LYNN — A 36-year-old Lynn man was arrested on drug trafficking charges after a large amount of illegal drugs was seized from his Broad Street home Monday afternoon.

Jose Mora was charged with heroin, fentanyl and cocaine trafficking and heroin/fentanyl distribution.

The arrest was the result of a months-long investigation by the Lynn Police Drug Task Force, with officers purchasing drugs from Mora over the past couple of months, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.

The Drug Task Force then executed a search warrant at 32 Broad St. on Monday afternoon, Kmiec said.

Police seized 120 grams of a combination of heroin and fentanyl and 20 grams of cocaine, with an estimated street value of $14,000, Kmiec said.

Mora was not home during the raid and was later arrested following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Essex and Chatham streets, Kmiec said.
