A caller on Wilson Road reported a cat was wandering around her neighborhood and followed her into her house at 12:09 p.m. Tuesday. The caller was able to check the cat’s collar and attempted to call the owner but did not get an answer. Police advised the caller to bring the cat back to the neighbor’s home, but she was afraid the cat might bite her if she tried to pick it up. Police put the cat in a pet carrier and brought it to the police station.
A caller reported a truck backed into his house on Wilson Road and left damage at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday.
A report of a loose dog in the lower part of Valley Road at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday.

Animal Control
Caller left a voicemail for the animal control officer on Thursday at 8:29 a.m. that she wants to “surrender” her dog, Buddy, because he bit her daughter on March 5. On call back she was advised the dog must be quarantined for 10 days before she can get rid of him. She was also told the city does not accept surrender animals and suggested she contact rescue organizations.
Report of two large black dogs loose at 2 Antonio Drive and 278 Lynnfield St. on Thursday 1:03 p.m. Officer reports the home health aide let them out accidentally and they are on their way home.
