Summons

Peter Malan, 24, of 114 Nahant St., Apt. 3, Wakefield, following a motor vehicle complaint on Condon Circle on Saturday at 12:58 p.m. for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an uninsured vehicle and attaching plates. Phil’s Towing on scene.

Accidents

Motor vehicle crash with injury and property damage reported on Thursday at 7:09 a.m. on Rockwood Road. Officer reports patient taken to the hospital.

Report of a motor vehicle crash on Thursday at 1:46 p.m. Caller said the vehicle is in his driveway at 967 Summer St. Officer stood by for tow.

Motor vehicle crash reported at 538 Salem St. on Friday at 8:32 a.m. Caller reports no injuries. Report taken. On call back caller said he is on Salem Street in Wakefield.

Motor vehicle crash with possible injuries reported on South Broadway on Friday at 11:10 a.m. Massachusetts State Police to handle call.

Hit and run crash reported on Saturday at 9:48 p.m. at 11 Longbow Road.

False burglar alarm reported by Sentry Protective at 6 Olde Towne Road on Friday at 5:17 p.m. Officer spoke with resident and reports all appears secure.

Accidental burglar alarm reported at the Huckleberry Hill School at 5 Knoll Road on Friday at 6:24 p.m. Report of an interior motion detector alarm at 3 Bridle Path on Saturday at 10:46 a.m. Offer reports all is secure.

Accidental 911 call from a child on Saturday at 7:40 p.m. at 3 Cooks Farm Lane.

Burglar alarm canceled at Tommy Bahama at 1330 Market St. on Monday at 5:59 a.m.

Animal Control

Report from the Animal Clinic of Lynnfield at 1 Bay State Road on Saturday at 3:28 p.m. of a small, 17-pound white dog with long hair and no collar and answers to the name Patchy, very friendly and not microchipped.

Complaints

Caller from 500 Ross Drive reported fraud charges on credit card on Thursday at 2:10 p.m. Officer took report.

Larceny reported at United Parcel Service on Kimball Road on Thursday at 5:13 p.m.

Caller from 375 North Broadway, Building 3, Apt. 201 reported loud music on Friday at 2:26 a.m. Officer spoke with resident.

Report of threats at 898 Salem St. on Friday at 7:55 a.m.

Caller from 500 Ross Drive reports she is getting threatening phone calls on Friday at 11:15 a.m.

Officer wanted on Robin Road on Saturday at 11:21 a.m. from a man who reported an older man flashed his high beams at him, pulled up behind him and got out of his vehicle Friday night. Reporting party said he drove away when the man got out of his car. No words were exchanged.

Well-being check requested at 12:13 p.m. on Saturday at 201 Essex Village for a 93-year-old woman who fell. Caller reports a man weaving in and out of traffic on Walnut Street on Saturday at 3:44 p.m.

Man from New Hampshire called to say his car was towed and is unaware where it was taken on Saturday at 5:29 p.m. Caller appears to be confused and unable to provide his New Hampshire license plate number. Dispatcher located the caller in the Criminal Justice Information Services Division system and contacted Carroll County sheriff where they are familiar with the caller and they will conduct a well-being check. They say he has dementia and often calls looking for his car. His family has taken away the key for safety reasons. Call ended when sheriff arrived to check on the man.

Caller from Heather Drive reports she is getting inappropriate calls from an unknown man from Germany. Caller ID comes up as Stephan Engal on Saturday at 5:29 p.m. Reporting party said she will call Verizon and have the number blocked.

Well-being check request for a person at 6 Alderney Way on Saturday at 5:40 p.m.

Medical Aid

Ambulance requested at 54 Locust St. for a person with a broken leg on Thursday at 12:09 p.m. Officer reports patient taken to the hospital.

Request for medical aid on Thursday at 3:46 p.m. at Kelly Jeep Chrysler Plymouth at 353 North Broadway. Officer reports patient refused treatment.

Request for an ambulance at 3 Carol Ann Road on Thursday at 5:29 p.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Ambulance required at 7 Ashley Court on Thursday at 5:40 p.m.

Request for an ambulance for a person who fell and suffered a head injury at 300 Main St. on Friday at 9:32 a.m. Patent taken to the hospital.

Caller from King’s Entertainment at 510 Market St. reported a child with an allergic reaction needs an ambulance on Friday at 1:51 p.m. Child taken to the hospital.

Request for an ambulance from Lahey Health Center at 1350 Market St. on Friday at 6:08 p.m. Patient taken to Beverly Hospital.

Ambulance wanted at 500 Ross Drive on Friday at 9:17 p.m. Patient taken to Beverly Hospital.

Caller requested an ambulance for a very weak elderly man at 375 North Broadway, Apt. 2-109 on Sunday at 6:20 a.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Ambulance requested from 500 Ross Drive on Sunday at 4:28 p.m. for an earache. Patient taken to the hospital.

MARBLEHEAD

Complaints

An off-duty firefighter reported a motor vehicle that was possibly in a car crash at 8:32 a.m. Sunday on Lafayette Street. The car was not occupied, had a smashed up front end and was against a tree half in/half out of the driveway. Police reported the motorist was on scene and had ricocheted off the curb and a snow bank.

