A walk-in reported at 4:51 p.m. on Monday that she may be the victim of credit card fraud. She stated she has gotten mail from several different retail stores about her credit card.
A caller reported that he was out for a walk at Ocean Avenue and Beach Street at 5:34 p.m. on Monday and he tripped over a metal sign post that was cut off about an inch off the pavement. He stated he went home and put ice on his shoulder and his forehead. He declined medical attention but he wanted the department to be aware of it.
A caller reported someone came to his Green Street door claiming to be soliciting for Verizon at 5:58 p.m. on Monday.
A caller reported two teen males on bikes doing wheelies in the middle of Pleasant Street and almost got struck at 6:33 p.m. on Monday. Responding officers spoke to the kids.

Summons
Michael Muise, 41, of 3 Garden Road, was summoned for larceny on Sunday at 8:37 p.m. after a woman reported her purse was stolen from the Roadhouse Pub the previous evening.

Hit and run crash reported on Sunday at 11:21 p.m. at 45 Clement Ave. Caller reports his vehicle was struck while parked on the street but was not witnessed. Officer will document.
Hit and run crash reported on Monday at 8:41 a.m. at AAA Auto Repair at 22 Wallis St. Officer will document.
Animal Control
Caller from 9 Holten St. reports a large stray dog on his property on Sunday at 11 p.m., appears disoriented, and won’t move. Sergeant reports it is a black Lab showing signs of neglect and poor health. Animal control officer contacted and she recommended the animal be taken to Borash Veterinary Clinic where she can follow up in the morning. Dog was taken to Borash with visible injuries to its tail and backside. Police received a call from the owner of a chocolate Lab which fits the description.
Caller reports a dog loose in the area of 378 Lynnfield St. and Bartholomew Street on Monday at 11:32 a.m. Officer reports animal was gone upon arrival.
Animal control officer received report of parties leaving bags of dog waste on public property on George Avenue on Monday at 1:07 p.m. Officer mailed a notice of complaint, copy of waste removal law, order to license within 10 days, and a license application to the parties.

Suspicious motor vehicle reported by the Newbury Street Inn at 170 Newbury St. on Sunday at 5:11 p.m. Caller reported a vehicle with New Hampshire plate no. 2530892 has been parked in the lot beside the motel for four days and does not belong to any guest. Officer reports the license plate that belongs to the vehicle is Massachusetts plate no. 6NW239. New Hampshire plate was removed.
Neighbor reported disturbance reported at the Charles Motel at 4 Mill St. on Sunday at 5:15 p.m. Caller said he could hear lots of yelling and banging. Officer reports intoxicated woman was taken to Salem Hospital.
Gray Volkswagen Golf in the parking lot of Avalon Drive was reported on Sunday at 5:58 p.m. Caller said the motor vehicle has been slowly cruising through the parking lot for an hour. Officer reports the person lives on property and was giving a driving lesson.
Report of two parties on dirt bikes riding around the Edythe Lane and Nancy Avenue neighborhood on Sunday at 6:44 p.m. Officer checked the area and all is quiet.
Dispute between a taxi driver and a passenger over a fare on Monday at 12:53 a.m. at 109 Russell St. Matter was settled prior to the officer’s arrival. The fare was paid. Officer was unable to talk to the passenger, who went inside their home.
Loud music reported on Monday at 3:10 a.m. at 286 Newbury St., Apt. 48. Officer reports all is quiet.
Lyft driver reports he has an intoxicated man in his car at the Golden Banana at 151 Newbury St. who is not his fare and refuses to leave on Sunday at 10:07 p.m. Call back reported the issue has been settled and no police needed.

A caller reported a suitcase had been left behind the closed Starbucks on Broadway at 2:19 p.m. Monday. The caller claimed he had a drug enforcement K-9 who alerted him that there were possibly narcotics in the briefcase. Police report the suitcase was filled with personal items with no identifiers.
A caller reported someone in the marsh behind her house with a flashlight and it appears they are coming toward her house at 25 Naples Ave. at 9:25 p.m. Monday. An extensive area search was performed and nothing out of the ordinary was found.
