LYNN

Arrests

Cornell Johnson was arrested on a warrant charge of possession of a Class E drug at 4:55 p.m. on Thursday.

Georgios Keskinidis, 37, of 82 Judge Road, was arrested and charged with possession to distribute a class drug and possession of a Class B drug at 12:08 a.m. on Friday.

Dahian Placencio, 19, of 189 Chatham St., was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, possession of an unregistered motor vehicle, and possession of an uninsured motor vehicle or trailer at 4:29 a.m. on Friday.

Jose Rivera, of 11 Congress Ave., Chelsea, was arrested on warrant charges of possession of a Class B drug, conspiracy to violate a drug law, larceny from a person, and receiving stolen property worth less than $1,200 at 12:14 p.m. on Friday.

Cynthia Rubin, 40, of 158 Ipswich Road, Topsfield, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class C drug at 12:02 a.m. on Friday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 50 Lynnway at 5:05 p.m. on Thursday.

A report of a hit and run motor vehicle crash at 60 Superior St. at 5:44 p.m. on Thursday; at Market and State streets at 9:32 p.m. on Thursday; at Commercial Street and Lynnway at 10:38 a.m. on Friday.

A report of a motor vehicle theft at 20 Wave St. at 12 p.m. on Thursday.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism to a motor vehicle at Sterling and Walnut streets at 6:14 p.m. on Thursday; at 351 Boston St. at 12:19 p.m. on Friday.

LYNNFIELD

Summons

Adam Collins, 37, of 68 Starrett Road, Lynn, was summoned following a motor vehicle crash at Christine’s Cafe at 618 Salem St. on Thursday at 5:28 p.m. for a marked lanes violation and the negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Patient taken to the hospital.

Alarms

Accidental burglar alarm at 40 Island Road on Thursday at 11:10 a.m.

A series of fire alarms were  reported on Friday at 12:07 a.m. at Calvary Temple at 47 Grove St., at 230 South Broadway, at Whole Foods Market at 100 Market St., and 600 Market St. Calls referred to the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Front door burglar alarm canceled at Tommy Bahama at 1330 Market St. on Friday at 2:26 a.m.

Entry/exit burglar alarm sounded at Lynnfield High School on Friday at 5:50 a.m. Officer reports all appears to be in order.

Drive through motion detector burglar alarm sounded at Kelly Jeep Chrysler Plymouth at 353 North Broadway on Friday at 6:29 a.m.  Officer reports all appears to be in order. Employees are on scene but lack access to the building.

Complaints

Debris in road reported on Thursday at 10:51 a.m. at Route 128 South. Massachusetts State Police and the Massachusetts Highway Department contacted.

Officer wanted at 11 Walnut St. on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

Attempted breaking and entering reported at 19 Maple St. on Thursday at 6:18 p.m.  

Caller reported a motor vehicle parked going the wrong way on Locust Street on Thursday at 9:03 p.m. Officer issued a ticket.

Medical Aid

Caller from 12 Bluejay Road reported her husband has fallen on Thursday at 9:22 a.m. Lynnfield Fire Department responded and said the patient refused treatment.

Request for an ambulance for a woman at 38 Phillips Road on Friday at 5:32 a.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Ambulance requested at 375 North Broadway on Friday at 6:26 a.m. for a man who fell and suffered a facial injury. Patient taken to the hospital.

MARBLEHEAD

Arrest

Arthur Griffeth, 51, of 110 Farrell Court, was arrested on a non-Marblehead warrant at 11:23 p.m. on Thursday.

Complaints

A caller reported their tires and rims were stolen on Locust Street at 7:52 a.m. on Thursday.

A resident posted on the Facebook page at 7 a.m. on Thursday that two Adirondack chairs were stolen from her front yard overnight.

A caller reported someone on Gerry Street holding a sign at 9:22 a.m. on Thursday. They stated the person looked “disturbed” and they felt as though the person would have a confrontation with someone else.

A caller reported at 1:34 p.m. on Thursday there was a disturbance in the post office and they needed to see the police.

A caller reported an intoxicated male trying to get into his car on Pleasant Street at 2:58 p.m. on Thursday.

A caller reported a car was operating at a high rate of speed and was “going to kill someone” at Humphrey and Tedesco streets at 3:52 p.m. on Thursday.

A caller reported their car was stolen with the keys still inside on Washington Street at 8:47 p.m. on Thursday. At 8:55 p.m., they called back and stated her brother stole it after an argument and he may be intoxicated. Responding officers found the brother but the caller did not want to pursue any legal action.

PEABODY

Summons

Gerald G. Harris, 49, of 9 Beacon St., was summoned following a road rage incident at 133 Main and 2 Pierpont streets on Wednesday at 6:04 p.m. for vandalizing property.

