Report of a minor motor vehicle crash at Route 1 at Salem Street on Wednesday at 1:31 p.m. Officer reports crash could not be located.

Motor vehicle crash with property damage but no personal injury reported on Wednesday at 3:34 p.m. at 360 Walnut St. at 1 Country Club Lane.


A 911 hangup call received from 695 Salem St. on Wednesday at 9:09 a.m. Officer confirms it was an accident.

Accidental burglar alarm reported at Lynnfield High School on Thursday at 5:35 a.m. Officer reports building appears secure.


Report of a suspicious book left atop a vehicle on Wednesday at 8:37 a.m. at 7 Westway.

Caller from 20 Homestead Road reported a group of teens running through yards on Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. Officer unable to locate.

Report of a suspicious black SUV driving around the Apple Hill Lane neighborhood on Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. Officer checked the area and unable to locate the vehicle.

Disabled auto reported at Condon Circle on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Mom from 11 Townsend Road called to report an argument with her daughter over a cellphone led to the child running away on Wednesday at 11:24 p.m. Caller said she knows her daughter’s location due to cellphone tracking, which says she is in Newhall Park. Mother reports she is en route to pick up the child at 11:35 p.m. Officer reports child is at home with mother.

Medical Aid

Request for an ambulance on Wednesday at 8:22 a.m. at 12 Village Row. Officer reports patient taken to the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Peabody.

Lynnfield Senior Center at 525 Salem St. requested an ambulance on Wednesday at 1:42 p.m. for a woman who had fallen. Lynnfield Fire Department reports patient refused medical attention.

Report of a person who fell and injured their leg at the ice rink at MarketStreet on Wednesday at 1:11 p.m. Lynnfield Fire Department reports patient refused medical attention.

Request for an ambulance for a 62-year-old man with breathing difficulty at the Lahey Urgent Care at 1350 Market St. on Wednesday at 1:50 p.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Report of a person who is dizzy, has palpitations, and is vomiting at 10 Grey Lane on Wednesday at 6:04 p.m. Patient was taken to the hospital.



A report of a motor vehicle crash at Ocean Avenue and Risley Road at 9:46 a.m. on Wednesday.


A caller reported a Jaguar parked in a handicapped spot with no placard at Washington and State streets at 12:14 p.m. on Wednesday. They stated the driver cut them off going around the Old Town House and then parked in the spot. Responding officers tagged the vehicle.

A caller contacted 911 because her cellphone kept ringing with no one on the other end. Responding officers looked at the phone and reported it was trying to get her to set up a voicemail.

A caller reported a possible water break at Cornell and Colgate roads at 3:37 p.m. on Wednesday. The water department was notified.

A caller reported at 4:10 p.m. on Wednesday that he left his bicycle at a friend’s house and it was taken by another friend. At 5:11 p.m. he called back and reported he was getting Snapchat videos of kids smashing up his bike and taking pieces. At 7:36 a.m., the father of the caller called in to report the bike wasn’t his to begin with.

A caller reported their downstairs neighbor on State Street was playing loud music at 11:46 p.m. on Wednesday. At 12:04 a.m., responding officers spoke to the neighbors and had the music turned down. At 12:07 a.m. the caller called back and stated the neighbors turned it back up as soon as the officers left.  



Motor vehicle crash reported with no injuries on Wednesday at 2:15 p.m. at Speedway at 545 Lowell St. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

Animal Control

Caller left a voicemail message for the Animal Control officer saying she found a stray shih tzu in front of the Breaking Grounds Cafe at 67 Main St. on Tuesday at 3:14 p.m. On callback, she reported the owner was located at 5 Park St.

Animal Control officer reports an order to license and vaccinate a dog within seven days, copy of the leash law, a waste removal warning was sent to Christian Leone at 1 Travis Terrace on Wednesday at 8:35 a.m. As a courtesy, a license application will be included. The city clerk’s office has no record of this dog.

Caller left voicemail for the Animal Control officer on Wednesday at 9:09 a.m. complaining that two dogs from 21 Murray St., bark excessively in the morning. Officer mailed a citation warning and copy of the barking law to Robert Bonia, 21 Murray St. Both of his dogs, Drei and Junior, are licensed and vaccinated against rabies.

Animal Control officer received a voicemail reporting a lost dog, Rocky, at 26 Augustus St. Officer reports no answer on callback, left message requesting status. No record of Rocky at the City Clerk’s office. Officer mailed a licensing form and order to license within seven days to Laura Tarantino. Dog owner left voicemail reporting Rocky had been located.

Wild turkey reported at 195 Washington St. on Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. Animal Control officer said there is nothing she can do, but noted traffic is about to get around the birds.


Fight in progress reported between two women at the Tannery Apartments at 16 Crowninshield St. on Tuesday at 3:33 p.m. Officer reports the fight was verbal and all is resolved.

Tenant from the Tannery Apartments at 16 Crowninshield St., Apt. 611 reported property was stolen from his apartment on Tuesday at 4:18 p.m. Crowninshield management said several packages were stolen from the main lobby and two women were seen on camera taking them. Officer will document.

Unwanted guest at the pharmacy reported by Walgreens at 229 Andover St. on Tuesday at 6:18 p.m. Officer reports customer was gone upon arrival of police.

The front desk at the Holiday Inn at 1 Newbury St. reports two drunk people near the ballroom on Wednesday at 1:09 a.m. Officer reports parties left prior to police arrival.

Spring Hill Suites at 43 Newbury St. reported two intoxicated people are trying to get into the hotel on Wednesday at 1:27 a.m. Officer reports parties sent on their way in a taxi.

Report of a verbal argument between a man and a woman near the West Congregational Church at 27 Johnson St. on Wednesday at 12:34 p.m. Officer reports they were gone upon police arrival.

Woman called to request that a man be removed from the Charles Motel, at 4 Mill St., Apt. 9, on Wednesday at 12:43 p.m. Officer reports man was advised to stay away.

Medical Aid

Well-being check requested for a neighbor on Cedar Grove Avenue on Tuesday at 4:22 p.m. by a friend who hasn’t heard from him in days. Dispatch reports the neighbor called back to say she gained access to his residence and spoke with him, he was sleeping but is now awake.
