Danielle Devin, 38, of 24 Pine Grove Ave., was arrested on a warrant at 10:53 p.m. Sunday.

Elfido Echeverria-Ochoa, 44, of 32 Brookvale St., was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 12:57 a.m. Monday.

Benigno Mendez-Chavez, 33, of 17 Whittier St., was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and on warrant charges of two counts of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, OUI liquor, marked lanes violation and load unsecured/uncovered at 8:59 p.m. Sunday.


A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 9:04 p.m. Sunday at 7 Barrett Court; at 10:33 p.m. Sunday at 65 Lawton Ave.; at 6:11 a.m. Monday at 57 Tucker St.; at 7:21 a.m. Monday at 159 Washington St.

Gabriel Freitas Dias, 22 of 73 Harvard St., Chelsea, was arrested on Saturday at 5:07 p.m. at Hawkes Pond on Walnut Street and charged with possession of a Class E drug.


Motor vehicle crash with injury reported at Route 128 South prior to Exit 41 in Wakefield on Friday at 10:55 a.m. Patient taken to the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. Call handled by the Massachusetts State Police.

Minor motor vehicle crash with property damaged but no injuries reported at Condon Circle on Friday at 5 p.m. Massachusetts State Police contacted. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

Report of a motor vehicle crash at Condon Circle on Saturday at 2:34 p.m. Massachusetts State Police contacted. Officer unable to locate crash.

Motor vehicle crash with injury reported on Saturday at 10:35 p.m. at  462 South Broadway at 771 Salem St. Atlantic Ambulance responded but patient refused medical attention.

Hit and run crash reported on Sunday at 4:48 p.m. on Market Street. Officer took report.

Animal Control

Stray dog reported on Sunday at 6:45 p.m. Caller said the animal is in the woods behind his home at 9 Dewing Road. Animal control officer contacted and returned the pet to its owner.


Burglar alarm sounded at Lynnfield Middle School at 505 Main St. on Sunday at 1:25 p.m. Officer found unlocked door, everything appears to be OK, secured door.

Canceled burglar alarm at Christine’s Cafe at 618 Salem St. on Sunday at 3:37 p.m.


Caller from 5 Elliot Road reported their 8-month-old child fell off the changing table on Friday at 11:01 a.m. Patient taken to Winchester Hospital.

Report of theft at 26 Center Village on Friday at 2:13 p.m. and at 220 South Broadway at 3:07 p.m. Report taken.

Food on stove fire reported on Friday at 5:59 p.m. at 300 King Rail Drive, Apt. 208. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Caller from 500 Ross Drive reports wires for wheelchair are stuck under the tire and she needs assistance moving the chair on Saturday at 7:21 a.m. Officer assisted.

Report of  white pickup truck operating erratically on Saturday at 9:45 a.m. at 1050 Summer St. and 123 Moulton Drive. Officer unable to locate vehicle.

Theft reported at 722 Salem St. on Saturday at 11:31 a.m. Report taken.

Resident reports operator of a white car with Massachusetts license plate no. 8SC979 speeds and beeps horn on Main Street weekly on Saturday at 8:48 p.m. Citation issued.

Report of youths riding a golf cart on the sidewalk at 400 Salem St. on Sunday 8:08 p.m. Officer found youths riding on their own property and told them to keep off the street and the sidewalk.

Medical Aid

Request for an ambulance at 915 Main St. on Friday at 10:37 a.m. Patient taken to Salem Hospital.

Ambulance requested at 375 North Broadway, Apt. 3-107 on Friday at 3:26 p.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital in Lynn.

Request for an ambulance at 100 Highland Ave. on Saturday at 10:25 p.m. Officer reports patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.

Ambulance requested on Sunday at 4 p.m. at  880 Summer St. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.



A hairdresser reported a teenager left without paying after getting a haircut at 11:36 a.m. Sunday on Bessom Street.

A caller reported he was being harassed by a life insurance company, which was a scam, at 3:05 p.m. Sunday on Waldron Court.

A report of kids on bikes in traffic at 3:29 p.m. Sunday on Pleasant Street. A caller reported there was a pack of kids on bikes riding into oncoming traffic.

A report of suspicious activity at 8:01 p.m. Sunday on Goldthwait Road. An older man carrying a flashlight and wearing slippers and a sweatshirt was reportedly knocking on the caller’s door asking for $20. Police spoke with the man who said he had lost his wallet and was looking for a neighbor who could help him buy a pizza.

A report of suspicious activity at 9:27 p.m. Sunday on Atlantic Avenue. A caller reported last Saturday his son was approached by a man in a blue sedan who was asking him questions about basketball and stating he used to be a pro and wanted to give him pointers.



Murilo F. Baldon, 20, of 18 King St., was arrested following a motor vehicle stop at 30 Lowell St. on Saturday at 8:58 a.m. and charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.


Samantha Nora So, 24, of 15 MacArthur Road, Beverly, was summoned following a traffic stop on Saturday at 12:53 p.m. and charged with operating an uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle. Arrington Towing contacted.

