Arrests

Maria Acosta, 30, of 44 Estes St., was arrested and charged with threat to commit crime, stalking and malicious damage to a motor vehicle at 5:37 p.m. Wednesday.

Dennis Hollow, 55, of 40 Lynn Shore Drive, was arrested and charged with threat to commit crime and assault with a dangerous weapon at 7:58 a.m. Thursday.

Accidents

Motor vehicle rollover crash with injury reported at Route 128 South at the Sheraton at Exit 43 on Tuesday at 4:03 p.m. Officer reports operator taken to the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington. Report taken by the Danvers Police Department.

Alarms

A 911 hangup call received from 16 Yorkshire Drive on Tuesday at 3:41 p.m. Officer reports call was accidental.

Central fire alarm sounded at Gaslight Restaurant at 1100 Market St. on Tuesday at 6:16 p.m. Officer reports the carbon monoxide detector was faulty.

Accidental burglar alarm sounded at 22 Daventry Court on Wednesday at 3:45 p.m.

Report of a burglar alarm at Lynnfield High School at 275 Essex St. on Wednesday at 10:08 p.m.

Complaints

Outdoor fire reported at 4 Harvey Park on Wednesday at 11:54 a.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Assistance requested from a resident at 13 Ashwood Road on Wednesday who needed a vehicle identification number checked on a vehicle. Officer provided assistance.  

Suspicious red pickup truck reported parked on a cul-de-sac on Partridge Lane on Wednesday at 6:19 p.m.

Caller reported trash barrels at 71 Main St. at 1 Bay State Road causing a traffic hazard on Wednesday at 8:28 p.m. Officer located the resident who owned them and removed them.

Report of a tree across the road on Essex Street near Pillings Pond Road at the entrance to Essex Village on Wednesday at 10:13 p.m.

Several calls reporting wires and tree down at Forest Hill Avenue at Lincoln Avenue on Wednesday at 10:53 p.m. Reading Municipal Light notified.

Medical Aid

Resident at 130 Summer St. needed assistance on Tuesday at 10:43 a.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Request for an ambulance at 452 Summer St. for a report of a person with back pain on Tuesday at 2:42 p.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Medical aid requested at 500 Ross Drive on Tuesday at 8:26 p.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital.

Ambulance requested at 2 Hidden Valley Road on Tuesday at 9:03 p.m. Patient taken to Winchester Hospital.

Report of a woman who fell on tennis court at Market and 425 Walnut streets on Wednesday at 10:47 a.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Medical alarm sounded at 48 Center Village on Wednesday at 11:31 a.m. Officer reports resident was not home.

Caller reported wife having trouble breathing at 10 Apple Hill Lane on Thursday at 3:56 a.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Medical rescue requested on Thursday at 7:38 a.m. at 52 Center Village for an elderly female who was not feeling well. Patient refused assistance.

MARBLEHEAD

Arrest

Alexa Schnon, 20, of 33 Story Ave., Beverly, was arrested on two non-Marblehead warrant charges at 9:03 p.m. on Wednesday.

Complaints

An employee at the school office on Baldwin Road called at 11:18 a.m. on Wednesday and reported a student who left the building. Responding officers found the student, surrounded by school staff, in the playground holding a stick.

A caller reported an erratic operator driving a JRM trash truck near Baldwin Road at 12:02 p.m. on Wednesday. They stated the driver backed up into the crosswalk and scared the kids with his air brake. The caller stated they exchanged words with the driver. Responding officers contacted the trash truck driver and relayed the caller’s concerns to him.

An off duty officer reported he was driving down Canterbury Road and noticed a 7-year-old female driving a car at 2:56 p.m. on Wednesday. The officer had a conversation with the girl and she stated she does it all the time. He stated DCF would not think favorably of the act and the girl assured him she wouldn’t do it again.

A caller reported a pole snapped in half and fell, pulling the power lines out of a Lafayette Street house at 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Electric Light and Verizon arrived to set the poles by 7:22 a.m. on Thursday.

A caller reported the smell of natural gas in the basement of their Washington Street home at 10:52 p.m. on Wednesday.

A caller reported a telephone pole down on Longview Drive at 2:29 a.m. on Thursday. By 2:59 a.m., Electric Light was on scene.

