A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 2:42 p.m. Friday on Village Street. Police reported the man who drove off said he didn’t realize he hit the car.
Breaking and Entering
A report of a storage shed breaking and entering at 7:37 a.m. Saturday on Humphrey Street. A storage shed was reportedly broken into overnight. A caller reported that as he arrived to work, he pulled to the back of the building to park and noticed the storage shed where extra gym equipment was stored was wide open. Another caller said she checked and believes an employee left it unlocked and the wind blew it open.
Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 9:29 a.m. Friday on Washington Street. The store manager reported a man they caught shoplifting was outside the store pacing around and talking to himself. The man was trespassed from the store.
A report of kids walking in the street at 2:36 p.m. Friday at Pleasant and Gerry streets. A caller reported a group of children walking in the middle of the road heading toward downtown.
A report of a disturbance at 8:25 p.m. Friday on Middle Street. A caller reported hearing fireworks for half an hour. She didn’t see anything in the sky, so she thought it might have been gunshots. A second caller reported fireworks and saw two men walking up Washington Street. Police were unable to locate anything.
Someone walked into the police station to report that some young girls had been receiving inappropriate messages and photos from an older man at 8:57 p.m. Friday on West Shore Drive.
A man called to ask police for help locating his car at 9:41 p.m. Friday at Captains Walk Lane and Beacon Street. He said he couldn’t find his car and was looking around. He said he got “turned around” trying to find his car that was parked near the Unitarian Church on Mugford Street. Police gave him a ride back to search and dropped him off at his car, which was parked near Market Square.
A report of a well-being check at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Countryside Lane and Humphrey Street. A caller reported there was a shoeless kid going up the street doing push-ups in the roadway. The caller reported the teenager appeared to be about 18 years old.
A caller reported at 11:43 a.m. Saturday her wallet was stolen from her unlocked car overnight on Elmwood Road.
A report of kids rollerblading on the roof at 1:24 p.m. Saturday on Village Street. There were reportedly two boys and two girls. One of the kids had a skateboard. The custodian reported there was security camera footage.
A caller reported a man was speeding around and showing off with his silver convertible Maserati at 3:15 p.m. Saturday at Ocean and Harbor avenues.

Michael K. Russell, 37, of 133 Wilson Road, Apt. 2, was arrested on warrants at 12:52 p.m. Friday.
Julia Rene Yanakopulos, 29, of 10 Dearborn St., Medford, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and speeding at 11:39 p.m. Thursday.
Assaults
A report of an assault and battery at 8:16 p.m. Friday at a house party. The caller was unable to give an address or location.
Complaints
A report of a disturbance at 8:51 p.m. Friday on Harborview Road. A caller reported several males outside her residence arguing. Police spoke with the people, who were walking home and just talking loudly over the wind.
