LYNN — Brotherhood Credit Union recently welcomed two new hires: Mark Skillman as vice president, Mortgage Lending and Business Development, and Marilyn DeSimone as operations officer.
With more than 20 years of financial experience, Skillman brings a reputation for effective client relationship management and business development. Most recently, Skillman worked at Allanach Mortgage Group where he was a relationship manager and in business development.
DeSimone will oversee retail staff, managing credit union compliance, and handling human resources and information technology. Since 1987, DeSimone has worked in many diverse capacities of the banking industry. Most recently, she spent eight years as assistant vice president at Eastern Bank, where she oversaw operations at two branches. Prior to that, she was a Compliance officer for the National Labor Relations Board ,where she served as a Spanish, Italian and Portuguese translator.
Founded in 1934, Brotherhood Credit Union operates two local branches, in Lynn and Marblehead.
