Abandoned 911 call from 2 Hawkes Lane on Thursday at 2:33 p.m. Officer spoke with resident and all is OK.

False burglar alarm reported from Lynnfield Middle School at 505 Main St. on Friday at 2:24 a.m.

Request from a tow truck operator for assistance with lights at 100 Walnut and 425 Market streets on Thursday at 8:32 p.m.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at Lafayette Street at 3:16 p.m. on Thursday.


An officer was flagged down by a pedestrian who reported she was in the crosswalk on Atlantic Avenue and Commercial Street when she was nearly hit by a vehicle at 10:23 a.m. on Thursday.

A caller reported at 12:20 p.m. on Thursday that two parishioners at Star of the Sea reported receiving text messages from 774-316-0250 pretending to be Fr. Steele. They stated the caller asked them to get Google Play gift cards and send them over.

A caller reported a male party in a dark SUV has gone to the lot on Phillips Street, opened the rope gate, and has since gone in and out of the lot a few times. She stated she was unsure if it was drug related but she wanted an officer to check it out. Responding officers found the vehicle gone upon their arrival.

A caller reported a black Honda with three male occupants “smoking dope” on Lighthouse Lane at 4:05 p.m. on Thursday. Responding officers reported they were only smoking a cigar.

A caller reported someone next door on Stonybrook Road was using a hammer to try and knock the front door in at 4:52 p.m. on Thursday. Responding officers found it was the person who lived there and they got locked out.



Mari Kaila Rush, 25, of 40 Bartley St., Wakefield, was arrested for disorderly conduct on Wednesday at 3:54 p.m. at 8 Patricia Road.

Victor Romero, 22, of 65 Exeter St., Apt. F, Chelsea, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop at 213 Lynn St. on Wednesday at 5:24 p.m. for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to display the owner’s name. Vehicle towed by Phil’s Towing.

Clive Vernal, 23, of 190 Manchester St., Apt. 3, Manchester, N.H., was arrested following a motor vehicle stop at 2 Walnut and 3 Central streets on Thursday at 10:27 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.


Fernando Wielevski, 38, of 90 Russell Ave., Watertown, was summoned following a motor vehicle stop at 213 Lynn St. on Wednesday at 5:12 p.m. for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Vehicle was taken by the passenger.

Larry L. Green, 54, of 119 Lewis St., Apt. 10, Lynn, was summoned following a report of a forged check on Wednesday at 7:07 p.m.


Report of a motor vehicle crash reported on Wednesday at 8:13 p.m. at 150 Main St. Officer will document.

Motor vehicle crash reported on Thursday at noon at 63 Central and 2 Tremont streets. Officer reports no tows or injuries.

Past hit and run crash reported on Thursday at 12:54 p.m. at Audi Peabody at 252 Andover St. Officer will document damage.


Employee from BMW of Peabody at 7 Centennial Drive reported a suspicious unoccupied vehicle left in the dealer’s parking lot without plates on Wednesday at 3:26 p.m. Officer advised management they can tow the vehicle off their property.

Staff from the Peabody Check Cashing at 15 Main St. reports a man is upset that they are unable to cash his check and refuses to leave on Wednesday at 4:36 p.m. Customer was described as a white man with brown hair, 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a 3-year-old child. Officer reported the man left without incident.

Caller reports a motor vehicle with Massachusetts license plate no. 7ZH838 dumped boxes and trash behind the Peabody Municipal Light Plant at 58 Warren St. Extension on Wednesday at 4:52 p.m. Officer reports he told the occupants of the vehicle they are not welcome on Warren Street Extension.

On Wednesday at 5:34 p.m. there was a report of a suspicious motor vehicle parked on Margin Street since Sunday. Officer reports the vehicle is legally parked and the owner lives in the neighborhood.

Employee from the Peabody Check Cashing at 15 Main St. reports a person made harassing telephone calls on Wednesday at 5:40 p.m. after they declined to cash his check. Officer reports caller left two voicemails to speak with management and said he would keep calling until he gets in touch. Officer will follow up.

Caller from 52 Goodale St. reported a telephone call from a foreign party impersonating a Social Security Administration employee advising her that her account has been compromised on Wednesday at 6:36 p.m. She did not provide the party with any personal information but was very concerned and wants to talk to police. Officer spoke with resident and confirmed it was a scam.

Employee at Eastern Bank at Shaw’s Supermarket at 210 Andover St. reports a man is trying to cash a stolen check for $240 on Wednesday at 7:07 p.m. Officer reports the suspect left his ID behind and fled prior to police arrival. See summons above for Larry L. Green.

Caller from 2 Meredith Road wants to speak with an officer about an ongoing neighborhood dispute on Wednesday at 7:53 p.m. with a neighbor at 8 Samoset. Officer reports the issue is over recent yard work. Parties were advised to keep to themselves.

Manager of the Outback Steakhouse at 300 Andover St. reported a customer was verbally abusive and shoved him on Wednesday at 8:40 p.m. and fled in a vehicle with Massachusetts plate no. 9VS355 going eastbound on Route 114. Officer will document.

Report of thefts at Victoria Secret at 210 Andover St. on Wednesday at 8:51 p.m. Employee said two women stole $13,950 worth of merchandise at 12:53 p.m. and a man and a woman stole $6,825 in items at 2:47 p.m. Officer reports manager refused to provide a description of the suspects.

Road rage incident reported at Dunkin’ Donuts on Wednesday at 120 Newbury St.

Unwanted guests reported in the backyard at 12 Emery St. on Thursday at 3:17 a.m. Officer checked the area and unable to locate anyone.

Report of an erratic motorist at 2 Lynn and 288 Washington streets on Thursday at 8:09 a.m. Captain stopped the vehicle and reports the person was tired from working an overnight shift.

Report of barking dog outside at 15 Sewall St. on Thursday at 2:23 a.m. Officers checked the area and all is quiet.


Report of an overdose on Northend Street on Thursday at 9:10 a.m. Patient taken to Salem Hospital.



Lisbet Flores, 21, of 24 Hamilton St., was arrested on a probation warrant.


A report of a motor vehicle accident at Square One Mall on Broadway at 10:37 a.m. Thursday; at 7-Eleven on Hamilton Street at 1:21 p.m. Thursday.


A report of a broken garden statue on the side of the road near Bob’s Store on Broadway at 1:16 a.m. Thursday.

A caller reported someone was posting videos on YouTube and harassing and threatening him at 9:23 a.m. Thursday.

A caller at 325 Central St. reported she found a rock near one of the basement windows and the bushes have been tampered with at 2:48 p.m. Thursday. She believes someone may have attempted to break in. Police performed a walk through with the homeowner and reported no signs of a break-in or attempted break-in.

A report of loud music at 47 Newhall Ave. at 4:40 a.m. Friday.