PEABODY

Accidents

Hit and run crash reported at Shaw’s Supermarket at 210 Andover St. on Wednesday at 3:23 p.m. Reporting party called back to say she did not want a police officer to respond.

Officer reports an unoccupied motor vehicle rolled and crashed into a pole at 260 Washington St. at 2 Hourihan St. on Wednesday at 5:17 p.m. Officer reports minor damage to the pole and spoke with the owner.

Complaints

Walk-in reported someone stole a package from his front steps at 30 Johnson St. on Wednesday at 8:41 p.m. Incident occurred on Sunday and officer will document.

Suspicious motor vehicle reported driving around the Burke School on Birch Street on Wednesday at 8:55 p.m. Officers checked the area and the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

Road rage incident reported at 326 Lowell and 2 Summitt streets on Wednesday at 9:09 p.m. Officers checked the area and could not locate.

Caller from White’s Emergency Service at 51 Lowell St. reported two bicycles were stolen from his home today on Wednesday at 11:16 p.m. Officer will document.

Tree down at 633 Lowell St. on Thursday at 12:10 a.m. Officer reports wires have been cleared from the scene.

Caller reported a tree down at 1 Dana Road at 21 Herrick Road on Thursday at 4:41. Officer reported Department of Public Works was notified.

Suspicious motor vehicle with an occupant parked at 3 Anthony Way on Thursday at 8:40 a.m. for an hour. Officer reports a plastering crew is at the home.

Report of a suspicious person at 9 a.m. on Thursday at 4 Berkley St. Officer reported person was gone upon arrival.

SAUGUS

Arrests

Daniel O Duffy Jr., 63, of 240 Albany St., Cambridge, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Jillian F. Bourque, 38, of 14 Makepeace St., was arrested and charged with warrant charges of larceny under $1,200, conspiracy, and other charges.

Alexandre Silva, 23, of 15 Summer St., Apt. B, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop or yield.

Viacheslav Vlasov, 31, of 390 Upham St., Melrose, was arrested on warrant charges of failure to appear upon recognizance.

Elijah D. Johnson, 31, of 100 Light St., Apt. 3, Lynn, was arrested and charged with failure to appear upon recognizance, possession of a Class B drug (cocaine rock form), possession of a Class E drug (clonazepam yellow tablet), possession of a Class E drug (promethazine white round pill), possession of a Class E drug (clonazepam blue round tablet), possession of a class E drug (unknown small white pill), possession of a Class E drug (gabapentin yellow capsule), possession of a Class E drug (gabapentin white oval pill), possession of a Class E drug (alprazolam peach tablet), possession of a Class E (unknown small green oval pill), possession of a Class E drug (unknown oblong green pill), and warrant charges.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at Walnut and Water streets at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday; at 193 Water St. at 8:47 p.m. Wednesday; at 901 Broadway at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday; at 348 Lynn Fells Parkway at 1:04 a.m. Thursday.

A report of a motor vehicle into a home at 348 Lynn Fells Parkway at 1:04 a.m. Thursday. Police reported damage to 397 and 393 Lynn Fells Parkway. The driver needed to be extricated. One person was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital. The Fire Department reported the vehicle caused significant structural damage to the foundation of 348 Lynn Fells Parkway. A message was left for the building inspector.

Complaints

A report of a parent causing a disturbance in the Veterans Memorial Elementary School on Hurd Avenue at 9:06 a.m. Tuesday.

A caller on Main Street reported she received a Snapchat that concerned her from a person who put a knife to their wrist at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday.

A caller at 113 Lincoln Ave. reported someone rang her bell and is now just standing in front of her home at 8:33 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of a black Ford driving erratically in the parking lot of the Square One Mall at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of a possible road rage incident in Cliftondale Square during which one man exited his vehicle and attempted to become physical with a female driver at 8:08 a.m. Wednesday.

A report of a bumper in the roadway at 1330 Broadway at 12:12 p.m. Wednesday.

A report of a verbal argument between two parties on Route 1 North near Speedway at 5:09 p.m. Wednesday.

A report of multiple shopping carts in the roadway at Eastern Bank on Broadway at 7:08 p.m. Wednesday.

A report of a trampoline in the middle of the roadway at Lynn Fells Parkway and Laurine Road at 10:47 p.m. Wednesday.

A report of a tree down on Willis Street that knocked down the power lines at 10:56 p.m. Wednesday.
