkhole on Monday at 2:40 p.m. at Monson Drive and Barbara Lane. Department of Public Works (DPW) notified and will bring traffic cones. DPW called back and made aware of the urgency of the sinkhole to be repaired due to the large size. DPW arrived and placed a traffic barrel at the site and scheduled a fix for Tuesday.

Resident of 13 Swampscott Ave., Apt. 1, reported the landlord took her box spring out of the basement and left the house on Monday at 2:53 p.m. Officer spoke with the resident and stated that the box spring did not belong to her.

Out of control resident reported at the Group Home at 15 Oak St. on Monday at 5:15 p.m. Officer reports patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

SAUGUS

Arrests

Luigi Spadorcia, 57, of 22 Saugus Ave., was arrested on warrant charges.

Gary M. Goodwin, 41, of 22 Elaine Ave., was arrested and charged with two counts of failure to appear upon recognizance.

A caller reported a truck dumped a large amount of vinyl siding in the roadway and it’s blocking a large amount of the roadway at 3:44 p.m. Friday.

A report of car debris in the slow lane of Route 1 South near CVS Pharmacy at 9:39 a.m. Saturday.

A report of youths driving four-wheelers and other ATVs in the area of 13 Cheever Ave. at 2:23 p.m. Saturday.

A caller from 340 Lincoln Ave. reported that a customer tried to pay with a fake $100 bill at 6:02 p.m. Saturday.

A report of a loud karaoke party at 6 Whitney St. at 10:16 p.m. Saturday.

A caller reported a man with a red backpack and hoodie riding in and out of the woods on a bike screaming at 24 Altamont Ave. at 12:04 a.m. Sunday.

A report of vandalism at 11 Lawndale Ave. at 6:56 a.m. Monday.

A report of construction material in the roadway at McDonald’s on Broadway at 5:44 p.m. Monday.

A report of a shopping cart in the southbound lane of Route 1 near Panera Bread at 5:36 a.m. Monday.

Several calls for a report of two carriages in the highway near Michael’s Craft Store at 9:43 a.m. Tuesday.

A report of a breaking and entering into a motor vehicle at 10:43 p.m. Saturday.