Gilberto Lima, 39, of 25 Perkins St., was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at 43 Central and 2 Elm streets on Saturday at 2:32 p.m. and charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Officer reports Arrington Towing en route.


Motor vehicle crash reported on Friday at 4:29 p.m. at Legal Sea Foods at 210 Andover St. Officer reports no injuries or tows, but one operator taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center for evaluation.

Report of a two-car motor vehicle crash on Friday at 8:29 p.m. at 101 Main and 2 Washington streets. No injuries reported.

Hit and run motor vehicle crash reported on Saturday at 2:28 p.m. on Route 128 North. Reporting party has a license plate number. Officer will try to make notification to help with paperwork exchange. Suspect called and she asked officer to give her insurance information to the victim so she can put in a claim.

Report of a motor vehicle crash at 136 Lowell and 2 King streets on Saturday at 3:08 p.m. Officer reports tire came off one vehicle and hit the other Arrington Tow en route.

Motor vehicle crash reported on Sunday at 1:54 a.m. at 26 Ellsworth Road. Officer reports operator given a ride to her home on Aborn Street. Vehicle towed by Malai’s Towing.

Animal Control

Report of a lost Rottweiler on Pleasant Street on Saturday at 11:44 p.m. Animal control officer reports gone upon arrival.


Danvers Police Department called on Friday at 3:25 p.m. seeking assistance in contacting the owner of Massachusetts license plate no. 94TX72 that was involved in a hit and run crash. Danvers Police called back to say they made contact with the owner.

Caller reports a BB gun pellet appears to have put a hole in the window at 16 Hampshire Road on Friday at 4:04 p.m. Officer will document.

Neighborhood dispute reported on Friday at 4:12 p.m. from a caller at 17 Elaine Ave. who said his neighbor’s son harassed him about placing items on his property. Officer reports the dispute appears to be over the property line. Parties were advised to call City Hall and refrain from further contact with each other.

Report of people drinking in a motor vehicle parked in the back lot at 484 Lowell St. on Friday at 8:33 p.m. Officers report the youths were talking and it did not appear any alcohol was being consumed.

Suspicious motor vehicle reported at the Burke School at 127 Birch St. on Friday at 9:09 p.m. Officer checked on vehicle and sent it on its way.

Caller from 1A Sutton St. reports sometime since last night, his wife’s car was broken into and a pair of sunglasses and an unknown amount of money taken on Friday 10:27 p.m. Officer confirms $20 and sunglasses were taken.

Woman reports she was involved in a road rage incident on Saturday at 9:54 a.m. at 106 Central St. She reports a woman got out of her vehicle and started yelling at her then drove off. Caller was advised to call back if she returns.

Intoxicated and out of control woman reported at the Northshore Mall on Saturday at 4:18 p.m. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.



Jarrod Devon Harris, 41, of 152 Russell St., Everett, was arrested and charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, second offense of operating under the influence of drugs, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of property damage.


A report of a motor vehicle accident on Mt. Vernon Street at 5:35 p.m. Friday; at 190 Main St. at 11:35 a.m. Saturday; at 190 Main St. at 1:40 p.m. Saturday; at Walnut Place on Walnut Street at 6:08 p.m. Saturday; at 14 Winter St. at 3:07 a.m. Sunday; at Ocean State Job Lot on Lynn Fells Parkway at 9:43 a.m. Sunday; at Oye’s Restaurant on Broadway at 11:25 a.m. Sunday; on Central Street at 6:40 p.m. Sunday.


Police were dispatched to Petco on Route 1 for a report of a road rage incident at 9:47 a.m. Friday. A woman reported she had been followed by a vehicle that was trying to get her to pull over. Police determined no crime was committed.

A Ciampa Drive resident walked into the station to report ongoing harassment from her landlord at 1:06 p.m. Friday.

Police report checking on a car parked behind Roller World with a man and woman inside at 7:40 p.m. Friday. The two parties were identified and engaged in a consensual adult activity.

A caller reported a suspicious man who took a scooter off someone’s lawn and left the scene at Mike’s Place on Hamilton Street at 8:35 p.m. Friday.

A 63 Jasper St. resident walked into the station to report that trash has been continually dumped in his yard and its an ongoing issue at 10:15 a.m. Saturday.

A caller from CVS Pharmacy reported two individuals have returned to the store and are trying to pass fraudulent prescriptions at 8:18 p.m. Saturday.

A caller from Skechers USA on Broadway reported she received two counterfeit $100 bills during a transaction at 9:13 p.m. Saturday.

A caller reported traffic lights were flashing at 104 Main St. at 11:22 p.m. Saturday.

A caller reported a metal pipe laying across the roadway on Salem Turnpike at 3:22 a.m. Sunday.

A report of a dark colored pick up truck with a silver stripe taking scrap metal from the neighborhood near Cliftondale Avenue at 5:58 p.m. Sunday.

A caller reported his vehicle was broken into while at Prince Restaurant on Broadway at 6:07 p.m. Sunday.


A report of shoplifting from Macy’s Department Store at 4:35 p.m. Saturday.

A caller from Sunglass Hut on Broadway reported someone shoplifted 13 pairs of sunglasses at 9:27 p.m. Saturday.