A report of a transformer that exploded at 9:59 a.m. Sunday on Briar Lane. Multiple callers reported hearing two to three loud explosions and no power. Police reported the transformer on the pole had given way.

A report of a suspicious bucket loader with two people inside at 4:24 p.m. Sunday on Smith Street. Police reported a company was doing snow removal.

Overdose

A report of a possible overdose at 11:16 p.m. Sunday on Gregory Street. The person was taken to North Shore Children’s Hospital.

PEABODY

Arrest

Alexander Lang, 27, of 21 Harvey Place, West Newton, was arrested on Thursday at 11:23 p.m. on a warrant following a well-being check at the Plaza Hotel at 125 Newbury St. and possession of Class A and B substances.

Summons

Scott D. Covey, 48, of 43 Apple Hill Lane, Lynnfield, was summoned following a traffic stop on Thursday at 4:59 p.m. at the John E. McCarthy Elementary School at 76 Lake St. for operating an uninsured, unregistered motor vehicle with a revoked registration, and no inspection sticker. Officer reports vehicle was towed.

Elizabeth Cooper, 35, of 95 Dalton Road, Holliston, was arrested on Thursday at 10:10 p.m. on three warrants from Ayer, Littleton, and Framingham district courts and charged with crimes against a person, reckless endangerment of a child, and shoplifting. A party from 21 Caller St., Apt. 101, wanted her removed.

Courtney E. Kiley, 22, of 13 Sewall St., was summoned on Friday at 1:32 p.m. for breaking and entering into a motor vehicle after a call from her ex-boyfriend who reported she may have broken into the vehicle and stolen the steering wheel. Victim said he tried to call the suspect multiple times but was unable to reach her, and left a voicemail. Reporting party said his current girlfriend and a friend said the ex threw the steering wheel in different locations after she initially denied taking it.

Accidents

Two-car motor vehicle crash reported with no injuries on Friday at 7:22 a.m. at 22 Donegal Road at 8 Belfast St.

Motor vehicle crash reported on Friday at 12:34 p.m. at 19 Walnut St. Officer will document.

Animal Control

Report of a stray dog without tags at 2 Clement Ave. at 96 Washington St. on Friday at 1:54 p.m. Animal Control officer responded, but the animal was gone upon arrival.

Caller reports his dog was struck by a car at 1 Forbes Way and Prospect Street on Friday at 3:25 p.m.  On callback, party reported he was hit by the car’s mirror while walking his dog in the street. He said the driver then backed up and yelled at him. The dog’s foot was injured when the driver took off. Dispatch was advised of pedestrian accident. The Animal Control officer reported this was a past pedestrian accident.

Complaints

Bank of America at 150 Main St. reported a homeless man sleeping in the hallway blocking access to the ATM on Thursday at 9:30 p.m. Officer reports the man was sent on his way.

Well-being requested for a person at 67 Veterans Memorial Drive on Thursday at 10:29 p.m. Officer reports officers report the subject of the wellbeing check was not at the address given.  

A 911 caller from 3906 Woodbridge Road reported an unknown person or persons knocking on the door and/or ringing the doorbell on Friday at 3:23 a.m. Officer will document.

On Friday at 1:11 p.m., resident from 86 Franklin St. reported a suspicious man rang her doorbell four times last night at 1 a.m. Officer will document.

Report of teens throwing snowballs at cars driving by 111 Main St. on Friday at 2:51 p.m. Kids left prior to police arrival.

SAUGUS

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 1252 Broadway at 12:48 pm. Friday.

A report of a car into a snowbank at Sunoco Gas Station at 1:21 p.m. Friday.

A report of a rollover accident near 9 Broadway at 3:41 a.m. Saturday.

A caller reported a pickup truck struck the building at Chisholm’s Motel and fled the scene at 3:47 a.m. Sunday.

Complaints

A report of a suspicious man walking on Ballard Street towards Route 107 at 4:32 p.m. Friday.

A caller on Hamilton Street reported hearing a loud whistle near her home at 9:23 p.m. Friday.

A woman walked into the Saugus Police Station at 1 a.m. Saturday to report that while leaving work at the Border Cafe an unknown woman approached her and began to verbally assault her, then kicked her vehicle causing minor dents and damage to the driver’s side mirror.

A Jasper Street resident reported that both of his tires on the driver’s side were slashed overnight at 8:34 a.m. Saturday.

A caller reported that a customer at Hooters on Broadway got into a physical altercation with the manager over his bill at 12:49 a.m. Sunday.

A report of a woman attempting to break into pickup trucks parked in the garage at Walmart at 6 p.m. Sunday.

A report of a homeless man sleeping in the ATM area at Eastern Bank on Broadway at 6:31 a.m. Monday.

Theft

A caller reported someone tried to shoplift an unknown amount of liquor from Guy’s Liquor at 7 Main St. at 10:44 a.m. Friday.

A caller from Target reported more than $850 worth of vacuum cleaners had been stolen by a single person at 2:15 p.m. Saturday.