Accidents

Passerby reported a motor vehicle crash on Wednesday at 7:12 p.m. at 35 Tremont at 84 Wallis streets but there did not appear to be any injuries. Officer reports the crash was gone upon arrival of police.

Report of a crash on Thursday at 9:03 a.m. at 7 Summit St. and 33 Centennial Drive. Officer reports paperwork exchanged prior to police arrival.

Animal Control

Caller from 2 Hamilton reported a Rottweiler is running free in the neighborhood on Wednesday at 7:20 p.m. Officer checked the area and could not locate the animal. A second call came at 7:44 p.m. about the same pet. Animal control officer pursued the animal to 60 Harrison Ave. where it was reunited with its owner.

Complaints

Report of a group of teens fighting on School Street on Wednesday at 5:11 p.m. Officers spoke with youth found nearby and sent them on their way.

Manager at Pacific Sunwear at the Northshore Mall reported a woman dressed in white wearing a purple bandana stole $200 worth of merchandise on Wednesday at 5:11 p.m. and exited towards Not Your Average Joe’s. Officer will document.

Caller reported a road rage incident on Wednesday at 5:46 where a vehicle with youths were throwing rocks at her car. Officer reported the woman did not want any police action taken.

Suspicious activity reported in the parking lot at 12 Crowninshield St. on Wednesday at 6:55 p.m. Detective checked on a woman in the lot and will document.

Caller from 48 Lynnfield St. reported she is being followed by a “repo man” on Wednesday at 6:55 p.m. and he is sitting near her home. Officer spoke with the reporting party and all is OK. Reporting party called police again at 8:37 p.m. to report the “repo man” is in front of her home again and said she does not have the vehicle and would like him to be moved along. Officer reports the vehicle in question belongs to a person who lives on the corner and does not work for a repo company.

Suspicious motor vehicle reported at the Marriott Hotel at 8A Centennial Drive on Wednesday at 9:26 p.m. that has been parked for more than two hours with a man smoking inside. Officer reports he spoke with the vehicle operator and he was sent on his way.

Officer checking on a vehicle with Massachusetts license plate no. 7ZH838 at Kennedy Field Park on Elginwood Road on Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. Officer reports party was listening to music and all is OK.

Report of a white sedan idling and playing music too loud for the time of day on Wednesday at 11:05 p.m. Officer reports the white pickup was unoccupied and a gray sedan occupied by youths parked at the park was sent on its way.

Caller said her boyfriend came home drunk on Wednesday at 11:20 at 58 Harrison Ave. and wants him removed. She said he poses no threat. Officer reports parties came to an agreement that he will sleep it off downstairs.

Loud music reported on Thursday at 1:05 a.m. at Avalon at Cranebrook at 1000 Crane Brook Way, Apt. 1017. Caller said party agreed to turn down music. Officer will document.

The homeowner from 19 Sherman St. reported their next door neighbor’s chimney landed on his car on Thursday at 11:47 a.m. Officer reports the building inspector ordered the chimney to be removed.

SAUGUS

Arrests

Kasey Owens, 31, of 112 Baldwin St., Charlestown, was arrested on warrant charges.

Luis Pena, 25, of 136 Fuller St., Apt. 1, Dorchester, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation, and arrestee furnish to law enforcement false identification information.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at Kohl’s Department Store at 12:44 a.m. Thursday; at Route 1 North near Essex Street at 1:42 p.m. Thursday; at Stop & Shop on Main Street at 2:45 p.m. Thursday; at Wheelabrator Saugus at 8:37 a.m. Friday.

Complaints

A caller reported a landscaping company blowing debris from a yard into the roadway at 8:27 a.m. Thursday.

A report of a couch in the high speed lane on Route 1 near Taco Bell at 3:23 p.m. Thursday.

A caller reported kids chasing a turkey around with a knife on Norman Road at 3:39 p.m. Thursday. The children told police they were trying to keep the turkey away from them. Saugus Police contacted the Environmental Police. Environmental Police called to report they discharged two rounds and will be removing the turkey from the area.

A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 27 Evergreen St. at 11:53 pm. Thursday.

A report of people playing basketball after quiet hours at 23 Bristow St. at 11:54 p.m. Thursday.

Theft

A report of someone shoplifting two pairs of sunglasses from Macy’s Department Store at 12:20 p.m. Thursday.

A report of a detained shoplifter at Macy’s Department Store at 8:53 p.m. Thursday.

SWAMPSCOTT

Accident

A report of a motor vehicle crash with property damage less than $1,000 at 174 Humphrey St. at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
